Before going, I saw a review that said this place was locally owned so when I arrived at this place, I was blown away. I appreciated the parking lot in the back, but not the walk to the side door in the cold. The decor was vibrant, colorful, and authentic, as I would expect with murals and graffiti on the walls! There was a bar with tvs for those who wanted to watch sports games and then ample seating throughout the front of the restaurant. It was also very clean, including the bathroom, which matters! I caught up with a friend here last week. Our server Owen was super nice and quick when we first arrived. My friend ordered green tea which I was surprised they had and she said it was good. I ordered a drink with coconut rum, curacao and something purple in it which tasted like koolaid and rum. To eat, we ordered chips, salsa and guacamole, mozzarella planks, and fish tacos. The guacamole and salsa were both very good and tasted fresh and authentic with a little kick. The shrimp tacos came out and it looked like my friend and I had totally different dishes, they were not good. However, I ordered fish tacos to go (pictured) and they were delicious! The ambiance was nice and they have a large bar area. Our server was disappointing and lacked people skills. The prices of the food are ridiculous..... Their Margaritas are small but cost the same as a large margarita anywhere else. Quality wise they are good but not as good as the size-price ratio. Look at the menu and notice the price for the nachos! It starts out ok but if you want sour cream that costs extra, guac costs extra, add chicken and that's extra by the time you're done with all the ads ons you end up with an average size plate of nachos that costs $28.00!! I also ordered the Carne Asada which was actually a steak with round fried potatoes. The steak was good but it's not marinated like carne asada should be... Don't do it. looks promising but.... It's not truly a Mexican restaurant...close to a college but it's dead at 9 on a Friday night. Chicken sandwich tasted like fish So they used the same fry-o-later. The steak burrito was microwaved and the nachos were salty as hell. Anddd the bartender added a trash bag without washing her hands. We were hopeful . 131 bucks later. Never again. Ohhh don't get me started with the spelling errors on the menu. Save your money. Gross! The drinks we good though, butttt expensive for just drinks. Moral of the story...just drink here or not. read more

Took my mom to Mother's Day brunch at Casa Agave. Cute vibes inside and the waitress was nice and friendly. The American breakfast was good and the French toast was ok. They have a nice variety of cocktails and specialty margs. It is a little pricy for the suburbs but overall a good experience and would recommend for brunch or dinner. read more

Anyone writing a poor review for this place is the reason Bridgewater can't have nice things. My wife and I just had two margaritas, shared three apps, an order of tacos, and a dessert all for $100. I will admit the drinks felt a bit small for the price but they tasted great. Chips were crispy and guac was fresh. The elote was cooked perfectly. The papas bravas were well seasoned if not a little dry. The brisket tacos were practically overflowing with tender, juicy meat. I'm not even a big fan of tres leches cake, but it's my wife's favorite and this one was one of the best we've had. Delicious meal, clean space, good music. Can't wait to come back and try the empanadas, pupusas, and Cuban sandwich! Glad to have a quality date spot in town! read more

Old house converted into a restaurant. This place has more drinks than food on the menu, and did not excite me. Chips and homemade salsa are $7 for a small serving, but most places it's free. My shrimp burrito was good but messy eating because it was served on a very small rectangular plate and I could not cut it. I would have preferred something more of a dinner than a sandwich but choices were few. My partner's steak quesadilla was salty tasting but ok otherwise. He was charged for each soft drink he had. Last, a runner brings out the food one dish at a time because they apparently don't have a tray! All guests at a table should be served at the same time. read more

Not the worst but not the best. Disappointing for the price of everything. Been here a few times really trying to give it a chance. Margaritas are not consistent. I almost always go for the same margarita, and I have gotten ones from here that are far too bitter, too sweet, or taste like chemicals. The food for the most part from what I have tastes good, no real complaints there. The place just isn't lively enough to keep me there, I almost always leave and go somewhere else because I feel so tired whenever I'm here. such a bummer because I had such high hopes when I first heard about this place. read more

After months of waiting, Casa Agave Cantina has finally opened. It was great to finally see inside, and I was not disappointed. It has a Mexican vibe, but without being overdone. The staff were very welcoming. They have a selection of soft tacos served on tasty tortillas. The guacamole was accompanied by sturdy tortilla chips. I had the carnitas tortilla, which were 3 small tortillas piled with tasty, shredded pork and topped with some onion and a side of salsa verde. Both the app & tacos were paired with a delicious classic margarita. The meal ended with the cinnamon sugared churros, which are made in house, that came with a chocolate dipping sauce. I am so happy to have a new place in the area with a different vibe than what is usually found here. Parking is behind the restaurant, but you have to check the signs to avoid spots reserved for tenants. read more

It's just such a bummer that this place was so disappointing. First off the menu is very small. The chips tasted like thick Fritos and the portion of them was tiny. The guac that we ordered them with though was very good. It just sucked that the chips to dip them in were so few and didn't taste good. I had the steak quesadilla which was a good portion and tasted good with lots of cheese and a very buttery tortilla, but it didn't knock my socks off. It lacked onion and pepper like the menu said it would have. The steak was good inside of it but there wasn't much in there. We loved our first trip to Casa Agave. Family of five we tried the empanadas, brisket tacos, carne asada, and the Hamburgesa Casa Agave special. Nothing but empty plates and full stomachs. I would expect to pay $14+ for a mixed drink in Boston, but not in Bridgewater. I had to laugh when I saw the $14 elote appetizer. My partner and I spent about $140 between the two of us. Everything needed salt. I do appreciate that they had a few vegan options, but did send the mushroom tacos back because the mushrooms were undercooked. I would like to come back here eventually if they are able to make their prices more appropriate for the area and work out the kinks in their product. read more
