The curtido (cabbage) at Sal's is a great addition and well seasoned. The carne asada taco was good. It was flavorful and bigger than your average street taco. However, it was pretty greasy. Use several napkins and then wash your hands right after type of greasy...but that's where the flavors at! Lol. Prices are slightly higher than the other places I'm accustomed to. However, my options in Idaho Falls for Salvadorian comfort food are limited so I'll take what I can get. Everything is cooked when you order it so be prepared to wait for a bit or call ahead. There were probably 3-4 people ahead of me during lunch hour and I waited close to 30 minutes for my food. The gentleman who works the counter isn't overly friendly but I understand that not everyone's personality is the same as mine. He was nice enough that I didn't feel uncomfortable.
