First off I lived in La for 6 years, I know TACOS! As you walk in the place is amazing, with a Venice Beach vibe.. all hand painted decor with hanging plants. Edison Bulb lighting with steel accents, the place looks dope! Tacos were FIRE! I had the fried avocado taco, el pastor and the Brussel sprouts taco! Great 6' inch corn toasted nice nice.. sauce were smoky, spicy and delicious! I was instantly brought back to the SoCal! The team so cool as hell! Whole team was friendly and guided me through the menu.. definitely getting back here soon. No place in NJ has tacos like this! read more

The tacos were great! The tortilla is authentic. The meat is very juicy. My husband ordered the quesadilla which was really good but small. It wasn't filling for him. The guac and chips were very delicious. The chips are on point, well done, crispy and tasty! Overall great experience and easy pickup. We will be eating here again! read more

tacoria - Bergen Town Center - Taco- Carne Asada Taco- Chorizo Taco- Al Pastor - Tacos Near Me - Paramus, New Jersey

Love the Tacoria location in Montclair, and Paramus is no different! It's location is easy to find and close to the Parkway south exit on Route 17. Upon walking in, the staff greets you and so does the great decor inside. Unfortunately due to COVID there is currently no indoor seating, but once restrictions are lifted this would be a great place to enjoy a burrito. The menu is easy to understand, with plenty of options for any type of diet (veggie options available). My personal preference is the carne asada in a burrito. Their burritos are mission style, meaning they are big and pressed to be warmed up. The warming process allows the insides to really come together and you won't have the issue of having a bite with just rice, or just cheese. I definitely recommend getting a side of chips and guac. Their chips are sooo good!! Honestly everything I've had has been really good. The street corn is good as well, but a little on the spicy side so beware if that's not your thing. read more

So Good!! Everything was great and as a nacho lover - Devine! Elevated taste and quality.

This place is just disappointing. Took 15-20 minutes for me to get a burrito that was possibly the most boring burrito I've ever had. No seasoning on anything, slow service and overpriced. This place is not better than Moe's or Chipotle. Don't be fooled by the marketing, it's just a gentrified Taco Bell read more

Can I just say that I've fallen in love. Everything about this restaurant is amazing. Aesthetic is perfect, food is BEYOND perfect. I can't say anything bad about them. Flavors are out of this world! I will definitely be a regular. read more

I ordered this food with a friend and we absolutely fell in love with it after a long day at school some good food always goes hard

Decent tacos... flavors are not too authentic. But this place will give me my fix locally for a quick taco instead of going into Passaic ... great addition to Paramus area for some quick Mexican grub...Cute decor and style inside. Friendly staff. read more

It was fine. Nothing to write home about. The mission style chicken burrito had barely any chicken in it. It was fresh, but all of the food we ordered seemed to be smaller portions. For burritos and tacos? Our take is that it's better than fast food places, but not the best burrito taco place. If we were looking to head down the shore on the parkway and grab a bite before heading out of town, it's better than Wendy's or the other junk. But we wouldn't drive over there. Places like el azteca blow it away. read more

I highly recommend coming it people are extremely friendly place is extraordinary clean and the food is very good. This is my first yelp experience as an elite and I really appreciate it. Definitely give this place a chance. Also have vegan options as well but I didn't put myself in that spot because I'm allergic to avocado and I tried something different for a change. Street corn is to die for. Everything is very good restaurant is clean clearly it's only for takeout for now as per Covid. Definitely come here this is probably the most non-vegan thing I've had in a long time. read more

Stopped here for a quick bite. Street corn is amazing. Had 2 different soft tacos. Carne asada and chorizo, both were very good. Food is well seasoned. I like spice and you definitely get that with the corn and the chorizo. Spicy chicken box was also well seasoned and tasty. Will definitely be back :) read more

Food is quite good but the screamo music full blast leaves the ears ringing. I'll be back only when I can sit outside and hear a conversation. read more

The Al Pastor was bomb!! Very juicy and the best one out of all the other proteins. The Mexican street corn was also really good.

