-Rude,-Customer Service I ordered chilaquiles for myself and Huevos Rancheros for my little girl, expecting the traditional tomato-based Ranchera sauce, Instead it served with green spicy sauce. When I asked to exchange it because it was too spicy, and not traditional Ranchera red tomato sauce the staff was very rude and argumentative. I wouldn't have ordered it if I'd known it Huevos with green sauce, which I told them! The outside patio tables are not kept clean and has many flies because of it being dirty. This is a pretty good taco spot with decent prices! You order from the window, and the patio has some seating. I got 3 tacos - fish taco, al pastor, and carne asada. I really liked the fish taco, the fish was big and had great toppings. The Al pastor and carne asada tacos were good too, but could have been a little more flavorful. I used a decent amount of salsa to give it some spice. Overall the menu is priced really well. The tacos are good (especially the fish taco) but not necessarily the best I've had. I've driven by several times and saw they boasted about their chillaquilles. I was intrigued so, I stopped in one morning and ordered the steak chillaquilles. Total was 25 something. I parked the next street over because parking is tricky. My food was hot and pretty tasty. I wouldn't call them the best I've ever had. Steak was chewy. It was just okay. I went again a couple days ago to try something different. I got the chicken crunchy tacos with rice and beans. Chicken was dry and dry and very underseasoned. It did not taste fresh. Tacos Delta has good tacos and other dishes. It may not be as good as your favorite taco stand, and is definitely more expensive, but it has an extensive menu which you can't find at a lot of Mexican places, especially one as convenient and casual. I'll definitely be back to try the different unique items on their menu. read more

I've been wanting to try this spot out for quite some time as I've heard their chilaquiles are great. Let me tell you this place did not disappoint. I ordered the chilaquiles burrito and a plate of the chilaquiles and both of them were amazing the chilaquiles were still crunchy by the time I got home and the flavor was so good I wanted another plate. The staff was kind and spoke both English and Spanish, they offered extra sauces and chilis for the food which I absolutely said yes to. They have outdoor seating and a good amount of tables, parking is a bit small but big enough for the size of the restaurant. The one and only small downside I would say is that there is no restroom. Aside from that everything is great! If you're in Silver Lake make sure you stop by! read more

I go there every week. Family owned for 45+ years, and about the only good, affordable spot left in the Junction that isn't more pizza and vegan. Huge menu. Hard-to-find hard shell tacos. I was so impressed. In L.A if you want really good Spanish grub you usually go to a street stand. But I wanted potato tacos. Not only did they have exactly what I wanted but it was so damn good. I had the chicken and potato taco plate. So bomb especially the potato taco. I feel like the connection between owner and customer has really shrunken these days. But the boss man here was such a cool guy and even gave me a sample of the chilaquiles. Not only was that super cool but it might be the best I have ever had! The sign doesn't lie it's the best in town! This will be my new go to when I'm in the silver lake area. Also! They have parking. To find a place that has parking off of sunset is rare. There's also only one window to order and pick up, which makes the line really long. Prices are average, maybe slightly higher than other places, but not outrageous. The torta I had was pretty bland, and the green salsa didn't do much to improve it. This was my first time trying this spot, and the worst part was I placed a phone order hoping to skip the line since I was at work and needed lunch. Instead, I still had to wait in that long line and wait for everyone else to pick up their orders before I got mine. Definitely didn't get to enjoy my food right away. This place is one of the best seafood tacos I've been to within a good price range that is not a taco truck. I got two shrimp tacos and it was perfect, with a good amount of cabbage, salsa, and lime wedge. It was cooked to order and the burst of flavor was like you're on the beaches of Baja California. They also give you two bottles of salsa on your table in case you need that extra kick, which I'm so thankful for. The ceviche was so fresh, I couldn't stop eating. It's citrusy just enough without causing your entire mouth to shrivel. Tasted super clean and fresh - It's always a good sign when you don't have the runs after eating ceviche. The kitchen staff were so nice, and the man serving food was so attentive. The seating area is completely outdoors but they've decorated it so nicely, it's like you're sitting in the wilderness. This place is a solid spot! We came for breakfast burritos after a walk at the Silver Lake Reservoir. My fiance got the chorizo and it was packed with flavor. I got the bacon and potato one. To save some carbs I asked for no rice and it wax still very good. This place does have a little seating area. Got sauces were at the tables which I appreciated. I got the 2 fish taco special - they ask if you want chipotle or sour cream as a sauce - definitely go with chipotle for a subtle kick. The tacos are really generously-sized and along with the fantastic beans and rice it's a very filling lunch. My partner got the shrimp burrito and while it was okay, we both greatly preferred the fish tacos. We got the Jamaica and horchata drinks as well and they were okay. At around 1pm there was a couple people in front of us but it was quite busy and it took maybe 20 minutes to get our to-go order. I've been here plenty of times for breakfast. Their chilaquiles never ever disappoint! The salsa is delicious, and the portion is very generous. The food is extremely authentic. Today I ordered lunch and chose the hard taco and enchilada plate. The chicken in the enchilada was tender and flavorful; the potato taco was overfilled in the best way with potato, lettuce, cheese, and guacamole salsa. Although the rice and beans look basic they are also delicious and complete the whole meal. I didn't get any this time but their horchata is also a favorite of mine. Not overly sweet and the perfect amount of cinnamon. If you go in person just keep in mind that parking is very very difficult but worth it for sure! read more

I ordered the chile rellenos burrito and my boyfriend got the fried shrimp burrito. He loved his shrimp burrito but my chile rellenos burrito was awful. I love chile rellenos and I've ordered the combo plate with chile rellenos before and it was delicious, but that was years ago. This Chile rellenos burrito had no cheese in the chile and it was not dipped in batter and fried, the way a chile rellenos is supposed to be. It was a burrito with rice and other normal stuff you find in a burrito (but no cheese at all). It had a very hot (spicy) green chile in it. It was so hot i wouldn't have been able to eat it even if it hadn't had a horrible sour taste to it. I asked my boyfriend to take a bite and he agreed, it had a weird sour taste to it and was too hot to eat. I ordered this meal through DoorDash and was refunded the price of my burrito. I used to eat at Tacos Delta all the time. Obviously the cook they had last night (07/01/26) had no idea how to makes Chile rellenos. Very disappointing. read more
