Gave us the wrong change and order, then when we told her she got frustrated. So disappointed with the service. The food could be the best thing ever but with how we were treated ... or actually ignored and forgotten I can not recommend this place to anyone . Okay let's get this out of the way. Were these the best tacos? No not 5/5 stars but they were really good, AND THEY HAVE A DRIVE THRU? This place is goated in my eyes. I would say that the wait time takes a while but it isn't McDonalds so I understand. Wow! I'm glad I stopped by this restaurant. The food was very tasty and super delicious! We ordered carne asada fries and let me tell you, they were very generous with the food portions. Definitely one of my favorite authentic taco spots at the moment. Monterey/PG/Carmel simply do not have decent Mexican spots of any kind and I decided to try this spot. They are mostly known for their tacos and have a smallish menu. I've tried the Al pastor, asada, carnitas, pollo, and lengua (beef tongue) tacos and they all were very enjoyable. The carnitas were a little plain and oily but the salsa verde is super good. I wish they would put more cilantro and onions on each taco as it's kind of skimpy but overall the meat is flavorful, and prices are good. They also have a drive thru which is convenient. The horchata and Jamaica drinks were also great-- not too sweet or tart. I like that they give you the vinegar-y carrots with the tacos for a nice crunch. Service is fast and parking is easy in the lot. It's very causal inside with some upgraded fixtures but it used to be a previous fast food joint so it's a sit and go type environment. I've also tried their pozole which was good but I wish they offered cabbage not iceberg lettuce with it. I also had a pollo super burrito that was great-- a little cheesey but good mix of flavors. This underrated spot is definitely worth the drive. It's also a chain restaurant. read more

The tacos are the best in seaside, not as great as the Salina's location. Sadly Salina's location is closed. However the customer service from almost every employee is TERRIBLE. Theirs a Hispanic lady with black nails did not catch her name shoved my food in my car on the drive thru and greeting no thankyou no nothing. It's not the first time she does this. We are here vacationing in Monterey and decided to try a new Taqueria and we found one that had 3 1/2 stars but I thought they deserved a little more. I had the chili Verde wet burrito; my husband had the al Pastor wet burrito; they followed instructions to the T, we ordered in through DoorDash, but as far as the service they follow directions exactly as we asked them to.
