Taco Time is the crappiest best fast food joint in rexburg. There food is consistently the same and very tasty, they also usually have some great deals going on which makes it pretty affordable. Their mexi fries are tatter tots... but they are really good tots. The service here is really bad, the staff seems to be unorganized. Do yourself a favor and head to one of the many other taco places. The Mexican-fries were cold and inedible. The burritos weren't much better, cold even after 12 seconds in their microwave. Not worth the $15.00 dinner at all. You might be better off fasting. read more

I tried taco time not expecting much but was definitively surprised with how good te food tasted. This is easily better than Taco Bell and dell taco. While not super authentic it's my favorite place to go for Mexican fast food. My favorite thing to get is the chicken ranchero burrito because it has a nice taste and crunch. Hands down the best taco time in Idaho and Utah. Possibly the best ever, but I have only tried taco times in Idaho and Utah:) not only is the food incredibly fresh and delicious, the employees are very fast paced and considerate. My experiences at Taco Time have been great. The food is great for the value (the reason it's not as cheap as Taco Bell is because of the quality people, and it really isn't that much more expensive). They even have great deals and coupons sometimes. I love the empanadas. I also put the salsa fresca on everything because it's so good. I definitely plan on returning when more coupons arrive! *For those people that rated this poor because it's fast food, you need to stop comparing apples to oranges. Taco time??? More like Taco dump. Just watching them make the food I got goosebumps. A cook rang up my order while he was wearing his food handling gloves. Then went back with the same gloves to touch food. The guacamole came out of a gun that looked like what they use for window caulking. I know this is not gourmet or anything, but that was disgusting. The soft tacos are gross. Mostly cheese and meat, some warm sour cream and every once in a while something cold and slimy with the meat (lettuce and tomato). No flavor, no spice. Also, watching them just throw everything together and then nuke it in a microwave to make it seem hot and fresh, made me lose my appetite even more. I'd rather not see my food being made if you're going to just slap everything together on a bare table that you've probably wiped down with some chemical rag and then nuke it for 5 seconds. Today as my family and I came into town, we had thought to go into side since we have been in the car for a long time. Well right when got in side we see 3 employees one was cleaning the microwave and had the rag out on the front counter.. so be begin to older and the young guy took our older. Then 1 young lady was making our food and she was talking to another coworker how she wish she had a better job and how she had to be at work still. My family and I felt like they didnt want us there at all. We wait to get ice and no ice so we wait for our food to be done to let them know they were out of ice. While standing there the 2 pound lady's stood there while half our food was done. She just stood there talking to the other coworker. Then I look and the rag she was cleaning the microwave was touching out food!!!! Like are you serious!!! So then we get our food and we let them know they were out of ice and she just wait and filled half a bucket up and looked at us and said here you go ..... then wait on talking to the other employee.
