Taco Mac's is not what I expected it to be. Maybe I had one too many terrible tacos at Lakeshore at a similarly named establishment (and to be clear I had a bite of one taco at this other establishment and that was more than anyone needs) but that's not why I'm here....back to Taco Mac. It is the perfect spot when no one can agree on dinner. There's a little bit of something for everyone - Tex? Mex? Good ole American burgers? Everything on the menu is good. The service is great. Give them a shot! read more

We went to the new Taco Mac in Pelham last Saturday. We have been to the one in kennesaw Ga and was excited that they opened one here. They did not disappoint!! Best service I've ever had in this type of restaurant and the food was very good. They were very crowded but I think everyone at the bar spoke to us at some point. Our server was Sarah, she actually remembered that my husband had been there a few days before for their soft opening! She was great! I had the chicken salad sandwich which I highly recommended. My husband had wings, Queso and chips. The queso was also very good. He liked the wings but I did not try them. The only thing is I recommended the place to a friend not knowing that loud noise bothers him. If you have that issue this may not be the place for you, it is a sports bar and restaurant, there are more tv's than most places and they are all on so it gets loud! Go and try them out! Hope you like it as well as we did read more

Taco Mac Pelham - Chicken Wings Near Me - Pelham, Alabama

Food was just okay. This is your typical bar food. The fried pickles are actually very good. The shrimp salad I ordered didn't come with the avocados like it said it would. My husband said his chicken sandwich was just "okay" at best. The staff was extremely friendly, but overall the food was mediocre. It also took a while to get our food. Most likely I won't come here for the food in the future but if I want to just hang out and have a drink then they offer the ambience to do just that! You can tell they spent a lot of money on their court yard area. It's a great place to just have a few drinks to relax by the fire and sown time with friends. read more

Let me preface this by saying that my family and I have been fans of Taco Mac for many years (having lived in Atlanta)....but THIS particular location was very disappointing. Service was HORRIBLE (which is actually an understatement). We ordered a Cobb Salad, Fish & Chips, and Kids Tacos, yet waited almost an HOUR for our food (this is AFTER waiting almost 20 minutes for drinks). The restaurant was not packed at all, nor did it seem to be a shortage of staff. The wait was so long that our 7 year old literally started crying. We were so excited to have a TacoMac open in the Birmingham area, but it's safe to say that we will not be back and we certainly won't recommend this location. read more

Gave this place another try. Last experience was barely a star. This time food was better. Wings were great! Service was very subpar. Honestly our server ignored us. Probably won't be back. read more

Wings were average , and service was extremely delayed. I am hoping this is just a hiccup on the new opening experience. I have been to Taco Mac in Atlanta and it was a much more elevated experience. read more

It was really great. The service was friendly and the food was really well done. You can tell they are really trying to do their best. The only negative is they don't offer Brewniversity credits but that's the state of Alabama's fault. read more

I wanted to give 2.5 stars, no option. I had to go down to 2 because I feel 3 is too many. The waitress was nice, very attentive. That is the best I can say for my experience. Now, let's talk about the food. My friend had hyped this place up (big time) and I was expecting amazing food. The appetizer was flavorful, the entree was okay and the side was better than the main dish. My biggest complaint is the food came out and it wasn't hot. The temperature wasn't refrigerator cold, but it was barely warm. I don't know how long it was sitting in the kitchen, but it definitely wasn't brought out as soon as it was cooked. I brought the rest home with me so I could actually eat it at a proper temperature. It's bad when you enjoy your leftovers more than when you first eat your meal. If my food had been hot, I could've given more stars. Maybe a 4.. read more

We went on opening night. I was skeptical because I've been to restaurants having just opened and it was not a great experience. HOWEVER, Taco Mac did a bang up job for their first night! The wings and nachos were amazing, our server was awesome, and the atmosphere is fun! The only draw back, for me, was not enough local beers. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to get back over there! read more

Clean, delicious, friendly. Everything you want out of restaurant! Wings are generous too!

Good food good service great drinks there are plenty of tvs and wing choices Will go back for the drinks and mango wings

The best of the best!!! The service is always on point and the managers are always out talking to tables! The feeling is fun and the servers look like they get along! read more

Friendly takeout service. Food was great - Chilli cheese jumbo dog & fries and Peachtree burger & fries. Fries were waaaay better than expected- expected plain old shoestring fries but were thicker and seasoned to perfection. read more

If I could give less than one star review I would. I was looking forward to going here and was terribly disappointed. I ordered a pretzel and waited over 30 minutes to never get a pretzel. I cancelled the order and asked the manager if the kitchen was having issues. She was less than cordial and said " No one showed up and she was having to deal with it". Manager than disappeared while the staff continued to play and not serve. I contacted corporate email and obviously corporate is equally not interested in customers or service as I never got response. Save your money there are plenty of good restaurants in Pelham, Alabama. read more

We honestly were so disappointed by this experience. It was moderately busy, nothing crazy. We didn't get drink orders until 15 min after we were seated. The waitress was apologetic and seemed, honestly, overworked. She seemed to be doing her best. The food was fine but not worth the price. One star for good prices on alcohol but not much more than that. read more

Server was very nonchalant. The queso w/ beef was good ( forgot the menu name) . However, the mild Buffalo wings were sweet with no heat, ranch dressing was unappetizing and side of fries were cold . I am the one who usually complain and send back but had no energy or maybe never seen the waitress long enough to complain. read more

The food was good. Atmosphere is great and service is excellent! I had the lavender lemon fizz and tacos. I would highly recommend! We will definitely be back! read more

It was great. Service wise it was fabulous, but the food does come out a little slow.