First off, I am always expecting a pick up to go order during the first week to miss something. Wrong, they got all 10 items correct! Food was ready when it was supposed to be and it was absolutely delicious. Nice thing is it does not break the bank either. So to recap: Service: Spot on, perfect Food: Delicious Cost: High Value. read more

Quality fast food with a good price. Very flavorful mexican food plus multiple vegetarian options. Try all their salsa and sauces as well.

My girlfriend and I went to this place and tried their burritos, street corn and horchata. I got the carne asada burrito and the meat was very tender. Overall the ingredients all tasted fresh. I also tried 3 different salsas they offered. I had the habanero, smokey, and green salsa. My favorite was the habanero. It was not too spicy and had enough kick though. I was surprised they had horchata but it was so delicious. It didn't feel like it was made from a mix. If you never had it before, it's similar to a milk tea. I would highly recommend getting that as a drink. It helped calmed down the habanero spice when I added too much the burrito. Lastly the street corn is a must have! The sauce they put on it is to die for. I liked every part of it in the to go container. There is still no dine in but the service was very fast. We came on a Friday at dinner rush and got our food on less than 10 minutes. read more

El pastor was flavorless Brussels sprout was good but it's Brussel sprouts why so expensive ‍ read more

Nice decoration pretty cool design unfortunately for me tacos didn't make the cut the only one I liked was the carne asada . This was the location in Paramus hopefully the get better . read more

the first time I tired this place with my wife I liked it a lot. it was really good. but i went with a co worker a couple of weeks later. it wasn't so good. the food was very bland, the rice was really watery. and the people in the back had such an attitude. i asked how much longer was the food going to take, b/c i'd had been waiting for 20 minutes. i was told when i buzzer goes off the food will be ready. Not really what i asked. so yea. I'm not going back. read more

"Eh" is what I can say about this place. It's not bad, but it's just not great either. We tried Tacoria because we read an article that said they had "the best nachos in New Jersey" - well, they don't. In fact, I wouldn't even rank them in my top ten list of nachos anywhere. We got the nachos with chicken, a quesadilla with chicken and the street corn. The street corn was pretty good. It had a nice char and sauce with a little kick. The quesadilla also was pretty decent, but tasted kind of like the one from chipotle... good in a pinch, but not what I'm writing home about. And then there's the nachos. They were a decent portion size (the size of a metal pie dish). But overall, they were bland and not worth eating. Most of the chips were plain and had nothing on them. The cheese covered maybe a few chips in the center, and it had a small bit of chicken with black beans. Also on there was peppers and carrots - which were cold, and kind of weird, like what you'd get in a pickling jar, full size slices just on there. I feel like if they thought it was necessary for the dish, the peppers should've been cut up smaller. But they didn't add to the flavor either. Anyway, tacoria overall is okay. I think we'd go back, it just won't become a go-to. If you want something with a little more variety than chipotle, then this is up your alley. read more

Really cute space. The horchata is delicious as well as their limeade. I had their spicy shredded chicken tacos, which were the perfect amount of heat. They have a wide selection of hot sauces and homemade salsa. Very delicious in a fast casual atmosphere. read more

HUGE shoutout to Pablo and his staff. I had to stop in with a limited time. I made an order for my neighbors who just had a baby. I wanted to surprise them. I messed up the order and ordered 1 taco instead of 3. It was my fault but PABLO stepped it up and helped me out so incredibly. The staff worked quickly. I am very grateful for them providing me with what I wanted and extras for the lovely couple. I am grateful for people like him and businesses that run on pride, respect and love!! Thank you!! We will come by again and over and over again. Give that man a raise! read more

Tortillas were dry and bland. Was hoping for a closer Los Tacos No. 1 but corn tortillas taste premade. Pricey as well.

