So far so good, I know this is the new phase so I'll have to come back after the hype dies down. I had been wanting to come in here since I saw the large tv's from the outside when driving by. The first thing I noticed upon arrival, were the tv screens everywhere when I came inside. I loved the cheerfulness of the staff. Everyone looked happy to be here. Our waitress was very personable and down to earth. She did forget to automatically refill the water glasses, but most waitresses do if it's not soda. My food was pretty good. I ordered guacamole as an app, and my chips were warm and tasted great. The oil had a nice clean taste, no old oil taste which is a bonus. And the guacamole was flavorful and cool with just enough salt. My mango shrimp wrap was tasty as usual, even though the wrap ends were a little hard. Also my boyfriend loved his wings, but said the fries were a bit on the salty side. I ordered the side of macaroni and cheese for my son and he loved it. But That's no surprise because that's his favorite food this month lol. Overall I would come back for Lunch or during a game to watch from all Angles. Also I notice that they stay open until 1am every night except Sunday. Which is great because most things close at 11 around here. read more

Had one of the more disappointing experiences at a bar or eatery that we've had in a long time. The beer of the month at Taco Mac for January (2023) has been Dry County. They have four of the local Georgia (Kennesaw) brewery's beers on tap and I wanted to try them as we've not been able to get up north of the Atlanta to visit the brewery itself. I had their Lachuza Amber at a taco joint on Tybee Island earlier in the year and was quite impressed, so was hopeful the rest of their line up would be good as well. My wife and I always sit at the bar when it is just the two of us whenever we go to a restaurant or brewery that has a bar. Typically the service and the attention is better and the food comes out just as fast. We got to the McDonough Taco Mac a little after 4, and while there were patrons at the bar, it wasn't incredibly busy. The bartender, Kayla, provided food menus promptly but I picked up on a bit of snark when I asked for a beer menu and was informed I could scan the QR code on the sticker on the bar to get their beer menu. Now, there's nothing wrong with this and it has become quite common, but the problem I've found is that often the menu is not accurate and certainly doesn't keep up with beers that they've run out of. My wife ordered a Stella Artois and was promptly told they were out of that, so she just had water. I ordered basically a "flight" of 5 oz pours of the four Dry County beers they had on tap, which were delivered relatively promptly as well. After that our food order was taken, no issues. My wife liked the Dry County Lachuza, and was going to order a pint of that but never got the chance. In fact, once our food arrived, we got absolutely NO attention from Kayla for the next 20 to 30 minutes. My wife ordered their Philly cheese steak, which seemed to have no peppers and onions and very little cheese and wanted a fork to eat it with (she rarely eats the bread, or nibbles at it after consuming the interior). We sat and waited for about five minutes but Kayla was busy with the dishwasher or talking with other employees, but NOT interested in checking on her customers. I peered around and saw a flat ware set up on a table in the area and promptly snagged it so my wife could eat. I worked my way through the four 5 oz pours (with a little help from my wife) after two or three wings and was wanting another beer but Kayla had disappeared out to the patio area. Of course, 4:30 or so she was the only bartender on duty. When she finally came back in she after what seemed like about 10 minutes she pulled a check for one party that had asked for it before she even disappeared, asked a couple of people at the end of the bar that apparently were regulars as she knew their names if they wanted another beer and finally asked me. By that time I wasn't going to give anymore of my time or business to the restaurant and told her I did a while back but she had disappeared and I no longer wanted one, just a to go box and my check. I understand that restaurants are having staffing issues and a live body showing up pretty much trumps everything else, but SOME attention to customers who might not be regulars should be a minimal expectation. My wife and I will never be going back to this Taco Mac location - there are better options for both beer and wings (not to mention Philly cheese steak sandwiches) than here. And if you're not a regular and go to the bar a Kayla is on duty, I'd advise you to leave. read more

Totally recommend!!! Absolutely great service. The food tasted really fresh and was served quickly. I was a bit overwhelmed by the number of beers on tap but Kayla was so attentive and patient as we navigated the menu. She helped me with the beer menu. She even helped me setup the rewards app. Can't say enough about the service. Everyone was GREAT. Kornell was so sweet he checked on us made sure our food was good and chatted with us wonderful guy. Out of most beers. Wings were ordered extra crispy came out twenty minutes later and were soggy. Fried pickle side was greasy and bad. Carrots and celery were actually SLIMY. Did not eat after picking them up. Waiting now on re-make of extra crispy wings. The wings came out better but after another twenty minutes and no discount or friendly beer while I was waiting, won't be back. Several other customers sounded like there wasn't a "good vibe" today. Would probably avoid this location of Taco Mac and choose Zaxbys. Believe me, won't take an hour to get some good wings and will cost a lot less. read more

