I haven't been to Tacodeli in a minute, but I was a serious frequent flyer at their West Dallas location! I ordered the Space Cowboy and the Papadulce. Ordering was seamless and the wait wasn't too bad for it to be lunch time. They were super busy. I initially didn't like the way my Space Cowboy was looking on the tray, but the flavors were there. The mushrooms were cold tho. The Papadulce was just as I remembered. Love their options for veggie/vegan tacos! read more

Long time fan of their other location and the Walnut Hill location does a great job as well. Had a mushroom and a pork belly taco with small rice and black beans. Tacos were greatness! Vegetarians will love the mushroom taco, FULL of fresh veggies in a homemade tortilla. Pork belly was crispy and plentiful with lots of tasty toppings. Rice and beans were very tiny portions. The menu stated the portion size but I didn't get how little 4 ozs would be.. lol Counter service was pleasant and friendly. Dining area was clean. Food came out quickly. Still a big fan. read more

NOPE! Greasiest most unflavorful tacos that leaked through the bag into the seat of my car and now I have to get it deep cleaned and detailed to get the orange grease out of my seat. I ordered 3 tacos, was charged for 4, and when I asked about it, guy just said "whoops my bad". Not one table was clean when I went in and the teas were out also. There are FAR superior taco places nearby and I will never go back here. Overpriced and flavorless and FILLED with orange stinky grease. read more

I love the convenience of this place! The parking is easy and the restaurant is casual so you can come anyway you like. You can order at the counter or on the app and the food comes quickly! Today I tried FRONTERA FUNDIDO CHICKEN and the Mexico City chicken taco both were fantastic, but I think I like the Mexico City chicken taco more mostly because it has cilantro and is actually quite simple but very flavorful! They also have outside seating if you'd like to bring your dog. read more

We went here after church on a Sunday and it was slammed! We had to wait in line to order and then for a table as they have a seat yourself policy. We ordered a bunch of tacos and some queso. Our chips came wrapped in a plastic bag which means that they aren't fresh which was disappointing. However, our tacos were good and our service was great as well! Good for a quick bite to eat if in the area. read more

Taco deli at Walnut Hill is so awesome! I have their app so it's super fast and easy to order my favorite breakfast tacos, and show up and get them quickly. All the employees are so hard-working and their customer service is great, the food is high-quality and and so tasty. Thank you for your service and keep up the great work as you are appreciated! read more

Update 1 year later! Customer service is worse - they just stare at you when you step up to order. Food pretty good but still way overpriced. The coffee place Houndstooth in the parking lot has really good coffee though. read more

Tried the Barbacoa Madruguera breakfast taco today. Really good. Tender beef with a yummy red sauce with just a bit of a kick and eggs. Perfect for breakfast. We haven't had taco deli in a very long time. I was craving the delibelly taco, which I am glad it is now permanently on the menu. I think before it was a weekend thing only. Again, it's been like 8+yrs since I've been in taco deli. We tried the pollo mole- it was okay. I like mole and this did was alright. Barbacoa - my fiancés favorite. Deli belly - the pork belly, my favorite. The pork belly was a little bit dry/hard (maybe been sitting there too long or over cooked) but the flavor was there. If there was pickled onions or slaw it would be perfect. I love that we can get our own hot sauces. I love the jalapeño crema and habanero sauces. Very nice area with lots of other places around and nice to walk around too. read more

Best tacos in Dallas. Prove me wrong. The breakfast tacos use the vital farms eggs, and almost everything is sourced locally. They have a tiny freezer so everything is super fresh. I'm obsessed. read more

A very okayish lunch. Never been to taco deli before. Was told this was superior to torchy and other similar restaurants. It didn't knock my socks off, but it wasn't terrible either. Got three tacos as recommended by the guy who took my order. I don't remember their names but they are pictured. I order all flour but received all corn. No sweat don't need the gluten anyway. But yeah. The meat was very salty to me. Did I still crush it, of course. But if you have high BP be weary. Their sauces were what made the tacos better. Loved them. I would come back just to try different tacos, they have plenty on the menu to suit even the pickiest of folks. read more

Their tacos are great! I took the day off from work to relax and started my journey here for breakfast. Had a margarita at 10am. It was great and it was so strong. I had a mushroom vegan taco and it was delicious. I would say two to three tacos are enough to fill up. Star of the show was the queso with meat read more

Ordered food to dine in. Was taking a long time, checked and they said "it's coming. Waited longer. Checked again, they assured me it would be out soon. 20 minutes after that, I asked what happened and they apologized and offered to make me food right away and refund my money. 5 minutes later, they handed me my food and never mentioned the refund. That being said if you have 1 1/2 hours free for lunch the tacos are very decent. See photo for actual time confirmation. Update: I appreciate TacoDeli's prompt reply to this review and willingness to address. I'm going to Add a star for that. read more

I think the tacos are good, but this location desperately needs to make a few pickup-only designated parking spots.

