This place right here homie..This place right here! Slammin'! Tip Top tortilla food..be there or be square..well, at least taco shape.. The service was stellar. Beautiful spot to kick back and enjoy a delightful place to taco it out..and don't forget to try their agua flesca. Since there was only one person working who did both the cashier and cooking, it took awhile to get service because he was hanging out in the back rather than waiting in the front. Upon deciding what we wanted, he informed us that they were out of 3 different meat options; two of those options were things that my crony and I wanted. Due to that, I got a flight of 3 ground beef tacos and a carne asada quesadilla. The menu says that the flights come with 3 tacos but one of those only comes with 2 tacos instead. Overall, the food was average and nothing special. OUr bill for 3 came out to $63.91.

3.5/5 stars for food. The owner (?) was very pleasant. Four tables to dine in at/casual ambience. Worth a try! They had a grand opening sign when I went in early 12/2022 and Yelp showed 15% off for dine in, which the owner redeemed after I showed him my check in. 3 tacos nopales - $8 + tasty nopal - smaller servings - can't mix and match between 3 taco sets Chili Colorado burrito (special menu) + tasty pork in a chili de árbol sauce - pretty salty pork marinade - black refried beans and cheese, no veggies so the bites were dry Chicken quesadilla + generous serving of asadero cheese, sometimes too cheesy relative to chicken +/- interesting flavor on chicken, not bad tasting, but more of an acidic/tangy flavor than a smoky flavor which I would've preferred Fire roasted elote in a cup + toasty corn from the cob, not the can - interesting flavor, pretty strong lime and Tajin flavor which was stronger than the corn - pretty watery/soupy, not sure where this extra water came from Salsas +/- housemade green sauce: tomatillos were distinctly fruity but overall subtle flavor profile +/- housemade red sauce: chili de árbol flavor was nice and toasty but ... the flavor ended too quickly? Perhaps if it had more citrus to carry the flavor +/- red sauce from Mexico - strong vinegar flavor like a Tabasco + I liked the mixture of two sauces, surprisingly the green and non-housemade red sauce which gave a nice acidity and spice

Tacos Chisco is a casual small taco restaurant located in North Phoenix. They are open seven days a week and offer breakfast, tacos, bowls, salads, elote, burritos, quesadillas, kid's meals, soft beverages, aguas frescas, margaritas, paletas and more. They have around five indoor tables and one table outside. They just opened this week and I feel Yelp should add a just opening alternative rating. We tried a variety of tacos and none were bad.......All were good but some were better than others (asada, carnitas, pibil, pollo). Both of us thought that the chicken tacos was the best of what we tried because it was the most flavorful and delicious. The people there were extra nice and the restaurant seemed sparkling clean. Prices seemed reasonable and portions seemed good. 3 stars is a positive rating on Yelp and translates to A-OK. 3.5 stars

These were my dry carne asada and bean/cheese taco. Disappointed.

This place was a huge disappointment. They took so long to make our order that it was closing time when we got it (so almost a 35 minute wait for 5 small tacos, which means we had to take it to-go and I couldn't talk to anyone about how bad the food was). I got a carne asada taco and a bean and cheese taco (pictured) and this is what I got. The carne asada taco had nothing on it. I did ask for no cilantro, but I kept everything else. It was dry and didn't taste good. The bean one tasted a bit bitter. My husband had a nopales taco and I had a bite and it was gross. Overly slimy (I know cactus has a slimy texture, but I've had it before and this was one really really slimy). We ordered a tres leches for dessert (pictured) and I have no idea what we were given. It was super dry, no milk sauce at all (I'm Hispanic, and I know a real tres leches should be swimming in that sauce). Finally they charged us for a fountain drink knowing that it was broken. If we knew we weren't going to be able to eat there, we would have waited for drinks until we got home. There is no way I'll come back here.

Small joint we stopped to get some tacos at. I saw another review from another Yelper and decided to go here. Greeted immediately upon entering. Tacos were made to order. They was really good. They were not stingy with them, at all. Mine were a bit on the messy side and were falling everywhere. But I still ate everything lol. I would suggest stopping by.

Great Taco Shop This was our first visit to Tacos Chisco. The staff are very welcoming and accomdating, the restaurant is clean, and the tacos are amazing. The food is fresh, made to order, and cooked right in front of you. On this visit we ordered, chicken burrito, Cochinita Pibil (shredded pork) tacos, carne asada tacos, and elote. Everything was delicious. The meats were tender, moist and flavorful and the salsa was a perfect compliment. Staff was professional, service was exceptional, prices are reasonable and food is amazing. Can't recommend this place enough. Stop in you won't be disappointed.

