Tacos Don Nacho is hands down my favorite spot for tacos. I've only ever had the corn and flour tacos, but both are perfect. The flour tacos(tacos harina) are a little bit bigger and come with your choice of meat, plus tomatoes, shredded cheese, lettuce and sour cream. My favorite taco harina is the molida(ground beef) which is cooked up with some tomatoes, onions and spices. My favorite taco at don nacho is the taco maiz with carnitas, which is the corn tortilla with roasted pork. These tacos are a bit smaller but are so flavorful. They are topped with cilantro and onions, along with your choice of green and red hot sauce. The pork is perfectly cooked, it has the consistency of pulled pork and it still dripping in juices. For only $1.50 each you really can't get a better meal. I always get one of the jarritos lime sodas to wash the tacos down with. If you like authentic Mexican tacos you need to try this place! read more

The first time I ever drove by was with my roommate, I turned to him and said just by looking at it that I was willing to be it had the best authentic Mexican food around, he laughed. The next week I dragged him there, we go back almost every week since. You pull up this little shack with big words on top "TACOS DON NACHO"! Get out over your car and walk up to the counter to find two members of this small family running the place. Typically it is a mother working the grill and the daughter working the register. You don't get more authentic than this place, all house made hot sauces, freshly raised beef, chopped pork, chicken, delicious! I usually get the maize tacos, by the dozen! Tacos Don Nacho has the same quality as its predecessor "Tacos Jalisco" but like tacos jalisco beware if they try to pawn off a gringo taco on you (flour tortilla w/ cheese) always go for the corn! When we moved in down the street I was bummed about the lack of food options in the Woon. Tried Don Nachos out and have been coming back weekly for last couple of months. They make great chorizo quesadillas, and a very good chimichanga. They upgraded their menus recently and upped the price of every item a buck, so that kind of sucks. The Chile Relleño combo is muy bueno, as is the Chimichanga combo. You're not going to be hungry after either of them. The beef tacos in corn tortillas are excellent. The quesadillas had lots of cheese. The burritos are big with lots of good stuff whatever you may have ordered for filling. I've been there many times and would recommend to anyone. The only reason I didn't go to 4 stars was the wait time. Don't go if you're in a huge hurry. It's worth the wait though. There are always people at the window when I go by there. The seating is outside only. Plan on eating in your car or taking it home if the weather isn't good. read more
