The truck itself is really nice, with bright colors, a large sun visor, and many pictures of menu items decorating it. I really like the variety of drinks and chips they offer, and I appreciate that they are visible to customers. I didn't have to wait very long in line even though it was pretty busy when I arrived, and my food also came out pretty quick! The staff were very friendly and were happy to answer my questions regarding their menu. I got the chicken tacos, and they were delicious! I could tell right off the bat that they put a lot of effort into serving high-quality food full of flavor. I really enjoyed the sauces as well. I wish that their hours weren't so limited, but I can live with it. This is a great place to grab lunch at for a good price!

Additionally, the service was great, and everyone was super friendly. Even though it is a food truck and can get fairly busy, everything was super fresh and prepared very quickly. They offer things like onions and jalapeños to go along with whatever you order, as well as a variety of drinks and chip options. It is a food truck, so the atmosphere is super casual, and there is normally a small crowd, but you likely won't be waiting long. They are located in a super convenient spot, so it is never too much of a task to stop by. Overall, Dos Hermanos is a great choice if you want a quick, affordable, and delicious meal. I will definitely be back! One thing to keep in mind is that they close pretty early, but works perfectly for a nice lunch.

The grits were smooth, warm, and buttery, like comfort food that makes you feel happy. The people working there were very nice and really friendly. They really made me feel welcome and were kind while I waited for my food. The wait was not too long, and everything was made fresh. The amount of food you get is perfect for an individual so you will not leave hungry. That made it even better for the price. If you like tasty and warm Southern food that you will be eager to come back to you should try this place. I will go back again to eat more because it was so good. Can't wait to try the chicken next.

My God--today! No…read morephotos this time, because we absolutely demolished it in the car. We ordered the hot honey lemon pepper catfish, and exquisite doesn't even begin to cover it. The catfish was coated in a glossy glaze with just enough heat to make your nose run--but never enough to slow you down. Perfectly cooked, flaky, and packed with flavor in every bite. And the Cajun ranch fries? A full chef's kiss. Crispy, seasoned just right, and the perfect companion to the fish. The truck stayed busy the entire time--from people getting off work to people like us, just looking to try something new--which tells you everything you need to know. Amazing food, incredible flavors, and we genuinely can't wait to come back and work our way through the rest of the menu. If you see this food truck, do yourself a favor and pull up!

Disclaimer I did not order that huge sandwich you see below I got the nice single patty you see right there and that's what we are going to talk about first. I just ordered a simple bacon cheese burger and when I tell you the first bite I could tell that these people cared about their product. The meat was so fresh no signs of being processed with fillers or anything. This thing was hot and well seasoned and everything just came together from the thick cut bacon to the melty American cheese! Go follow Battle Axe's Feast to see for yourself because they come in at a 9.5/10 from me! Now I'll explain that monstrosity at the bottom. I did not order this but 5 firemen in front of me did. This thing comes in at $30 and yes those are grilled cheeses as the buns. Maybe next time if I have someone willing to tackle this with me we can split this in half and try it. But are you man enough to finish this in one sitting? Go find out because I'm not lol!

3.5ish, rounding up to 4 for nice service and a creative menu…read more I saw an advertisement about this Birmingham-area truck making the trip up to Huntsville for a Medieval Festival outside of Yellowhammer Brewing. I thought it'd be fun to see the costumes and vendors and the menu won me over, so I stopped by to grab a meal for me and my husband to share. The truck itself is large and impressively decorated/designed and really delivers on the sort of Valkyrie / Maiden of War fantasy. Food is made to order so they do tell customers about how long to expect to wait. I was fortune to arrive early in the event and only had one or two orders ahead of me. My fresh food was still out less than 15 minutes after I ordered it. Service was friendly, professional, and eager to answer questions. I ordered their simplest burger, The Primordial Axe (one patty, semi standard toppings like pickles, onion, lettuce tomato), a half order of their Locked and Loaded fries (bacon, ranch, jalapeños, cheese and grilled chicken), and I couldn't resist one of their limited time dessert specials, the Scarlet Orchard Bread Pudding, which was cinnamon bread with pumpkin custard, with apples, cranberries, and whipped cream on top. It was definitely a feast for the two of us! The burger was my least favorite thing. It wasn't bad, but it just wasn't super flavorful, and I thought a little too much fat hadn't rendered out of mine, which left it chewy in parts. The loaded fries were solid. Crinkle fries are my least favorite cut of fry, but these were cooked nicely and salted and seasoned well. The half serving was still absolutely huge and the toppings were layered well and were quite flavorful. Generous, well-cooked bacon, and nice fresh jalapeños too. The grilled chicken was cooked perfectly, was flavorful and juicy, and a pleasant surprise honestly - I don't usually love grilled chicken in loaded fries. Speaks to the quality of the meat and skill of the cook! The best thing to me was the dessert, though. One detractor - the cranberries were very bitter lol. But other than that, the spiced apples were a nice balance of crisp and tender as well as sweet and sour. The bread was soft but not soggy and perfectly sweet. It was a super generous portion that made two dessert servings for each of us. Overall, I am glad I made the visit to try this truck and would recommend giving it a try.