This is the best taco place I have found so far in the upper west side of Phoenix (Glendale/Peoria/North Phoenix). When i say that, I am speaking primarily of the Cochinita Pibil tacos. That is all there needs to be on this menu. They are SO good! The flavors are immense, and the guac sauce, the red onion and a litlte bit of habanero slivers is amazing on top! Shoot some lime on it, and it is simply the best I've had around. I think these Chochinita Pibil tacos are better than Barrio Cafe and Barrio Queen. On top of the best CP tacos around, the owner and his son are super nice and personable.

I ordered the nopal bowl, al pastor tacos and a cochinita pibil taco. At first they accidentally gave us nopal tacos but they took them back and fixed it even without a receipt!! I would've understood it they didn't but getting to get my tacos made me very happy :) It was a very nice little place and I'm so glad to see someone selling nopales! Randomly found this taco shop on yelp. I live far away , however Immediately the photos of the shrimp tacos lured me in, so on my first day off in awhile I had to come check it out. OBSESSED doesn't begin to cover it. Hubby and I are taco fanatics. We have tried other local taco shops and have not been impressed. Hubby picked up and brought home carnitas, chicken, and shrimp tacos for us try. Carnitas were melt-in-your-mouth delicious and the chicken and shrimp were excellent as well. Green sauce with carnitas and red with chicken. Just do it. read more

Just tried them had the chicken tacos. The meat was cooked to order on the spot and was perfect. Both tender and beautifully seasoned chicken breast on soft corn tortillas with cilantro and onions. Their homemade green salsa is excellent also! It was also large enough that I couldn't finish it and then taking one taco home OK for later! read more

Smells funny when you walk in, but the staff is friendly. One thing I didn't like was the menu says Churros but you only get one; it doesn't say Churro, it says Churros meaning more than one. Also, the brown filling makes it kind of dry. It would have been better with a dipping sauce. The carne asada bowl is pretty good, but the veggies are oily. Overall, it's not bad just wouldn't recommend eating inside. read more

First and last visit, they don't give receipts and add extra charges. I paid $6 above what I should have. Shame on me for not gabbing that receipt. Don't make the same mistake I did. Even still it's way over priced for what it you get. I won't be coming back. read more

This place was some of the best tacos i have ever had and you should definitely take time to come here to try some of the best tacos in the U.S. And not only did they have great tacos they had amazing burritos, quesodilla's and a lot more. There horchata was top notch and amazing too. The customer service was fabulous and they were very kind and appreciative to our big group. Over all the best restaurant that i have been to in a long time and my whole trip to Arizona. read more

I tried this place tonight and it did not disappoint! I went with the carne asada fajita bowl and it was delicious - the best part was the fajita veggies! I've never had better fajita veggies. I ordered through Uber eats. The restaurant is not in charge of the drivers so can't speak or lower stars based on the length of time it took. However when I received my food it was amazing ! We ordered a burrito which was great size and not lacking meat etc and allows you to customize. Also ordered chicken (3) and steak (3) tacos and didn't disappoint. I also ordered the elote and found it delicious! I will order again ! read more

There are a few reasons I am only giving it ONE star. There was ONE employee, who was cooking, taking orders, wearing the same gloves he's cooking with, and then forgetting parts of my order. The soda machine.... All the sodas were flat no soda worked. No iced tea. Only beverages were the horchata of what was left and bottled soda. The Al pastor tacos lack flavor and had very very small amounts of pineapple. The gauc salsa on top was ok but you can tell it was days old from the color. You can tell when it's fresh. I will say the one good thing was even though it was one employee he was nice and he did the best he could. But the food was not good enough for me to say I'd return, if you're going to be open please make sure everything works, you are supplied with drinks, and it doesn't look like you are on your last leg/taste like it too. The trio dip was not worth it at all..... warmed up black beans with cheese that firms up quickly and some bland pico. I'm sorry I take pride in Hispanic food but just disappointed. read more

Went here for first time last night. The Carne asada tacos were freshly made when we ordered them and so tasty. The elote corn as a side was also tasty. Loved the green sauce! Super friendly employees and really clean inside. Only thing I wished they had was chips and salsa. Will be back again! Go and try you will love. read more

This family owned restaurant is by far the best Mexican food I have had in Arizona. I had the fajita bowl with carnitas, and the carnitas was incredibly tasty. The workers are very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely become a regular here! read more

We came in for the first time and got the carnitas tacos and the cochinita pibil tacos. Oh my gosh they were absolutely amazing. I will definitely be coming back. Next time I will get more of the cochinita pibil tacos they were amazing I have never had anything like them before. And the customer service was beyond excellent. Hey foodies, we trusted the reviews and the 4.5 star rating. I'm not sure who the other .5 people are, but this place is incredible!! All fresh made with delicious margaritas and a Taco Tuesday and happy hour. Yowza--can't wait to return! AND you absolutely need to get the cochinitas!!! I'm picky--these were the best tacos EVER. Stuffed with meat and all the perfect toppings.
