Came in with a group of 4+ people, there's plenty of room to accommodate. Service was decent, food came out in time. I've had better meals at other chain restaurants, but this served it's purpose of basic sustenance. read more

What a delicious experience at the 99 on Sunday! I came in with my wife and friend, me specifically for the Chicken Pot Pie. This is a comfort food only on 99's menu during fall and winter, though it is so tasty it should be a regular menu item. The chicken is a grilled breast meat and there's plenty of it. Peas and carrots generously surrounded by a gravy not too salty, seasoned just right. The crust is blanketed squarely over the top. The pie is served piping hot with a soup spoon along side the knife and fork so I did not have to miss a drop of my comfy meal, sounds cliche yet it's true, like a big hug for my taste buds, mmm good. We sat at the bar and the bartender was awesome. Regretting I forgot her name. I'm not gonna wait so long to return for another chicken pot pie fro the 99... read more

The inconsistency is astounding. Dine in, the food is great. Do Takeout and the food is absolutely terrible. I wish the quality was consistent. read more

Another excellent dinner tonight at the 99 and with Scott as our server. His timing was impeccable. Not once did we need to ask for a refill on drinks, not once did he offer refills either!, He just took the innitiative and dropped them off. I really appreciate the excellence. read more

This particular 99 seems to hold their own with University Students and area residences has a nice location and easy parking. The staff is very helpful and good has been consistently good. It's nice to enjoy the bar area on a Sunday not as crowded and they have specials on appetizers and drinks! Bartenders like Erin is pleasant and engaging! Plus very attentive! It's enjoyable to dine here. read more

Awful! Do not buy . Man this dump has really fallen off , i got a chicken tender wrap and my wife chicken Caesar salad . My wrap came with maybe 2 tenders in it and tasted like it was made 5 hrs ago , and literally 10 fries . So stingy it makes 0 sense , my wife Caesar salad was frozen chicken soaked in Caesars dressing . Id rather starve than return to this dump. read more

The 99 is always a good classic week day go-to. The service has always been polite and sweet. Probably my top 3 favorite places to get takeout. The sauce portions are huge and so worth the added charge, not like other restaurants where they charge you $1.50 and give you not enough ranch for 3 bites. This 99 does it right! read more

WHAT A RIP OFF. $15 for fish and chips the fish was the size of 2 chicken nuggets mostly batter and the fries were not cooked well and limp. So disappointed. Don't take a family it will cost you a fortune for inferior food. read more

I've been coming here for almost 3 years now so I'm a regular. The food is so good tonight I had T-Bone steak for the 1st time and it was delicious. Went in with Dad and my son last week for dinner... It was a nice night and the Sox won (Shocking for this years record) so Kids eat free... Dad knows the Mgr so he came out & sat with us for a while, he was a nice guy! Food was as all 99's are... Our server was nice & efficient, considering I had to keep bugging her because my son wanted 17 bowls of wheat thins... All in all a good stop, was dead at like 530ish when we got there, but was filling up fast! read more

It's constantly good service and decent food at a reasonable price. All good for families, couples or singles

Not generally a fan of the 99, but went in to this one since they were still serving after 10 on a Friday night. Pleasant, helpful waitress (Sam) provided quick service. We ordered fish tacos which were 3 well filled soft tacos with a citric rice to fill up the plate. Guacamole and sour cream on the side. $9.99 Also boneless buffalo strips from the appetizer menu which with the celery sticks was a meal in itself. $9.99 Key lime pie at the end looked interesting but was quite awful and not eaten. Pleasant enough experience to possibly return again. read more

Me and my wife go to 99 in Bridgewater for drinks and appetizers we order our drinks and ask for nachos to start. Bartender comes back and she says we do not serve nachos on fridays?? Ok! So we ask if the potato skins are gluten free She comes back and says no they are not gf so we ask what is gluten free She come backs and say nothing is gluten free besides the lettuce wedge First you would think she would know about allergies And second they should have a menu with it on there So we thought let's start a new tread going out on a Friday night for drinks and lettuce !! Wtf So after we declined the head of lettuce she proceeded to say we can only have one drink because we did not order any food!! Again we can only have one drink because you have no food for us to eat Needless to say we will never go back to a 99 read more

This location was always a great go-to for good food done right and on time. Unfortunately the last 4 times, Including twice before COVID, have been less than we hoped for. I was disappointed with my visit. I ordered the sirloin and scallop special. The crumb topping on the scallops was burned and the scallops were dry and pretty tasteless. The sirloin was cooked reasonably well, but it was a cheap cut of fibrous meat. Service was so-so. When we ordered dessert, the waitress came back with the news that they only had one dessert left of the kind wanted. We agreed to the one. Shortly thereafter, the manager came over and told us that the one dessert ordered was not available. They had run out. To be fair, the waitress and the manager did what they could and took the price of my meal off the final bill. The manager also sent over a couple of deserts. They tried to make it right. The venue is pleasant, the staff tried, but I will stick to hamburgers and chicken wings from now on. I have never been disappointed in those menu choices. read more

