It is about time we get Taco Casa (if we aren't going to get Del Taco). This is as close to West Coast fast Mexican as we can find, especially now that Del Taco in Ft. Worth is closed. So far everything here has been perfect! So pleased too that the first of these out posts opened in Cypress rather than some other distant and potentially more trendy part of town. Thankfully Taco Casa understands that there are folks interested in delicious fast Mexican food who aren't inside the loop. Taco lights are lit, as my son says. Burritos are fat and delicious, with enough shredded cheese to keep a family of mice happy for months. My only three beefs with this location are: 1. Your Taco Casa salsa is terrible, in the packets. 2. You don't have guacamole 3. You aren't Del Taco Yum! read more

The food at Taco Casa is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared The menus options are an excellent value. The dining experience overall is very pleasant. Justin the young man that took our order was very friendly and nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. During our dining experience he came to our table to see if we needed anything else. It's not my favorite Mexican fast food, but not the worst I've had. Everything is kinda the same: some kind of tortilla, not enough beef, too much cheese, lots of beans, olives, and optional lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. The soft taco was my preference of the 3 things I tried. No chicken or vegetarian options that I saw. Prices okay - not great not bad. Employees friendly. In this parking lot, I'd choose Zaxby's. To note: this concept of "too much cheese" initially seemed flawed to me as well, but on the "Chilada" it really is more than I can eat...it really was. read more

Went through the drive thru to order. A young lady took my order and was very patient with my complex order. I pulled to the window and waited for ten minutes for my food. While waiting a young gentleman pops open the window and says 'you been charged yet?' And I replied yes. He then shuts the window and opens it back up and says very rudely, 'here's your food' and slammed the drive thru window. I get to my destination (less than a mile away) and find my burrito slightly cold and nachos super soggy. Definitely not impressed with the customer service at this location! read more

I had eaten at a Taco Casa years ago in a tiny Texas town. So when they came to our area, I was pumped. They couldn't make a better tostada or taco! LOL! It is always so good. The service is sometimes off - not in that anyone is rude - they never are. It just can be super slow even when dead or we have noticed people standing around, with a long line. Overall though, we love it and are glad they are here! It is a great alternative to some of the other fast food taco chains. read more

Ordered 12 tacos + 1 order of nachos here Friday 6/7/19 around 1:30pm. All the ingredients inside the tacos were awesome! The shells and chips were stale unfortunately. How are they serving stale shells and chips at an establishment that has such high volume? I would think they would fry off this product in the am keeping it fresh. Pretty sure I got an old batch from another day. Please throw away your inventory at the end of the day, and make fresh inventory in the morning or before your high volume shifts. Ok, so we find this taco place traveling in Texas and it's sooooo good so when we found out there was going to be a Taco Casa 30 mins away from my house we were ecstatic. The few times we came it was just as awesome as the ones on the highways but lately this location has been going downhill. Franchise owner, please have a talk with your staff, they are giving this Taco Casa a bad rap. Food is great, can still be great but you're employing a bunch of slackers. Why you ask? Because the dining area smells like dirty mop, because my food came out sloppy and I get beans on one sidE of my chilada and meat on the other. I visited Taco Casa today for the first time. I have been craving nachos. Read the reviews and they were pretty good. So I go through the the drive thru to place my order. I ordered the super nachos with refried beans and jalapenos on the side. Their customer service is exceptional but unfortunately the nachos was not. You get a plentiful order, it was piping hot seeming fresh but it tasted so bland. No flavor at all! Not even a pinch of salt added. The chips were stale. I was truly disappointed. Honestly: the service was trash. They were so dry to me. No excitement. Just dry. They took FORVER to open up the window for me to pay. Then they charge .99 for large cup water. Who does that? It's water. You make money off of everything else. Now the food. Sorry the burrito was trash. I literally watched the guy through the window just dump everything into the burrito. This location is by far the worst that I've ever been to. They're so shallow with the meat.. they add more lettuce than anything.. the grease doesn't even drip like the other locations.. and it's never as hot as the other locations, nor well seasoned. Their associates don't even greet you when you come in, they just stare at you. They all look like they're in their freshman year of high school. Don't get me started on the waiting line.. This was truly disgusting!!!!! The tacos looked and tasted like they had been sitting up for a few hours! The super taco shells were old, chewy, and stale. The regular taco shell was also stale. First time here wasn't great, ordered the nachos and two tacos. Took 15 mins to receive, the employees making the food seem to have no urgency. As for the nachos, i wasn't a fan of how they toss the meat on one side, beans on the other so basically the nachos aren't incorporated with the toppings. They weren't bad but comparable to stadium nachos at best. The meat didn't have much flavor so i had to add sauce to add flavor. The building is beautiful, but the food doesn't match the decor. I can't stand taco bell. This is my favorite place to get tostada's and super salad. The meat taste like homemade ground beef and the beans taste fresh as well. It's so cheap too for what you get.On Tuesdays you get a free taco. I stop here once a week after class and to bring my family and friends. My husband had the burrito and he said this is amazing. The food is always lukewarm to cold, doesn't carry home well, and the staff just doesn't care anymore... I'm impressed! I sat in the drive thru for over 30 minutes (with only 6 cars in front of me) and when I got to the window it took another 5 minutes to get my order. I know you're asking, "why is he impressed if it took so long to get the food?" I'm impressed that I was able to watch 4 employees stand around talking while making one item every few minutes. Then the shift manager finally took a break from talking with the rest of the crew and came to the window to hand out the bag of food to only say "sorry about the wait, here are some coupons." His name was Miracle and it is a miracle he is put in charge of the shift, but it doesn't seem like the rest of the store seems to care about service so maybe it's not that impressive that he runs the playground at night. read more
