They have been open a while now and service is slow and they don't seem to care about cleaning tables or that they have customers. The food for the most part has been solid. Taco Tuesday's are $2.99 tacos and it's a good deal for what you get.

This location just ok. Glad to see they have the bean dip back as an appetizer. I love it so much I paid $16 for 16 oz. Lol. Taco Tuesday $1.99 tacos can't be beat. I took my food to go. Sorry no pics. Service was good, They have music in the background and one TV at the bar Signature cocktails and 4 or 5 beers on tap. I asked for Skinny Margarita. The bartender told me they couldn't make it because they didn't have an ingredient. I asked what ingredient, she couldn't tell me. I guessed the ingredient, simple syrup. I was simply shocked they didn't have it. Overall..just an ok experience.

With a deep menu of lots of authentic Mexican favorites, we were excited to try Taco Giro. Tucked into a strip mall, the restaurant is fairly large and there were only two other tables and some people sitting at the bar at 5p on a Sunday evening. We were seated promptly by a friendly server and ordered a house and a Cadillac margarita. The drinks were large, but very sweet and not very strong at all. They offered chips and salsa which were good, and the rest of our meal was good, but unremarkable. Service was a little slow and not terribly responsive, but since this is close to home we will definitely give Taco Giro another shot!

Taco Giro is one of my favorite Mexican restaurant in Tucson. Stop by and enjoy a drink and delicious authentic Mexican food . Don't forget to ask about the weekly menu specials.

Very good experience at Taco Grio today for an early dinner. Food was fresh and hot. Had the Shrimp Enchiladas and my friend had the grilled fish! Both tasted outstanding. Service was fast and friendly. Think they've gotten into their grove with the food and service. Looking forward to my next visit soon!

Nice, new, fresh, clean interior. A welcome addition to this shopping center. Dined here just once but will definitely be back. They have daily deals--I went on a Wednesday and got the enchiladas special for $6.99. Hard to beat, especially since it was quite a large serving. Service was friendly and I liked the chips and salsa they offer. Looking forward to trying other dishes.

Flan dessert was so good !!

Everything went well. Excellent service, excellent food and ambience. We were 7 ladies celebrating 3 of our October birthdays. Abby was our server and she was excellent. Food was served so quickly and it was so good. Margaritas are excellent as well. You won't be disappointed if you go there.

This is newly opened in our area. We were curious, we have seen the menu online and everything looked good, so we tried... Everyone is welcoming, as soon as we sat down staff had given us the menus and chips and salsa. Then someone came to our table to ask what we want to drink. Way too fast for me, cause I haven't looked into the menu yet! I found it really funny cause I asked our server a question about an entree on the menu and she responded, I don't know, that made me second guess her ability as our server...I wonder how they hire and train their employees?? Don't get me wrong but their food is okay, and they give a pretty good portion. A little pricey and they charge a fee if you use your credit card. Inside is still clean and new. Not too cramped with tables and chairs. They really have a big menu, and it makes it hard to decide. This could be a good place to earn and dine and also good for take aways.

I've read so many crazy reviews about this place, so we had to try it out. The avocado omelette I had was pretty good, I think enjoyed it. The portion was decent, I I took half of it home. The chorizo omelet wasn't bad either, it wasn't spicy enough for my husband but good enough for me cause I don't like spicy food. I would like to go back and try other things on the menu. Most of the reviews were about service and it's true, the servers were not as friendly as we would want them to me. At least they should introduce themselves!?! After a while they started to be a little friendlier, I think maybe they have angry patrons??? It's kind of not really what I expected when I look at the menu prices and the esthetics of the restaurant - It may be a little pricey, but I'm willing to give it another try.

Great seafood! The drinks are fun and very pretty and put together. The seafood tower I've always wanted to try. Definitely enough food for two days. We have great service experience but sat at the bar and went during the week. No issues at all!

First time coming here and overall it was pretty good. The menu is very extensive (sorry I didn't take photos of it, I'll do it next time). We sat at the bar and got served right away. We had a few beers on tap and shared the Molcajete Mixto, which was HUGE! So, I'm glad we shared. This is a fun variation of fajitas. This place would be good for a larger group and the table should order a bunch of different plates and drinks to share. Overall, we enjoyed it, not the best Mexican food in town, but still pretty good and crazy fun drinks!

We were greeted by a giant statue of a unicorn zebra and of course took a selfie. We then went to the bar area and absolutely loved the dark speakeasy vibes. Mine even came in a zebra mug. We also learned that this bar has both an upstairs and downstairs area. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and headed home. This place left such an impression that we have been back two times since. On another occasion we had Nate the bartender. He had a lovely personality and accommodated all of the guests that came in near closing. We enjoyed Santa's Banana Hammock and Unicorn Ski Accident. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem. These drinks are innovative, thoughtful, and aesthetically pleasing in a way that leaves you excited for more and expands one's idea of a well-made libation. Inspired by a medley of global flavors, Juniper started off as a side project from a local brewery and unexpectedly exploded into a swanky hangout with zero seats left open on weekend nights. Yes, virtually everything on the menu is gin-based. But that shouldn't scare you away! Gin is essentially a neutral spirit infused with botanicals and/or citrus, so if you had a bad experience with one brand, there will be another out there you'll fall in love with. Elliott, the General Manager of the bar, elevates the passionate curation of his menu to perfection. Here are some examples of what you might fall in love with: Balzy Maracuya: A 'maracuya' is a passion fruit beverage originating from South America. At the turn of each new year, there's a menu rotation that may sadly remove some of my faves. But here, at Juniper I can guarantee two things: Something uniquely enjoyable, and a gracious staff that will be happy to explain the intricacies of lesser-known spirits on the shelf.