My family has ordered takeout form here 3x a week for the past 6 weeks. We can't stop - it's TOO good. Just had a brussel sprout taco the other day and it was so delicious, it made me cry happy tears. Incredible. read more

This place never fails! Tried the one in Montclair so I was excited that they put one in Paramus

So moved nearby a few months ago from Queens and suburban food has been really depressing...until I came here! The food was so good! We got the pollo asado burrito, nachos with the fried avocado, Brussel sprout quasadilla, and street corn. Every single thing was excellent. Fresh, unique, tasty! The prices were great, the service was quick, and the ingredients were quality. I am so happy I have such a good restaurant nearby! I will be back 100 times. read more

There is not a lot on the menu. The food is also not very good. It take about a minute or 2 to get out of the parking lot. There is a big path you have to follow. I went there and had never been anywhere within 10 minutes of it. It took me about 3 minutes to get out of it. It also take about 10 minutes for food to come. They Also have music playing. It is some people's music, but I myself do not like it read more

I'd love to know where the name came from; at first it was a bit off-putting...is it spanglish or is it a local dialect version of taqueria or both? But so glad I didn't judge a book by its cover!! Lawd---this was delish.....esposo and I got a burrito and two tacos....each....now we have lunch for tomorrow we got the chicken tinga, carne asada, y al pastor; carne was super tender, al pastor was very on point, a bit greasy but I've never had al pastor without that delicious well-seasoned grease puddle....but the chicken tinga laid. Me. Out. I don't where it came from but it had this insane Smokey bbq flavor, so enjoyable; even the packaging was neat and well-done. Just very organized and clean. We will absolutely return and I'd recommend this to everyone and Anyone; buen provecho read more

We've ate here 4 times in the past 2 weeks, the tacos are that good and the prices are very reasonable. We've since had 80% of the menu, everything is fresh and tastes incredible. Everyone working there is polite and cares about what they're doing. read more

I love Tacoria in New Brunswick by my house and I love it even more that they now have one by my office in Paramus! My personal favs are the quesadillas - they never disappoint! Always so full of flavor!! I ordered the chorizo one and the avocado one today. Knew I'd never finish them both but would share with others in the office (because they have never had Tacoria before - GASP! IKR?!) And we pretty much support all local restaurants on the daily (ha!). Well let's just say, I know the girls in my office will be ordering a lot more often in the future. Everyone loved the quesadillas and let's just say, I'll need to order again tomorrow because there were no leftovers read more

When they get it right, they are good. Unfortunately, I'm at a 50% success rate with my orders with the latest mishap shown below (with the order ticket/date). I would consider this an unacceptable miss rate on their orders. read more

Might just do chipotle next time. I got an Al Pastor box and it did have good flavor. But i was missing my guac and the portion is much smaller than chipotle. My order came out to 12.50 and they charged for lettuce too. Maybe I'm just spoiled with chipotle or maybe it was because i ordered through ubereats but it's not going to be a place I actively go to for lunch. read more

Flavorul tacos. I've had the pollo asado and brussel sprouts tacos about 3 or 4x each and they've been consistently good. Much better experience than the tacos I had at the Montclair location, which were bland. This will b my local spot. read more

Horrible!!! Doesn't look anything like their website. So many better places. This is not cheap and it's takeout

Fun atmosphere, quick service, food was great. Clean bathrooms. Would definitely recommend !

As a vegan and a Paramus resident I am so excited this place exists. There aren't enough vegan friendly places in the area unless you go to JC or Hoboken. I ordered twice from here via uber eats and both times my burritos are still so hot when they arrive. The food quality is amazing. The food is delicious. I'm excited to come in person when I get a chance but I definitely think I've found my new burrito spot! read more

So happy to have delicious authentic Mexican street tacos and corn in Paramus!! Food is fresh and staff is friendly, vibe is chill. Let's keep this place in business, Paramus! We need more food like this- less big chain processed choices. Thanks for taking a chance on our town, Tacoria! read more