First time at this chain. I was craving a hamburger after shopping all morning and saw this place in the plaza and decided to try it out. Lots of parking since it's in a plaza. The staff were super friendly. The service was great. Fast and friendly. The food we ordered was pretty good. My burger was a bit chard around the edges but I was starving and ate it anyways. The chicken pot pie was piping hot and tasty. Really nice comfort food. It's a sports bar with TV's all around to watch. Would be a fun place to watch a game with friends. read more

Back again, Took our dad out for dinner, 11/7/17 I would have probably have chosen prime rib again but not available on Tuesday. Regardless we all Chicken with Biscuits and Gravy. The food was once again outstanding. The amply portioned piece of chicken had a delightful flavor the southern style gravy, was thick and tasted outstanding, with sides of corn and mashed potatoes, it was a well portioned, very well presented meal. Our drawback was the service, on this occasion the server, ( forgot his name ) was far less than flawless. My dad ordered unsweetened tea, that was fairly easy, My wife asked for Sweet tea, He failed to mention it was not just tea but a mixture, my coffee tasted a bit old, and not freshly hot. He asked if we would like popcorn, then forgot to bring it till he walked by and we asked again. We had to ask for refills, rather than being noticed. , It was not horrid service, I do not want to say that, it was just inattentive. The food, the atmosphere, still outstanding, The drop of a star is because good service, counts to me, I have spent that last 20 years in the service industry. High end hotels in Boston. I notice. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the menu options, prices and quality of the food. I live out of state and have not been to a 99 in over 20 years. The scallops and prime rib dishes are very good. Decent size portions. Service was pleasant and excellent. French onion soup was surprisingly good. Did not like the chicken on the Mac and cheese. That was only negative. Overall it was a excellent choice. I would definitely try again. read more

I got a 20 dollar fish plate, it's new on the menu, it's called the sweet potato encrusted haddock..... wow... it was not only COLD, but also UNDER cooked. I felt sick. The manager came around and asked if I didn't like it with a big smirk on her face, as if she knew it wasn't fully cooked. I said nah, it's cool, and I took it to go. When I got home, I threw it in the trash. Friendly wait staff, clean establishment, horrible cook. I would rather have had a can of tuna and I will not go to this restaurant again. I am not a snobby eater, I just don't recommend this place at all. DO NOT EAT HERE. Gross. Good luck. read more

Again if I could give zero I would . Service very bad. I come in no one to seat you. Bartender ignoring me just talking for 5 mins. Finally comes over very rude. Would avoid food at best average. If you have to deal with rude food better be good which it is a f you like frozen. read more

The place is clean, friendly atmosphere, wide variety of food and AMAZING margaritas. They do pick-up orders which I do often because I live up the street. I've never had a problem here, the only reason I have 4 stars is because they're buffalo tenders aren't very good (which is my favorite food). They are just shaped oddly and kind of dry. The ninety nine left me quiet disappointed, especially compared to the Boston Tavern which isn't far away. The wait staff is friendly, and that's probably what saved it from getting 1-star. We got boneless wings and potato skins as appetizers, which were surprising not half bad. The entree however. I got the St. Louis ribs. AWFUL. The meat was very tough, and fatty, It was practically inedible. I'm not sure how the other food is here, but very disappointed with my meal to say the least. Prices were just OK. Go to the Boston tavern for better food. read more

Will never return to Bridgewater 99. Not honest. Just wanted a bigger tip because it was a shift change and they probably had to split the tip, so sent the manager running out saying we didn't leave enough because one of the gift cards had nothing on it. (Don't believe her) so apologized and asked how much and she throws out $10. More. No way was that bill what she said it was. I saw the bill, I know the prices, and the tip was over 20% we left. I am so mad, especially at myself for just giving in. Never again. read more

We do visit this local chain often as usually it's a convenient and quick stop. This is not the case this week as they had us wait 20 minutes with our curbside takeout as they lost our credit card. Yup. The kicker is they gave it to another customer who drove off and hadn't noticed. Then they didn't seem to care that they breached our credit and now our dinner was cold. Customer, thankfully, on his own accord drove back with card. No Management apologies. Now we have to cancel our bank card. First time in my life we didn't tip. Food was as I said cold by the time I got home to serve family. So rating is less than 1 star. Probably would go back if manager seemed like they cared. This was not the case. Check your credit cards. Thanks to the good samaritan for coming back. read more

Portions are on t he smaller size but they are filling. The food is very good I have never had anything I didn't like from this place. The staff is be off or on depending on the person. I'm in grad school at Bridgewater State and frequent this establishment with other grad students after class. We always sit at the bar and the service is always fast and friendly. The drinks are strong and the bartenders are always willing to make recommendations. The food is decent, but nothing extraordinary however the popcorn that they give you to snack on is a nice touch. The decor is typical of a chain restaurant, nothing too fancy or run down. read more

The worst experience ever. The food is less then mediocre. Its a chain restaurant... But it was either bland or burnt. The wings were okay but just to let everyone know the wings and chicken tenders are the SAME. The server was awful. Well ours was awful. All the other waitress were fine and attentive to all customers. I regret not getting her name since i dont thin other servers should get bad reviews. From out appetizer to meal had to wait while other tables who came later were getting the food. Had to wait over 15minutes just to get our payment processed and not by ours but the manager.