Make sure you check to see if the kitchen is open before you go. The staff is great! Managers could use some help in the customer service areas. Try communicating with your employees and letting them know the kitchen is closed. The bartenders are great! I feel bad for them when they take an order from a customer and then they have to turn around and say, the kitchen is closed. That is not fair to your employees or customers. read more

I debated between 3 and 4 stars, there were some aspects that leaned more towards 4 but overall landed on 3. Tried to go on Saturday night, was told the wait was 40 minutes for 2 people. That's OK, it was busy. I appreciate the text and ability to track my status. Initially it said 10 parties ahead of me 40 minute wait. After almost an hour, only one party had been sat. One large party left, so still 8 parties ahead of us. Party of 2 ahead of us were told 20 minutes and were still there after our almost hour wait. Seems like there was no turn over in that hour which made all the wait times longer. Also, the people working have no control over this but the parking and waiting area was terrible. Capacity is 264ish and 61 outside but in the convenient parking lot there are only like 21 spots. The rest of the parking are significantly further away. There is also nearly no waiting room. I don't mind waiting but it's incredibly uncomfortable when there is no room to even stand without touching others and this isn't just because of the amount of people, there just no real waiting space compared to other restaurants of the same concept. We didn't stay after an hour with 8 parties ahead but did return the next day and were able to be seated easily. The food was good enough, better than similar places but as good as some others. Pricing was reasonable, enjoyed all the tvs as well as the extra large booth concepts. The outdoor dining looks great during the warmer months. Service was fine, waitress was attentive and checked on us multiple times. The pretzel bites were good even though they looked a little overdone, however the queso was thick and not very dippable. The bacon on the. Burger could have cooked a little longer and my husband ended up just taking it off the burger. The salad was really good, but the dressing was more watery than I prefer, next time I will ask for it on the side. Would go again if in the area but unlikely to make a special trip unless I wanted to watch several games. read more

Our server did a great job. Wings were average. When I ordered a second beer our waitress apologized and said she could not find the bartender. She finally returned in about ten minutes later againg apologized. We later ordered 2 tequila shots that were supposed to be $5 each. Upon receiving the tab they were $7 each. She said for some, reason when the tabs were closed out, it raised the price by $2. I then spoke to the manager Nick. He used more double talk than a shady used car salesman. He was total bafoon. Again, our server did a great job, but because of Dumbo Nick we will not return. read more

Our first visit was enjoyable, good food, good service, and loud, though enjoyable atmosphere. Since then, we've tried to eat there on several hockey game nights and despite arriving early, the service has been dismal. Last night we arrived at 5:20 and were told a 45 minute wait. We could see that empty tables abounded, so there was clearly a lack of help, common to the industry and understandable. We waited an hour and finally gave up. After being seated at hockey after 7pm we got the text that a table was ready. That's just pitiful on a night that a restaurant knows to expect a crowd, to be that degree of unprepared. Not sure we'll bother to try again. read more

Told it was a 30 minute wait. Was seated 1.5 hours later. Waitress was nice but service was very slow. Hard to get refills on drinks. Ordered mozzarella sticks appetizer and they were frozen in the middle. Sent them back and they brought them back out burned. Daughter got the beef tacos and the meat tasted like cafeteria food. Wings were nothing special. Youngest got the mini corn dogs and tots and said they were cold and yucky. Food overall was bland and season-less. Save yourself some money and order water because they have the syrup turned way down on their drinks. Plates for appetizers were dirty. Will not be wasting money here again. read more

Service was terrible. Dinner took hours, various meals came out over a period of over 30 minutes but nothing was hot or fresh.

food tasted good, but service was absolutely terrible. yes we had a decent size group, but we sat there for almost 3 hours waiting on drinks, food, receipts....as someone who lived in Atlanta and visited frequently this was ridiculous! read more

My party of 5 attempted to patronize this business tonight. The restaurant was busy. Alabama played today, so that is to be expected. There were people waiting to be seated in the small lobby area and I was informed by the greeter that there was about a 30 minute wait. Ok, no problem. We stood outside and waited. I was sent a greeting text at 7:07pm. At 7:47pm I go back inside to inquire about the wait after seeing a clear lobby, clean, available tables, and was told by the greeter that we were FIFTH, and he was on a "hold" management. I asked him to explain what he meant by this. He explained that the kitchen was backed up so they were temporarily closed and management wasn't allowing him to seat anyone. He couldn't say how long they would be closed, but he estimated that it would reopen in another 20 minutes. I didn't want to unleash my frustration on him b/c I know it wasn't his fault. This is a failure in management. If you know that you're backed up, you have people waiting, and you don't know when you'll reopen your kitchen...have the decency and respect to COMMUNICATE that to them so they can decide if they want to stay or not. You have my freaking phone number, it's not rocket science. Because we were extremely pissed off after wasting an hour and having no clarity on how much longer we'd have to wait, we left and went to a restaurant down the street. Upon being seated and ordering drinks, I received a text at 8:12pm saying our table was ready, followed by a phone call. All I can say is, they better be glad it was a robocall. Disgusted. read more