Glad to have this in Mcdonough. The sports bar setup looks great and the hours are pretty decent. I come here for the fries mozzarella stick and their hottest wings, forgot the name. I love spicy food and that sauce definitely does it for me. Prices are pretty normal for wings and Fries. Service is pretty slow in my opinion, if you want to get in and out without placing a to-go order then save your time and sit at the bar. read more

After an unfortunate waste of time this afternoon I finally remembered why I hadn't visited this location in over 2 years. Shyttiest lack of service thus far. Was told there would be a 15 minute wait for a table outside (smells like 50 senior citizens inside the restaurant...... can't eat in there) which turned into a 40 minute wait. After finally being seated after my husband's inquiry, we stopped a server and asked if she could find our server to take our order after waiting an additional 20 minutes. She said she would and literally came back and took the order of the patrons behind us who came in 15 min after we were already seated. Complete shit-show of no one taking accountability. This place just missed the mark 100% on my entire UberEats order and I'm kinda mad about it. They forgot to give my driver my drink. I got a refund for that. However the wings were just bland and poorly seasoned. My "Lemon Pepper Dry" barely had any seasoning on it. I could count the pepper flakes in a matter of 2 minutes if I wanted to. No lemon flavor AT ALL. Because they were so greedy with the seasoning it just tastes like I'm eating oil and diet-pepper on chicken. My fries were stiff because they were mostly cold and probably old. My driver only took 7-10 mins to get here, so those fries were put in the bag lukewarm or cold to begin with. The Asian Heat wings are okay I guess but there's really not much flavor in those either. The smallest bit of seasoning salt in the chicken before you fry it makes a world of difference. Season your chicken or your flour. Season SOMETHING though... don't just throw sauce on a bare cooked meat and call it "flavorful" because that's not how it works. I'm annoyed I spent money here. Ordered online for pick-up, got all the way home and missing several items. I understand that right now things are tough, but we've been in this mess for 2 months. They also recently reopened the inside for dine in so in my opinion, no excuse. Ordered tenders tossed in sauce, they were not. Ordered wings extra crispy, they were not. Also missing the celery and carrots that come with the meal. Ordered a side of the Parmesan Zucchini, did not receive this. Did not receive any of the dipping sauces. The wedge salad was missing the most important ingredient...the dressing! Not even on the side. We also arrived at our time, just a tad after and the food wasn't ready. Had to wait an extra 10 minutes yet others were coming in to pick up orders and received right away. This isn't the first time I've been with people who had issues with their orders and that was for dine-in. This is all unfortunate as my husband and I enjoy this franchise. I didn't know that they had to go the farm to find a chicken for the chicken sandwich but apparently so. Let's just say that the appeal of having/bringing certain establishments to the South Side is that you'd like to have and enjoy the same experience here as you've had at other locations (Midtown, Buckhead, Vinings) but when the experience that you have ten minutes from the house is lacking....let's just say the one on Roswell Road has figured it out. Went in for lunch today. We got there just before the lunch crowd came in and got our drinks, appetizer and meals ordered no problems. 45 minutes later, no food or appetizer. A waitress came by and asked how everything was going. We stated that it seemed a little too much time had passed and no food. She said she would check on our order. She quickly came back with an appetizer and it was not what we ordered. She sort of argued with us and took the food back and quickly brought back the correct appetizer Question, if she could get our correct appetizer this fast, why couldn't we get it in a timely manner to begin with? More time passed and the group behind us got their food even though they came in 15 minutes after us. When we made our frustration known to the waitress she argued and blamed the kitchen. Long story short, the waitress ignored us after this and the manager, Ken got involved. Ken apologized for the mix-up and comped our order. I understand that mistakes happen but the waitress could have owned the problem instead of blaming others and ignoring us. The food was descent and I will be back. First and foremost this is a great place, we frequent the McDonald's location at least three times a week when Chelsea is bartending or any of the other bartenders is bartending it's a great establishment they welcome you they speak to you they serve you. Today my experience in this location was horrible sit there for 10 minutes with the snooty bartender they won't even look up at acknowledge you're sitting there without a drink. I sit down and location for me and my wife she comes in snatches the menu out from in front of where my wife is sitting in the hands of somebody else as if my wife wasn't using that menu we order food every time we're in there when I confronted her about it and her snooty attitude she informs me that somebody else want to menu my wife just gone to the restroom to wash her hands prior to ordering her food to eat as we do every time we're at this location. I can say after the experience today I will never be back in another taco Mac.its a very sad thing to see this treatment to us or anybody else. We know this is NOT THE SERVICE THE STRIVE FOR. If this is the way they allow there customers to be treated our suggestion is not to go. I have been visiting this location for years now but my last visit was by far the worst. We arrived at 8:45 ...We waited an hour to receive a table . We were seated by the manager so that was a red flag in my mind. We sit down it takes the original waitress of the table at least 10 min to come greet us. She took our drink order and food order at the same time cause we were sitting long enough to know what we wanted. We only ordered a 30 piece chicken and 4 fries ....We even ordered an appetizer.