Frontera Fundido Sirloin Review I meant to take a picture of the tacos lol! Anyways, they were good! Especially the siracha sauce! Made the burn REAL!! However they were a lil tiny for $6.60 a pop plus charged 30 cents or greater if you add toppings. Which got them down to 3 stars...Taco bell does not charge for toppings and are comparable haha! You just can't go wrong with breakfast tacos and coffee, the food is always freshly made to order using all fresh ingredients and their coffee is good too. The barbacoa was so tender and super flavorful and you can also build your own, like one of my personal favorites - bean, cheese and bacon. The chips and queso are also delish but they don't give you enough chips since the chips come in prepacked plastic bags, which I don't care for but that would be my only complaint. The guacamole is also really well made and super tasty! read more

Tacodeli - Breakfast tacos and coffee for the win - Tacos Near Me - Dallas, Texas

How have I not been here before?! I've been twice in the last few weeks and it's been delish both times! There are 2 tacos on the menu identified as vegan - the Freakin Vegan (refried black beans, pico, avocado) and the Papdulce (sweet potatoes, pepitas, bell peppers). Technically the FV is on the breakfast menu & only available before 3pm so I'd be really disappointed if I couldn't get that one - I always get one of each - it's perfection in it's simplicity. I also had their guac & it's pretty good also - note that it has a little bite to it if you're sensitive to spice. The alcoholic drinks available I believe are all canned & they were out of the Paloma I wanted to try on one visit. Service is pretty good - quick and helpful. Ambiance is cool - industrial type vibe - indoor/outdoor seating, bus your own table, etc. Looking forward to going back! read more

Save your money and go to Taco Bell. The flour tortilla is very thin, under cooked and barely holds content. I had the barbacoa and vaquero taco and it lacked flavor. The size of the taco is medium. We tried this place for the first time recently. The staff was friendly. They had several tables inside and a nice patio. The chicken tacos were tasty. The chicken mole tacos and el picosito tacos had great flavor. We enjoyed the chips and queso as well. The only downside was it was a bit pricey. For 4 tacos, 2 fountain drinks and the chips and queso, it was $36. However, we would try it again. read more

This is a lunch/breakfast staple in our office and that definitely won't change anytime soon! The migas, the Otto, the heather and the sirloin are some of my favs... and the Dona if you love spice you'll love the Dona hot sauce. The food is extremely fair priced for quality ingredients. As always, the food is amazingly good. People who work there are always kind and courteous. Amazing treasure for Texas!

Holy guacamole!! Seriously! The guac is a must have. It has a kick and it's my favorite. However, I'm not really a fan of their chips. I recommend just adding to your breakfast bowl. I get beans, cheese, jalapeños and avocado. Yes, I then add some guacamole to my avocado. I know, I know but don't knock it until you try it! read more

Tacodeli - Tacos Near Me - Dallas, Texas

We were in Austin a couple of weekends ago and went to the one there that was awesome. Perhaps this one doesn't have it down yet. My BF went in to order our 4 tacos to go. He wound up waiting a good 12 minutes and I was waiting in the car but we almost left then the tacos came out! They were not busy inside at this time. 8/28/20 around 7:25 am was when we got there. Perhaps, calling an order in is faster then walking in to order because they were busy with those orders which seemed to be moving along. It would be great if the tacos were worth the wait. Unfortunately, they were not. I had to heat them up in the microwave and then the portion was a little more on the stingy side compared to the ones we had in Austin. The taste was nothing to write about either. I do like their corn tortillas and that they only use one versus two. (I'm trying to watch for extra calories) The location was nice and it was clean. He said that the staff was friendly and his opinion is that they were overwhelmed with a order made to pick up and they "prioritize" those orders versus the people that walk in. Well, I can't say we will be returning any time soon. There's a lot of great taco places in town so if this place wants to stay around it's going to have to stand out among the rest and on the particular day. They didn't have us wanting to return. read more

Tacodeli - El Shrimposito Mojo Salmon - Tacos Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I used to love taco deli but I stopped by at the walnut hill location today after a long time and I ordered 2 tacos to go (the cowboy and mojo salmon) and was disappointed. the tacos were EXTREMELY SPICY, nowhere in the menu does it indicate these are spicy, when I say spicy I mean inedible - they shouldn't assume everyone likes that much heat, it ruined my meal. Also, it took over 15 mi urea to get two little tacos and the quality was just not as good as it used to be. I called the location to provide constructive feedback and turns out the number they have listed is non even a working number, therefore I had to come here to provide the feedback since they dont even have a working phone number. read more

For the price I really expected more. The cashier was very friendly and the frozen margarita & the salmon taco were really good. We also tried the queso, Mexico City sirloin, pollo fantastico, & shrimposito, & kids chicken quesadilla. The cashier told us the shrimp tacos weren't good and we should've listened lol. It had zero flavor! $50 total & I wasn't impressed. Also they got my order mixed up with the person who ordered after me so one of her tacos came out with mine on my tray & I was missing one that I ordered. I don't know how that happened. read more

We love Taco Deli (Walnut Hill) so much! We have it at least once a week! Best tacos in town ;)

I've definitely had these breakfast tacos randomly at a coffee shop but never been to their actual restaurant, I'm so glad I finally got to try it! It's even more amazing when it's made to order! I love that you can choose what kind of tortilla. Our server recommended corn and he was so right on point about that. I got the Jess (migas!) and the Otto (black bean!) both were amazing and very stuffed! My only regret is that i gobbled them up quickly before I had a chance to take a photo. In the past, I have gotten The Vaquero and the Chorizo, Egg, Cheese. I'd love to come back and get it made to order here. read more

These were amazing tacos. The flour tortillas tasted homemade, and most importantly, soft. The eggs and mushrooms were seasoned very well and the beans were a good consistency. For the dining area, there was a good outdoor seating area that had fans to cool you off in the hot Texas heat. The indoor area was great with plenty of natural light and seating. read more

They get 1 star because they're guacamole is okay. Everything I got was salty, even my margarita on the rocks with NO SALT. On top of being salty, it was just plain nasty.
