Got two tacos during my lunch break. Curbside pickup was fairly quick and the tacos were great. I highly recommend the cowboy. In addition the hot salsa was excellent, you know the place is good when the salsa leaves your mouth with a slight burn. read more

Prices were as expected, though not posted, you have to look at a menu to see the prices. However the seating is not too functional...the indoor tables and chairs were awkwardly arranged. I really try to give this place the benefit of the doubt. their flavors are I guess the only thing that keeps me coming every once in awhile now especially after the latest visit on Sunday -which possibly taught me a lesson about sunday's, I don't know... but took me 30 minutes to get 2 tacos out the door with people getting their food that were 3 behind me when I ordered. Execution is just obviously a problem for their kitchen. there just doesn't seem to be a level pride in how the food gets prepared packaged for to go orders.it's almost like somebody rolls the tacos up in their fists. Order to chorizo and 1 daily special which was short rib and rajas with a little black bean add in. These were for my son and where you live maybe a quarter mile away. When I get home I looked down and Greece was running down the seam of my leather seat. I ran in the house and shut the order down to grab something to try to clean up the grease before it stains the leather my son went ahead and grabbed the ordercame to me before I could get back in the house to get more cleaner and said Dad how can I eat this? And I went to look at it... I didn't have an answer except to use a fork or spoon apologized. Said that it's okay if you don't go there anymore. I just can't imagine not being able to figure out what the order I'm preparing would look like when my customer got home and sit down to eat it. I grew frequenting the OG Taco Deli in Austin. My dad would take me and my Sister and I would always order the frontera fundido. I was super EXCITED to find out they were building one so close to my house here and Dallas and finally got around to checking it out. My fiancé and I visited around noon and the place was packed. We sat outside while we waited for our food (which the line was out the door, and our food only took about 20 minutes.) but we're able to grab a table inside. We got a few different tacos (all amazing. I don't have to tell you how good their food is. Everybody knows this. But I LOVE their flour tortillas. And we tried to posole too, which tasted pretty traditional. Lots of flavor in the broth. If your hungover on the weekends, get a Mexican coke and the posole. You'll be fine. The staff were on point. You can always tell when there is good leadership and the staff are treated well, because even though it was insanely busy, and some of the customers weren't the nicest, the staff still had a smile on their face and seemed happy to be doing there job. Someone came to wipe down our table, two people came to check on us, and when we were finished someone came to take our dishes. The location is very pretty and modern, there is a great patio, the parking lot is shared so it was a little hard to find parking right at lunch time, but overall this location is killing it. I wish they offered some Sort of sweet treat or dessert. But honestly I was so full when I left I didn't have room for one. read more

I really wanted to give them 5 but I just couldn't do it. For starters they weren't very busy when we arrived at 830. They had a lot of tables open and there wasn't a line and they clearly had ample staff. My table of 5 1 toddler ordered 5 breakfast tacos. Not a huge order but it took 20 minutes to get our food. And when we got it, it was cold. And my moms tortilla completely fell apart as soon as she picked it up. Who wants a breakfast taco with a giant hole in their tortilla? It was just frustrating. I would say it is an "upscale" taco spot and it is very good but a tad on the pricey side. This last visit I had a thursday special - Scallop taco and it was outstanding and so very flavorful, will definitely make a point to drop by on thursdays in the future for this. I also had a special of the moment - Akaushi Adobado taco (akaushi flank steak and seasoned poblano-onion rajas, queso fresco) and I added avocado, good taco w nice balance. I have not been there yet for breakfast but I hope to try those soon. I keep thinking about that Scallop taco and how great it was, if only everyday was thursday. read more

Yo - I don't need to tell you guys how good the food is bc it speaks for itself or how the orders are always accurate bc they diligently repeat them back to you. I'm writing this review to let everyone know how awesome the team / staff at this location is. They are hands down some of the kindest, caring and funny humans around. Unfortunately, my baby spent some time in the NICU hospital across the street and this was my go to spot for food. Over a 10 day period the ladies asked me daily how baby and mom were doing and if there was anything they could do. In tough times it was nice to see some smiling faces and positive attitudes...they even gave us a taco deli onsie for the baby. So that said, full marks to these guys. You are rad. read more

AWESOME addition to the Dallas taco scene. Breakfast tacos are absolutely addictive and the best I've found anywhere in Texas... or the world for that matter! They seem to have that whole farm-to-table thing down pat, as their ingredients are stellar. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and fun. If you're ordering to go, I highly recommend ordering online as it's super easy and much quicker during peak times. Haven't dined in before, but the atmosphere looks nice (especially the patio). This is the second time I have been. The first time was lackluster, but I decided to give it another try before posting a review. This time was worse and I will not repeat. I ordered three tacos to try the flavors: Fundido, Fantastico, and Mole. I also ordered chios and salsa. The salsa is exactly the same as you get for free but in a larger container! What? And the medium salsa has the consistency of water. Did I get the literal bottom of the barrel? So I paid for a bag of chips and brown water with barely any flavor. The tacos were just as disappointing. The Fantastico is just some fajita chicken, peppers and onions; nothing else, nothing! I poured some brown water sales on it but it just made is messy. The Fundido was better but unremarkable. The mole was unrecognizable. it didn't taste or approximate green or brown mole. Whatever it was, it was not good. I'm sure they survive on having a large menu, but they should focus on less items executed well and stop trying to be Velvet Taco or Torchy's on steroids. read more

This was my favorite taco place in Dallas. After today I will never return! They messed up my order and brought me flour tortillas instead of corn. No biggy I went up to ask for a change of tortillas- the girl threw out the tacos I brought back and they started me at the end of the queue to replace them. They probably saw that was upsetting to me beside the waste of food and the inconvenience of not eating at the same time with my wife. So when they finally bring the replacement tacos out the cook had decided to garnish them with a long strand of hair. So gross! I did get a refund but this experience will never allow me to return. Tried Tacodeli for lunch today for the first time. Had one carne asada taco and one tacoloco taco, and added rice and beans for $2 more. The tacos were very filling and tasty and the ingredients were very fresh. I spent more on lunch than I normally would though - two tacos, rice and beans and an iced tea were a little over $14. If I eat at Tacodeli again, I will not add the rice and beans the next time, because the small amount was not worth the extra $2, in my opinion. I also would not get a drink unless I was eating there and could refill it, as the cup size was pretty small. They do offer a 20% discount on your order if you show your teacher ID, FYI. 5 stars for food quality, but bumped down one star for the price. read more

We may have caught them on a bad day but we had an extremely long wait and then watched the staff give our food to someone else. The real kicker was when I pointed this out no one delivering food, behind the counter, or in the kitchen seemed even remotely concerned. The kitchen staff was in complete disarray. The manager on shift finally said they would put a "rush" on it and then the food comes out cold enough the tacos didn't even melt the cheese. Favorite queso! It's just as good as torchys queso, but very different. All their tacos are delicious, but my favorite is the frontera fundido steak taco. This location is a lot smaller than the one near Trinity Groves, but it's just as great and within walking distance of my apartment. It's my go-to brunch spot on the weekends. read more
