This is a pretty good taco spot with decent prices! You order from the window, and the patio has some seating. I got 3 tacos - fish taco, al pastor, and carne asada. I really liked the fish taco, the fish was big and had great toppings. The Al pastor and carne asada tacos were good too, but could have been a little more flavorful. I used a decent amount of salsa to give it some spice. Overall the menu is priced really well. The tacos are good (especially the fish taco) but not necessarily the best I've had. But still a good taco spot in Silverlake! read more

I've driven by several times and saw they boasted about their chillaquilles. I was intrigued so, I stopped in one morning and ordered the steak chillaquilles. Total was 25 something. I parked the next street over because parking is tricky. My food was hot and pretty tasty. I wouldn't call them the best I've ever had. Steak was chewy. It was just okay. I went again a couple days ago to try something different. I got the chicken crunchy tacos with rice and beans. Chicken was dry and dry and very underseasoned. It did not taste fresh. I was not impressed and my total was 20 something again. I am seeing a theme. Overpriced and sorta okay food. read more

If you want good tacos, don't go to the fancy restaurants that'll charge you $25 a plate. Or the restaurant that serves absurd dishes like bulgogi tacos or pulled pork barbecue burritos. You don't need any of that nonsense. Go to the humble roadside establishments - that's where you'll find the good stuff. Tacos Delta is a kiosk with an order window and a few outdoor tables. Simplicity is what makes the food here so good. Sure, the tacos taste wonderful when you slather it with green sauce and squeeze over a slice of lime, but the meat and tortillas already speak for themselves. You don't have to dress them all up to enjoy them. And if you're not feeling tacos, you can order other dishes, too. The menu here is extensive, and I'm sure you'll find something that satisfies your cravings. read more

Tacos Delta has good tacos and other dishes. It may not be as good as your favorite taco stand, and is definitely more expensive, but it has an extensive menu which you can't find at a lot of Mexican places, especially one as convenient and casual. I'll definitely be back to try the different unique items on their menu. read more

When your out of state nephew comes for a visit and asks for a California Burrito, you go on the hunt for the best. Even though we live in Santa Clarita, I knew that we had to go to Los Angeles to find the best. Let me tell you, Tacos Delta did NOT disappoint. Not only was the food superb, the service by Sergio was the best we had in a long time. Sergio brought our food out in a timely manner and then brought us Chilaquiles to try. Absolutely phenomenal to where my 9 year old exclaimed "This is the best food ever!". Thank you Sergio for sending my nephew out with a full belly and a happy heart. I plan on visiting every time I'm in LA from here on out. read more

I go there every week. Family owned for 45+ years, and about the only good, affordable spot left in the Junction that isn't more pizza and vegan. Huge menu. Hard-to-find hard shell tacos. Its fun to people-watch while waiting, in one of the last holdouts against gentrified franchise frou-frou in the area. read more

I've been wanting to try this spot out for quite some time as I've heard their chilaquiles are great. Let me tell you this place did not disappoint. I ordered the chilaquiles burrito and a plate of the chilaquiles and both of them were amazing the chilaquiles were still crunchy by the time I got home and the flavor was so good I wanted another plate. The staff was kind and spoke both English and Spanish, they offered extra sauces and chilis for the food which I absolutely said yes to. They have outdoor seating and a good amount of tables, parking is a bit small but big enough for the size of the restaurant. The one and only small downside I would say is that there is no restroom. Aside from that everything is great! If you're in Silver Lake make sure you stop by! read more

Tacos Delta claims they have the best chilaquiles in town right on the sign on the building. Obviously that's what i was going to order and judge for myself. I got the chilaquiles with a fried egg (runny yolk obviously.) The chips were so crispy even though they are slathered in delicious sauces and the hot sauce that they come with is wonderful. They're not lying - these are some serious chilaquiles. Best in town? Probably. read more

I was so impressed. In L.A if you want really good Spanish grub you usually go to a street stand. But I wanted potato tacos. Not only did they have exactly what I wanted but it was so damn good. I had the chicken and potato taco plate. So bomb especially the potato taco. I feel like the connection between owner and customer has really shrunken these days. But the boss man here was such a cool guy and even gave me a sample of the chilaquiles. Not only was that super cool but it might be the best I have ever had! The sign doesn't lie it's the best in town! This will be my new go to when I'm in the silver lake area. Also! They have parking. To find a place that has parking off of sunset is rare. This place was great in every thing I could want. I couldn't recommend more! read more

Driven by this place for years and finally tried their chilaquiles. Ordered the green with onions, cilantro and sunny side up eggs. The green sauce was delicious, crispy tortilla chips and the rice -beans a great compliment. Egg was perfectly cooked with a runny yolk, spreading through the chips. Friendly service and they are quick. I'm observing the table next to us, it was quiet as they were all digging into burritos. All four, silent devouring their burritos. Will try that next time. Picnic area outside, great during our warm days. Parking is difficult to find. read more

It's okay, just okay. A lot of hype, but honestly, it's pretty mediocre. The parking lot is tiny; only about four to six cars can park comfortably before others start blocking you in. There's also only one window to order and pick up, which makes the line really long. Prices are average, maybe slightly higher than other places, but not outrageous. The torta I had was pretty bland, and the green salsa didn't do much to improve it. This was my first time trying this spot, and the worst part was I placed a phone order hoping to skip the line since I was at work and needed lunch. Instead, I still had to wait in that long line and wait for everyone else to pick up their orders before I got mine. Definitely didn't get to enjoy my food right away. I think I'll just stick to McDonald's down the street for lunch next time. read more

