"Black bean" and cheese burrito :(
    Brynn S.

Really hopeful that I finally found a Mexican place that offers black bean burritos (instead of refried) via DoorDash. Unfortunately, despite my request, I got a wet, mushy, refried mess. Big bummer!

Pretty good Mexican join minutes away from the Medford airport. Order at one window, pay at the next. Full sauce bar available too. Had 2 taco Al pastor, one chile verde taco, a red shrimp taco", side of rice and a bottle coke for about $18. Food was ready in under 5 minutes. They also serve breakfast which seemed popular.

Did a quick road trip to Oregon and wanted to make sure I got breakfast burritos before we left. I called at 10:59am. Breakfast ends at 11am. They were happy to make me a breakfast burrito still and told me they'd keep it warm for me because I said I was thirty minutes away. I got there and my food was ready and waiting. The gentleman at the counter was the one who took my order and was super nice. The inside was pretty busy, simply decorated. I didn't know that this place was tucked behind/ on the side of auto row. They have a tasty salsa bar. My breakfast burritos were on point, not greasy, and the tortilla was grilled to perfection. I had the bacon breakfast burrito, and I loved the crunchy burnt ends of bacon, and I think chunks of ham. Whatever it was, it hit the spot. My husband had the sausage burrito. Next time I'm in the area, I would really want to try their chilaquiles. This place is reasonably priced for the portions. Also, you have to try the gummies with chamoy.

The food was delicious and well portioned. We came in for breakfast but ended up ordering from their regular menu. Tacos were yummy! I had birria ramen for the 1st time it was delicious. Food was served with complimentary chips and they were the best chips I've tried in the valley. Service was quick. The man behind the counter was friendly and nice. He even gave us complimentary frescas (in small cups :)). Place was small but kept clean, well lit and there were ample parking available. Right before we left, we were given $1 off coupon for our next visit, definitely planning my next visit soon.

Order up at the counter type restaurant with quick service. Had Al Pastor Jumbo Tacos and a Birria (Red taco) with a Mechelada. Was so very good! We don't live in Medford but if I did I would eat here all the time.

Tucked away behind the car dealers and by the airport there is a hidden gem of an authentic Mexican Restaurant. They are open for breakfast and lunch till 4pm. I had the breakfast burrito, the eggs, bacon and hash browns cooked to perfection. The eggs weren't dry, the bacon was crisp and the potatoes were light. Just the right amount of cheese not too much to over flavor the rest of the ingredients. The hot sauce for the burrito I chose hot and boy was it hot! It could take the paint off a picnic table! Delicious and great prices to boot for a nice big breakfast burrito and ice tea you can't beat it. I'll be coming back for lunch.

Hidden in a business park you will find a spot turning out some yummy breakfast burritos like in all honesty what more could you ask for? Coming here I wasn't too sure what was going on but in thus early morning it was all about the breakfast burrito as that just sounds awesome after some travel! The burrito had a good amount of eggs, cheese, potatoes, and of course bacon but what really made it was their yummy salsa it was just perfect on this already good breakfast burrito! Who doesn't love soda for breakfast in this case it was all about the Lime Jarritos for me as that's just one of my favorites! Overall this is a mellow little diy spot with a friendly staff who was totally taking it on by themselves on this given morning it's with that I found some yummy breakfast burritos and totally a reason to make it here again if I'm passing through!

Red Taco plate, I opted for one Birria and one Chile Verde. So yummy!

I grade a restaurant on numerous parameters (e.g., parking, attitude of host or hostess, waiter or waitress, ambiance, noise vs music, and of course quality and presentation of food and drink, and expense. My rating goes from 0 (absolutely horrible) to 10 (the most incredible dining experiences in my life). I consider any restaurant with a rating 7 or higher worthy of return. I think in Medford, most restaurants rate about a 6-6.5. I rate Tartine at an 8 to perhaps 8.5. 1. Parking fine. 2. Greeting upon entry- Wonderful from host and hostess. 3. Ambiance/Decor: I cannot think of any place with better ambiance and tasteful decor than this. I am speaking of the interior. Just beautifully done. 4. Waitress we had (Angie): would take her home and/or adopt her. What a doll. A sour-puss waitress or waiter can kill a meal. Angie brightened up everything. Good on you, Angie. 5. Food, drink: coffee very good; food excellent. Price reasonable. I only have one negative. I don't need noise in the form of bad music or bad speakers while I am eating and having conversation. IF perhaps the sound was not the thump-thump of an aerobics class and instead it was soft jazz, or soft classic music not intrusive, I would up my grade to a 8.5-9. I will go back and try to find seating far away from any speaker.

I usually order the chilaquiles, and they are hands down the best around. The chips are perfectly coated in sauce without getting soggy, and the flavor is bold, rich, and comforting. Adding carne asada takes it to another level -- tender, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. Every bite is packed with flavor. Even though I stick to my favorite, everything else I've tried has been just as impressive. The quality is consistent, the portions are generous, and you can taste the care in every dish. This place just reeks of honest intention and care. It's not worth reviewing particular dishes because you can't go wrong--just remember this is basic straightforward food, whether you go with Mexican or North American breakfasts. Nothing will blow you away, bit nothing is bad either. What is a signature feature here is how many different Mexican options there are--this isn't a "let's throw huevos rancheros on and check the box." I got nothing but respect for them here.
