This place right here homie..This place right here! Slammin'! Tip Top tortilla food..be there or be square..well, at least taco shape.. The service was stellar. Beautiful spot to kick back and enjoy a delightful place to taco it out..and don't forget to try their agua flesca. Since there was only one person working who did both the cashier and cooking, it took awhile to get service because he was hanging out in the back rather than waiting in the front. Upon deciding what we wanted, he informed us that they were out of 3 different meat options; two of those options were things that my crony and I wanted. Due to that, I got a flight of 3 ground beef tacos and a carne asada quesadilla. The menu says that the flights come with 3 tacos but one of those only comes with 2 tacos instead. Overall, the food was average and nothing special. OUr bill for 3 came out to $63.91.

3.5/5 stars for food. The owner (?) was very pleasant. Four tables to dine in at/casual ambience. Worth a try! They had a grand opening sign when I went in early 12/2022 and Yelp showed 15% off for dine in, which the owner redeemed after I showed him my check in. 3 tacos nopales - $8 + tasty nopal - smaller servings - can't mix and match between 3 taco sets Chili Colorado burrito (special menu) + tasty pork in a chili de árbol sauce - pretty salty pork marinade - black refried beans and cheese, no veggies so the bites were dry Chicken quesadilla + generous serving of asadero cheese, sometimes too cheesy relative to chicken +/- interesting flavor on chicken, not bad tasting, but more of an acidic/tangy flavor than a smoky flavor which I would've preferred Fire roasted elote in a cup + toasty corn from the cob, not the can - interesting flavor, pretty strong lime and Tajin flavor which was stronger than the corn - pretty watery/soupy, not sure where this extra water came from Salsas +/- housemade green sauce: tomatillos were distinctly fruity but overall subtle flavor profile +/- housemade red sauce: chili de árbol flavor was nice and toasty but ... the flavor ended too quickly? Perhaps if it had more citrus to carry the flavor +/- red sauce from Mexico - strong vinegar flavor like a Tabasco + I liked the mixture of two sauces, surprisingly the green and non-housemade red sauce which gave a nice acidity and spice

Tacos Chisco is a casual small taco restaurant located in North Phoenix. They are open seven days a week and offer breakfast, tacos, bowls, salads, elote, burritos, quesadillas, kid's meals, soft beverages, aguas frescas, margaritas, paletas and more. They have around five indoor tables and one table outside. They just opened this week and I feel Yelp should add a just opening alternative rating. We tried a variety of tacos and none were bad.......All were good but some were better than others (asada, carnitas, pibil, pollo). Both of us thought that the chicken tacos was the best of what we tried because it was the most flavorful and delicious. The people there were extra nice and the restaurant seemed sparkling clean. Prices seemed reasonable and portions seemed good. 3 stars is a positive rating on Yelp and translates to A-OK. 3.5 stars

These were my dry carne asada and bean/cheese taco. Disappointed.

This place was a huge disappointment. They took so long to make our order that it was closing time when we got it (so almost a 35 minute wait for 5 small tacos, which means we had to take it to-go and I couldn't talk to anyone about how bad the food was). I got a carne asada taco and a bean and cheese taco (pictured) and this is what I got. The carne asada taco had nothing on it. I did ask for no cilantro, but I kept everything else. It was dry and didn't taste good. The bean one tasted a bit bitter. My husband had a nopales taco and I had a bite and it was gross. Overly slimy (I know cactus has a slimy texture, but I've had it before and this was one really really slimy). We ordered a tres leches for dessert (pictured) and I have no idea what we were given. It was super dry, no milk sauce at all (I'm Hispanic, and I know a real tres leches should be swimming in that sauce). Finally they charged us for a fountain drink knowing that it was broken. If we knew we weren't going to be able to eat there, we would have waited for drinks until we got home. There is no way I'll come back here.

Small joint we stopped to get some tacos at. I saw another review from another Yelper and decided to go here. Greeted immediately upon entering. Tacos were made to order. They was really good. They were not stingy with them, at all. Mine were a bit on the messy side and were falling everywhere. But I still ate everything lol. I would suggest stopping by.

Great Taco Shop This was our first visit to Tacos Chisco. The staff are very welcoming and accomdating, the restaurant is clean, and the tacos are amazing. The food is fresh, made to order, and cooked right in front of you. On this visit we ordered, chicken burrito, Cochinita Pibil (shredded pork) tacos, carne asada tacos, and elote. Everything was delicious. The meats were tender, moist and flavorful and the salsa was a perfect compliment. Staff was professional, service was exceptional, prices are reasonable and food is amazing. Can't recommend this place enough. Stop in you won't be disappointed.

This is the best taco place I have found so far in the upper west side of Phoenix (Glendale/Peoria/North Phoenix). When i say that, I am speaking primarily of the Cochinita Pibil tacos. That is all there needs to be on this menu. They are SO good! The flavors are immense, and the guac sauce, the red onion and a litlte bit of habanero slivers is amazing on top! Shoot some lime on it, and it is simply the best I've had around. I think these Chochinita Pibil tacos are better than Barrio Cafe and Barrio Queen. On top of the best CP tacos around, the owner and his son are super nice and personable.

