Someone said it perfectly similar to chipotle, moes qdobo and Cabo. The main difference is they season there chicken and meat differently. I like this place however when there isn't a lot of customers the food sits out. Fresh guac and homemade tortilla chips are the best part of the meal AND all meals done with small bag of chips. The workers do not know what they should put inside the taco.... the combinations are literally on the menu. I got the same taco I had when I visited last time. Last time the workers knew what to put inside the taco. This time, when they asked me what to put inside the taco, I told them whatever is recommended. The combination they suggested tastes horrible... If they do not know what to recommend or what the suggested combinations are, then they should turn around, check the menu, and put them inside the taco-- instead of putting whatever. And the taco was slopply made-- too much cheese, barely any lettuce, etc. You shouldn't have to reassemble your taco when you are eating. Also, their queso tastes like cheap cheese. Review is based on similar places (chipotle, makes, Cabo fresh, qdoba). Very big portions at Taco joes. Prices are pretty much the same as competitors but portions are a lot larger and chips come with your meal you do not have to pay extra. I got a chicken bowl with a bunch of toppings. My critiques are 1. The chicken pieces were a bit too thick so they almost had a chewy texture 2. Their corn salsa is a red one as to where I prefer chipotles corn salsa that does not have actual salsa in it 3. Their hot salsa was just hot without any flavor. Overall I enjoyed my bowl and would go back. Their chips were also very good in comparison to their competitors! read more

Came here today when there was no line for 2 quesadillas. I completely forgot what kind of meat my bf wanted so I asked the large lady in front to make one for now. Went there because it was National Taco Day. The place is clean and airy - no problem getting a place to sit. The people working the counter were friendly and helpful. They were quick - which means they're good for lunch! I had the spicy chicken tacos. Three filled me up just fine - and I normally eat big meals. They guys I were with ordered the quesadillas and they were happy with the meals also. Take home message - if you're in Levittown and craving Mexican - stop by. You'll be glad you did! read more

Let's just start out with saying the Massapequa location is fantastic... when we had the issue and thought it was them they were willing to rectify the problem even though it was not their fault. Let's get to this Levittown location , if I could give them negative stars I would. My fiancé and I ordered dinner through door dash tonight. Got our food, sit down to eat it and it is completely inedible, the quesadilla's were full with jalapeños not the round circles (that the other locations use) full jalapeños sliced in 1/4's. We are good with spicy things but when it destroys the flavor of your food and can't eat it it's a problem. When I called the restaurant and spoke with the general manager Tobin, he told me there was nothing that he can do which then I said so I'm supposed to spend $53.48 for inedible food, and that is when he stated it's the way that they put jalapeños on their product. He also offered for us to get something off our bill next time we came in. I informed him if this is the way he handled issues we will not be a next time. After making an attempt to salvage what ever we could of our dinner I then noticed that there were carrots in my quesadilla!!!! No where on their menu does it have carrots as an option for any dish. At that point we threw out our dinner. I did also complain with door dash. Warning Levittown uses a lot of jalapeños!!! Proceed with caution! read more

I appreciate this business when it's optimal but the staff is impatient, communicates poorly, and items are taken off the menu before 8 o'clock which is a shame because they have great salad wraps. I worked at a Taco Joes years ago and again, it's a great product but this location needs more courtesy and stricter guidelines. read more

I have been a regular patron for a while now. What drew me to them is how its always busy when I pass them by. First off this is a very clean place with friendly staff a. You get your money's worth but beware if you order tacos your gonna get your hands dirty. Theyre loaded but equally fingerlickin good. I usually switch it up between their tacos, grand canyon or quesadillas depending on my level of hunger. It never disappoints. Protips: 1. The nachos and queso are really good and a great side order to have - 2. Dont go there if you are in a rush as there is almost always a line and not everyone on staff speaks fluent english and twhich i suspect also slows things down a bit when ordering) - I still highly recommend a visit for some good tasty food read more

I frequently eat here. Think its much better than any other taco type place. Imo, best to get burrito in the buff. Its meat rice and fixins in a container with no tortilla. wow does this place use dog food??? the food was some of the worst tasting tex mex food I have ever had. we ordered some tacos 2 with chicken and 2 with beef and 2 with steak. the chicken was so dry like they cooked it 2 weeks ago and reheated it in the microwave. like rubber, the lettuce in the taco was brown as could be. the steak was also so dried out, i bit into it and 3 days later I'm still chewing it LOL!!! i dumped the rest in my dogs bowl and he did not even eat it ( and he eats his own Poo). the ground meat was questionable also what no sure if it was meat ?? just over spiced oily gook!! i would never go to this place, mybe the worst food ever!!! read more

Been going to both this place and the Massapequa location for many years. I always get the Grand Canyon with Chicken. In the basic price I am entitled to guacamole but I never get guacamole. I do however get extra onions. My total is always $10.05 after tax. Today in Levittown, my total came to $11.89. I asked why so much and the lady said because of extra onions....... really? $1.84 more for onions? And I cant substitute onions for the always expensive guacamole? I told them I wanted a refund and that they are going to lose a long time customer now. They didnt care at all. Finally after telling me no at 1st, they did refund me. So they would rather throw out a burrito and lose a customer because they wanted to get extra money from me for onions. Awful business decision and I hope the owner sees this. Its a shame such ignorant people were put in charge there. Ill still go to the Massapequa one in the future. read more
