I came here with my mom on a weekday night. We weren't too hungry so we had two tacos each and shared their carne asada fries. They have a large selection of meats to choose from for the tacos but we ended up getting carne asada, carnitas, and chorizo to keep it simple. The food came out all at the same time and it was all hot, looked fresh, and smelled fantastic. The fries were crispy and topped with a generous amount of well seasoned, tender, and perfectly grilled carne asada, creaminess from the cheese and sour cream, and hints of spice from the jalapeños. The tacos were also very delicious, despite being simple street tacos. They all had a good amount of meat (although it might have been a bit too salty) and the tortillas were soft. I would absolutely come back to try other menu items. Their staff was also very kind and attentive. The space is very colorful and bright, decorated with some authentic Mexican items/images. They have a big parking lot, which takes away some of the stress. It is also near downtown so there are other good businesses around. read more

Visited yesterday for the first time and loved the brightly colored decor of this Mexican restaurant. We chose a booth and really loved the carved wood seats. We started with the house margaritas, and the medium was well priced and larger than I've seen lately in most places. It had excellent flavor and you could taste the alcohol (which is a good thing!). Loved the complimentary warm chips and the salsa was very good too. We ordered chorizo tacos, a carnitas taco, and a beef supreme taco, along with Mexican rice and a pork tamale. To me, all of the meats seemed a little too salty, but maybe that was just me. Everything tasted fresh, was nicely prepared and well presented. The tacos were excellent, especially the pastor with pineapple. The carne asada was very good, but the pastor is a must for that perfect sweet and savory balance. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared--definitely worth coming back for. Service was solid and fit the casual atmosphere well. We came back the next day with our daughters and again just for the margaritas, which are an experience on their own with lots of options and three different sizes. The décor isn't upscale, but the carved and painted chairs were fascinating and really highlighted Aztec culture throughout the space. It may not be for everyone, but for us it was perfect. This is a bright cheerful place. The service is good. The food is terrible. The worst Mexican I've had. I prefer Taco Bell to this. Let's start with the margarita. Don't be deceived by this whole in the wall gem. Every time I've been here, the food is incredible. The staff are always welcoming treat you like you are guests in their home. First time here, there won't be a second. Waitress sitting at the bar eating when we walked in, she didn't get up, but told us we could sit anywhere. Chips and salsa were served a few minutes later. The salsa looked and tasted like tomato sauce- very bland. That bland trend continues when entrees were served. Its flavor was not lost in its cheesiness, the peppers were still crisp, and the chicken was fresh and tender. Served with rice and beans, it was a filling and aromatic meal. I ordered the nachos and a taco on my second visit, and was not disappointed. I ordered this on purpose, to get rid of the idea of chain tacos and nachos, and both hit the spot. What struck me the most about these items, besides how fresh and delicious they were, and how quickly they arrived at our table, was the authenticity of the food. This place is horrible! First of all the service was terrible. The tables were dirty and the restaurant had a terrible smell. There was only one person working out front. He would go in the back for long periods of time. He never checked on us during our meal and we needed things. The food was not even edible! My son (who loves nachos) wouldn't even touch the nachos. They don't put cheese on them; Instead it's a gross white sauce. I got the Texas fajita and didn't even eat it. The meat was over cooked. The salsa is dispensed in a caraffe and chips were great. My shrimp fajitas were cooked just right and left me very adequately satisfied. I wished they had given me a tad less food so I could've finished it all. The decor looks like it could have been recycled from an old chinese restaurant.. Wow! I can't believe this place is in Attleboro! The building itself still looks like the typical Attleboro building, which is pretty crappy. We walked in and noticed it was pretty dead and we we're kind of afraid that a really bad meal was coming our way. The service was a little slow as we came in while they were watching a soccer game on tv. They have a ton of different magaritas for under $6 and they were really good and filled with tequila. The chicken dish that I had was also some of the best Mexican that we've had in some time. Honestly, I can barely say anything negative about this place besides the slow service. I would normal rate this place probably at 4.5 stars because of the service and the ugly building, but because of the great pricing there is no way that I can do anything less. 2 magaritas, 2 entrees and chips and salsa (free) for under $30, you can't beat that! read more