We had tried this restaurant a few months ago and had delicious chicken and Asada quesadillas. We were in the mood for carne asada burritos, so I ordered one to split for carry out . The order was ready when I arrived but the app wasn't working to tell them to bring it to my car. I had to call them instead. After returning home and serving our lunch we realized after one or two bites that the meat was really tough and full of gristle and didn't taste fresh. My wife said that it tasted like they had gotten it from the bull fight a couple of days ago. I knew this place had been given great ratings before but I guess it has gone downhill. I doubt we will try it again. read more

The food here is so good. It's my go to recommendation for good taco places. I've come here a couple of times because I love the shrimp tacos and the salsa verde is my favorite. The guys here are great, very accommodating which is perfect because I'm picky with food. They were so nice when I came in 20 minutes from closing and ordered a bunch of tacos as they were cleaning. Everything was still fresh as it is during regular hours and they made it all faster than I was expecting for how much I ordered. I extra appreciate them because I dropped my salsa as I was leaving and it exploded everywhere, and they didn't make me feel bad that I just ruined their perfectly clean floor. I made such a mess and they were still incredibly nice to me. 5 stars even though they don't have dr. pepper. read more

If I could give Tacos Chisco a 10, I would. Everything about this place was great! We had freshly made chips and salsa, a cheese and a carnitas and cheese quesadilla(s) and carnitas, fish and beef asada tacos. The staff very kindly wrapped it up with very delicious, piping hot cream filled churros. Omgoodness! Everything was absolutely delicious, portions were generous and the staff was super kind! Found this place as we pulled into town after a long 8.5hr drive. 5 stars doesn't do enough justice to how delicious this place is!! I'm a self proclaimed food snob and it takes a lot to impress me, but WOW! We got some of the tacos carnitas, and tacos Al pastor along with a chicken quesadilla. Everything was 100%! We'll be back! Food blew me away. The shrimp tacos were the best, with the cabbage and chipotle aioli sauce!! 10/10 will be ordering this again. Asada tacos were just as good, meat marinated in a yummy citrus-y, well seasoned marinade with green salsa. Also, the drink 'Chicotiado' was just as good, has real, natural pineapple juice, not the overly sweet artificial stuff! The fire roasted Mexican elote was also well balanced! Owner/cook is so humble too!!! Good music too; reminds me of home. Saw this place on tik tok and made a 45 min drive just to try it out. Definitely did NOT disappoint! I absolutely love Birria Tacos, so I was curious about their version as they were Goat Birria tacos. Now I've never had goat before so this was a very new experience for me. Unfortunately, these were not my favorite tacos. They tasted a bit gamy. In addition, some of the meat had some bone in it. These were not for me. I've never had any of their other tacos, so I will have to come back and see what everyone is raving about with the other tacos. I did try to get one carne asada taco; however, the cashier said he could not do just one taco. I thought that was strange. So, like I said, I will have to come back at a later time to try the other tacos. read more

The food is good/ok and it has opened up locally in the area. It's for me a bit too pricey for a street taco. I'm originally from the SWest side of town and relocated to this side of town and you can get bomb a$$ tacos for 1/2 the price they are selling these for. I think it's because of the area they price them so high. They're making a nice profit off the community that's for sure. read more

Stopped at Albertsons, was looking at the menu when one of the ladies told me the tacos were excellent. went in, it was warm and smoky inside, good thing I got takeout. Ordered elote, a chicken quesadilla, and the fish tacos. Elote (in a cup) was very good, fish tacos were tasty but a bit salty and I loved the tortillas. nice and thin, unlike most street tacos with the thick corn shells. Got full so I haven't tried the quesadilla yet, but I am optimistic based on the rest of the food. read more

Amazing little place! We showed up 30 minutes before closing with 15 boys and they worked out our food so quickly. The owners were so incredibly nice and the food was delicious. Tacos were amazing. Quesadillas were amazing. Burrito was amazing. Will be back! read more

We had lunch here and went back a week ago. The food was fresh, service outstanding and place was humble. It felt like you were at their home being served authentic food. Bree was one of the nicest people ever, came to our table making sure we were okay, bringing us extra napkins before we even thought we needed it. Just left this place the only good thing that came out of it was the candy bag they give you for their grand opening. Everything else was bland and tasteless. I got the carnitas that tasted exactly like the pre packaged Costco ones. Fool me once, never again read more

Wow!! This place exceeded my expectations. Immaculately clean from tables to restrooms and the staff was very gracious and hospitable. I ordered 3 tacos (Cochinita Pibil, Carne Asada, and cactus), and the horchata. The Cochinita was probably the best taco I have ever had in my life. Amazing! It was my first time trying the cactus taco and it was so flavorful. Washing it all down with a refreshing horchata. Can't recommend this place enough. I'll be back! read more