This place is one of the best seafood tacos I've been to within a good price range that is not a taco truck. I got two shrimp tacos and it was perfect, with a good amount of cabbage, salsa, and lime wedge. It was cooked to order and the burst of flavor was like you're on the beaches of Baja California. They also give you two bottles of salsa on your table in case you need that extra kick, which I'm so thankful for. The ceviche was so fresh, I couldn't stop eating. It's citrusy just enough without causing your entire mouth to shrivel. Tasted super clean and fresh - It's always a good sign when you don't have the runs after eating ceviche. The kitchen staff were so nice, and the man serving food was so attentive. The seating area is completely outdoors but they've decorated it so nicely, it's like you're sitting in the wilderness. They have limited free parking next to the storefront, but you may have to double park. Or else you have the option to find metered street parking. Will definitely be coming back! read more

This place is a solid spot! We came for breakfast burritos after a walk at the Silver Lake Reservoir. My fiance got the chorizo and it was packed with flavor. I got the bacon and potato one. To save some carbs I asked for no rice and it wax still very good. This place does have a little seating area. Got sauces were at the tables which I appreciated. They were also very sweet and offered us a soda refill and water. I'd love to come back and try their tacos. I would definitely recommend for the breakfast burritos. read more

Tacos Delta is one of Silver Lake's small business taco Window-stand that serve eatery offering tacos, burritos & more for takeout, with covered outdoor seating. Its colorful and vibrant outdoor patio is very relaxing and an eye catcher. Their parking is very small but there is street parking available. Prices seem economically reasonable, and service is on point. It's my first time trying this Taco Window Shop after passing by it for almost a decade. I had their fish tacos x chipotle sauce. Fantastic breakfast burritos at reasonable price! Came here around brunch time on a Sunday and there was a decent sized line. I would definitely recommend coming here earlier or ordering ahead. But, it's TOTALLY worth the wait! They have a super extensive menu to satisfy anyone's craving. The vegetarian breakfast burrito was really good and had delicious fresh salsa paired with them. 10/10 recommend if in the area! read more

The chile verde and carnitas were on our menu tonight. Each dish was packed with flavor, tender and delicious. Service was fast and one of the family member who owns Taco Delta even went out of his way to chat with the Mrs. and I. The area is situated in a great neighborhood in Silver lake on Sunset with a bohemian feel to the area! Prices are fair and worth it! I was visiting LA and staying in the Silver Lake neighborhood and looking for something quick and delicious to eat for lunch. Tacos Delta exceeded my expectations! I got the 2 fish taco special - they ask if you want chipotle or sour cream as a sauce - definitely go with chipotle for a subtle kick. The tacos are really generously-sized and along with the fantastic beans and rice it's a very filling lunch. My partner got the shrimp burrito and while it was okay, we both greatly preferred the fish tacos. We got the Jamaica and horchata drinks as well and they were okay. At around 1pm there was a couple people in front of us but it was quite busy and it took maybe 20 minutes to get our to-go order. There is a lot of covered outdoor seating if you want to eat there! read more

Good food and they bring it out to you at the patio. Dog friendly. Parking is very limited and you might be blocked in if you park against the wall. Service isn't quick because they make it fresh. The absolute BEST chicken taco! I opted for the hard shell. Not your average store bought corn shell. Instead, a fresh made-to-order shell, crispy at every delicious bite. I have never tasted anything like it, and I have eaten a lot of tacos in my lifetime. The prices are fair considering our current economy where you cannot get a meal for less than $20. I've been here plenty of times for breakfast. Their chilaquiles never ever disappoint! The salsa is delicious, and the portion is very generous. The food is extremely authentic. Today I ordered lunch and chose the hard taco and enchilada plate. The chicken in the enchilada was tender and flavorful; the potato taco was overfilled in the best way with potato, lettuce, cheese, and guacamole salsa. Although the rice and beans look basic they are also delicious and complete the whole meal. I didn't get any this time but their horchata is also a favorite of mine. Not overly sweet and the perfect amount of cinnamon. If you go in person just keep in mind that parking is very very difficult but worth it for sure! read more

Was in the area and decided to try this place out. I got the hard shell potato taco and shrimp taco combo with beans and rice. The shrimp taco was delicious with the chipotle crema and the potato taco was huge and delicious. The outdoor seating patio was so pretty and the service was good. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area. read more

Although the parking isn't ideal, the busy-ness of their lot is a testament to how good their food is. I've tried tacos delta twice now, I got a fish taco combo plate once & a breakfast burrito the second time. The food is so good, so filling, and of course the most important part -- the salsa is amazing, particularly the green one. Can't wait to try something new next time. read more

Customer service is TERRIBLE, had an issue with DoorDash and the restaurant called me instead harassing me about the issue, I call DoorDash and they say I'm right the whole time and fixed the issue. 1 star simply because it is cute place with free customer parking, and quick service but patio area had way too many flies and the shredded chicken in my nachos was puréed to a point it was liquified and it was also extremely bland similar to the beans. Everything was a pretty watery consistency and requires a mix of both free salsas and steer clear of the liquid guacamole with no flavor. Definitely one of the top worst dishes I ever had a restaurant. read more

You'll find all your favorites here from hard shell tacos to enchiladas, mole, burritos, as well as their amazing chilaquiles. Everything is pretty solid here, and you can't beat the prices -- this spot is an amazing value. My favorites here are the hard shell chicken tacos (definitely get the Red Salsa), and a side of beans -- you can't go wrong. Wait time is minimal, and this spot gets extra points for their mini parking lot which makes picking up take-out really easy. read more

They offer a "Mini" version which would be satisfactory for one person. My favorite thing about these burritos is how "home-made" they are, the salsas and meats are fresh and taste like they came out of an abuelitas kitchen. I still need to try the crunchy tacos and nachos which look great, I recommend trying this classic establishment at least once if you're in the area.
