Extra cheese, because why not?
Andrew W.

It's nostalgic. It's what taco bell used to be. Taco casa isn't perfect, but they have the best crispy tacos around.

No one there

Food is pretty good. service is awful Service is awful. teenagers running the place and could care less about helping you. Using curse words to each other and just very unprofessional. the last time I was there bout a week ago, I walked in and no one was anywhere to be seen behind the counter. I said loudly, "HELLO" about 20 times. No one every came to the counter. I finally just left. I guess they are unconcerned about being robbed.

The worst manager of all time.
Brandon S.

Where do I start? I walk in and ask the kid filling a drink if they do Apple Pay and he tells me he's too busy making a drink. I should've left then but unfortunately I didn't. Next the woman running the show there is absolutely horrible to customers and the employees. She was yelling at both and was an absolute unprofessional bitch all around. Me and 3 other customers were talking about how terrible she was and what a horrible person she was. I won't be back here again.

Less Meat and cheese than other locations Sadly, this particular location has gone from Great to very Poor. I am a loyal customer and I've been going to taco Casa's all around the metroplex for years. This particular one is close to my home So I go here more often But lately, the tacos have been getting lighter and lighter. By that, I mean less meat and cheese each time I go here It is no longer what I've come to expect from Taco Casa. If something doesn't change quickly, they are going to lose the vast majority of their customer base. The attached picture is not an exaggeration I did not alter the taco in anyway I decided today that I would take a picture the moment I got home because I've been more and more frustrated each time going here

Super taco with no tomatoes

Favorite place to get hard shelled tacos. Seems like this location is more generous with portions than the Plano location. My favorite is the Super Taco with no tomatoes. I highly recommend!

I love this TACO CASA. The food is always good. People are friendly. I always get napkins in the bag. Never experienced a problem here.

I'll be honest,, it's pretty hard to impress me with Mexican food. I was raised in California,…read morewhere I had had neighbors, whose parents and grandparents made some of the best food I've ever had in my life. Living in Texas I've seen some good and I've seen some not so great so I never really get enthused because nothing ever really stands out. Lupe tortilla; right here in Allen, was a difference maker. When I walked in, I could smell the difference. We were greeted immediately, and the service was impeccable, our server was attentive and explained any questions we had on the menu and made suggestions, but was not too intrusive. I think right now is a great time to mention how delicious the salsa was, you get chips, salsa, and a little container of pinto beans with something in them that I can't explain other than magic. I was fearful that I might stuff myself to content before my meal was ordered. My friend has been here before and order the fajitas, I typically ordered enchiladas my first time at any Mexican restaurant just to gauge where they stand. We both had big gigantic margaritas as well, and they did not disappoint. The food was delicious, I couldn't stop staring at my friend fajitas either, which looked as though they could feed a family. The feel there is very relaxed and family oriented, so I was able to have a great seat and have a great conversation with a friend in a very relaxing clean location that had great service. I have to say as of today, this is my number one spot for Mexican food in Allen easily and can't wait to bring my family here.. go figure, today after Cinco de Mayo and I've changed my Allen traditions.

The ambiance is lively but relaxed, great for a casual weekend brunch, and the service is always friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. My all-time favorite is the Eggs & Enchiladas plate--you can choose beef or cheese, and it never disappoints. If you don't know what to get, try this!! We also tried the Barbacoa Benedict, topped with a lime-chili hollandaise that was pretty good. After one bite of my husband's enchiladas though, I immediately wanted to trade... so we ended up sharing everything (no regrets). And don't skip the pancakes...they're HUGE. We got the Strawberry pancakes that have a strawberry margarita sauce. Definitely come hungry or plan to share. If you're looking for a brunch spot that's fun, filling, and full of flavor, Lupe's is a great choice!

The tables and floors are dirty with flakes of food. Just down right dirty. Ugh. Not sure when they ever wipe them down, if ever. Of all the tables on several visits I couldn't find a clean table to sit and eat. It's a taqueria? But, still offer table seating. I'm so confused. Not the usual spotless Mexican kitchen. The floors are dirty. Ugh. Crumbs all over the floor and it's sticky. I think most folks use Uber Eats. That's why they don't have a standard inside. Usually, kids, and I mean kids 16 and younger are running the counter and kitchen. The bottles are never wiped down. Caked on food on ketchup, green sauce, and red sauce bottles. Thus far I've not gotten sick. They don't speak English, but then I don't speak Spanish. So it's a wash! I'll probably go back. And pray every time I don't get sick. Thus far I've dodged the bullet! I'd like to support a small business. However, the prices are stupid crazy! Salsa and chips are $5.50. Refills are $1 each time for salsa. Pay up front too. Then they serve you. Don't expect refills either you have to pay first. ( I still leave a tip, but probably shouldn't). Food is always decent! Just know when eating in, it's not up to expectations as a consumer. Make your own judgments. Sticking to Uber eats may be your best bet! That way you don't see what really goes on inside this establishment. June-September 2024

Our server, Darcy, was friendly and did a great job. I had chicken sour cream enchiladas and my wife had beef fajitas. Our food quickly appeared and it was attacked. My wife isn't a guac girl so I had some creamy tasty guacamole with my meal. My enchiladas came with jalapeños and I requested extra. Both meals were sensational and service was top notch. We've been to Salsa Tex Mex before but I never reviewed it before today. Salsa has become our favorite Tex Mex restaurant in Allen with great food, price and service. Y'all check em

It seems like an older couple is managing, or trying to run this location but they don't have a grasp on the business. There is no flow to the service and no strategy. We ordered queso and mushrooms and opted to have the steak added for $2. He charged us for a full side for $11. Got the carnitas tacos but they were dry. I'm guessing they were a day or two old and reheated. The only thing that was decent the chips but the beans were cold. Hard pass on this location. We'll stick with the Prosper location.

It's a typical Mexican restaurant, the flavors are good, they have excellent salsa and their specialty queso with guacamole and sour cream mixed in with some meat is very good. Overall the food is good, it's not amazing. And their service is a little inconsistent, but not bad all around. It's a very nice atmosphere, good ambience for a family style Mexican restaurant. It is definitely a Tex-Mex style, not an authentic style type restaurant. If you're looking for a place for decent food and nice casual dining, this is a great place.

When we walked in, the restaurant was very loud. The tile floors and packed dining room made the acoustics pretty intense, so conversation at the table took some effort. It also took about five minutes for our waitress to initially greet us and take our drink order. That said, once she came by, she was extremely polite and attentive for the rest of our visit, which we appreciated. We ordered the half-pound fajitas, and those were definitely the highlight. They came out quickly, were well-cooked, and were more than enough for two people to share. Portion size was generous. One thing we noticed was the limited soft drink selection, though they do offer a large variety of alcoholic beverages. Overall, it was a decent experience, but nothing really wowed us on this visit. We're glad we finally tried it after all these years, but we're not sure it'll become a regular spot for us.
