Looking for a quick bite after a day out. Who doesn't love chip and salsa! Beautiful restaurant and friendly staff. I'm from the west coast and I'm was not too thrilled with the food. I've always heard it not the best out this way. Chips and salsa weee good. My nephew had a cheese quesadilla which he dropped and they very quickly and nicely replaced. My mom had a the mango salad. She enjoyed it. Looked very fresh. I had carnitas and I was not pleased. The beans had a weird taste and did the rice. The carnitas lacked flavor although the salad verde helped it. We also had the sampler platter which was good the potato thing was a little dry. The jalapeño wrapped in bacon was yummy!!

Our service was amazing! Our drinks were full the whole time and our waitress was never far away. I really like the decor in this place as well. I got the queso birria tacos and they were definitely a treat. Not as good as back home in San Diego, but better than I expected from the east coast.

    Very good selection of food.

Very friendly staff, very clean and super clean inside. Waiting on the food to give a food review!!! But I'm sure it will be good also.

I have rated this restaurant very highly in the past. The food is great...you cannot take that away from them. The problem seems to be more along the lines of management. We ate dinner there tonight and apparently there was a problem with the printer. We ended up having three people come and try to take our orders, our drinks arrived minutes before our food and all in all, it was a bit of a mess. I mentioned to one of the senior servers as I was leaving that the least they should've done was to comp our cocktails... Which they did not do. She just looked at me and said sorry. Also, there were not a ton of people in there on Friday night at dinner time so I seriously question how long this restaurant is going to last. Taunton has a glowing reputation for losing restaurants.

Many of the entrees have guacamole salad as a side dish. Not a fan. Can I substitute refried beans?

I've been to other Fiesta locations but this taqueria is head and shoulders above the rest. The menu has tacos, burritos, bowls, salads, quesadillas and a few other options available but keeps it simple with the essentials and doesn't run the risk of menu overload. The chips, guacamole and salsa are always a good way to start off things when you order from Fiesta Taqueria. I generally gravitate toward the burrito or bowl and I can assure you that the carnitas at Fiesta Taqueria is perhaps some of the best you'll find. It's always fresh tasting and expertly cooked and when in a burrito or a bowl is the protein of choice you should be going for while at Fiesta. Jarritos sodas are a perfect addition for the Mexican food; be sure to give the pineapple one a try to help balance out the heat from the salsa. Though there are some seats available, most folks grab Fiesta for takeout orders and when ordering from there orders have always been available on-time as noted when ordering. Parking out front can be a bit of a challenge so park in the town parking lot behind Fiesta for much easier access in and out.

I don't know why most of my recent restaurant reviews seem to be about Mexican food. I eat out all…read morethe time--I just happen to have stumbled across some truly outstanding Mexican restaurants lately. Maybe it's because I live on Martha's Vineyard, and while the Island has plenty of great places to eat, authentic Mexican cuisine is hard to find. Sorry, JB, but there's really no authentic Mexican food on the Vineyard. Fiesta Mexican in Norton is an amazingly well-hidden gem. From the outside, sitting in a strip mall, you might assume it's just another typical Mexican restaurant. It's not. The restaurant is much larger than it appears, has an impressive atmosphere, and boasts what seems like hundreds of tequilas behind the bar. Even at 1:30 in the afternoon, there was a strong lunch crowd, which is always a good sign. The staff was excellent. Jake, the bartender, was a breath of fresh air--friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about every tequila on the shelf. My friends always laugh at me because when I visit fine dining restaurants, I often order something simple, like baked chicken. My reasoning is that baked chicken is the blank canvas of a chef. If a chef can't make something basic taste great, I don't have much confidence in the rest of the menu. That's exactly how I feel about tacos. Whenever I walk into a Mexican restaurant, I start with tacos--hard shell, soft shell, chicken, beef, steak, it doesn't matter. If a restaurant can't get the basics right, I don't expect much from the rest of the menu. But if the tacos are excellent, then I know I'll be back to explore everything else. Fiesta passed that test with flying colors. This is an outstanding Mexican restaurant tucked away in Norton, and if you haven't been there yet, you should put it on your list. The critic in me does have one small suggestion: the music was a little loud for lunchtime. The playlist was good, but the vibe felt more nightclub than midday lunch crowd. At 7:00 or 8:00 PM, I'd say turn it up and let the fiesta roll. But at 1:00 in the afternoon, I'd prefer something a little more mellow so the food and conversation remain the stars of the show. That minor observation aside, I honestly struggled to find anything else to critique. We'll definitely find an excuse to come back to Fiesta Mexican. With an incredible tequila selection, plenty of TVs, great service, and excellent food, this may just be a Mexican sports bar at its finest.

Today we had the opportunity to visit the Taunton location for a bereavement luncheon after a family funeral, and I was truly impressed. The luncheon was held in a beautiful private room upstairs that was set up perfectly for our gathering. Everything was elegant, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The meal was served family-style buffet, and every dish was outstanding. The quality of the food was exactly what we've come to expect from La Familia--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive to everyone's needs, yet never rushed our group. Considering the emotional circumstances of the day, their kindness and professionalism meant a lot to all of us. And I have to mention the bread--whoever makes it deserves special recognition.
