Overpriced food. Ordered the shrimp burrito to go. It was a small burrito, lots more wrap than filling that was mediocre for the price. The already small burrito did not have a good shrimp to rice ratio. Pico de gallo was not crisp and fresh; more like a jarred salsa. May go in for a drink but not for food. First visit to this establishment as we were seeking somewhere new for "Taco Tuesday." Upon entering, I noticed it wasn't busy. The restaurant was clean but small and had open seats. Seated quickly offered to sit at the bar or high top seats. It was explained we could scan the menu on the table or view the paper menu she provided. We opted for the paper menu. Our waiter greeted us with a warm smile and had chips and salsa in tow. Discussed menu options to include Happy Hour drinks which I opted for something that wasn't on the menu, (pineapple margarita) but, our amazing waiter requested it from the bar and it didn't disappoint. Although rail, the drink was well made.. He ordered the fish fry meal which he stated had a good flavor. He tried the salsa verde which nearly took his breath - not in a bad way, as he's a glutton for punishment. I ordered the steak burrito which was flavorful and packed with steak. So today was our first time here. We wanted to try a new place for happy hour margaritas and tacos. I was very underwhelmed when the happy hour margaritas arrived. They were extremely synthetic and had little to no taste. I could only drink half of mine due to my stomach hurting because of the low quality ingredients. While I understand it's a happy hour margarita, I have been to many many places with more high quality happy hour margaritas. We ordered 2 tacos and they were 8/10. The bar tender was nice, but I would not come back due to the drinks and food. I will continue to go to Taco Love. Happy hour menu features tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and many margarita flavors that are all delicious and well priced. Every other time I order chicken items, I have been served steak which I do not eat. The server always corrects the issue, but I do end up waiting extra time for my food. Service is friendly, but on the slower side. The food has always been worth the wait though! The interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated with many seating options at the bar, high tops, tables as well as booths. We got delivery from GrubHub from Taco Bravo this past week. Had the Family Taco Platter (5 Al Pastor and 5 Lamb Barbacoa- $35), Bravo Chicken Nachos ($10), and a side of house guacamole ($4). In a word DELICIOUS!! The Brave Chicken Nachos were so filling and was a generous portion. The chicken toppings were cut in little squares and had a little bit of a surprising spicy kick to them. Loved the generous jalapeños as well. The chips were crisp not soggy even though it was delivered! The Family Taco Platter was great value we thought- the al pastor with pineapple was flavorful and filling. Love the Barbacoa tacos (not as much on the fatty side I would like though) this is one of our go to favorites. The side of guacamole was fresh and solidly good. I was shopping in this area and remembered this place was in my Bookmark. Nice Restaurant located in a Shopping Center, they have outdoor seating if you don't want to eat inside. The Restaurant decor is very nice. The Dining Room was empty, the Customers eating there, were seated outside. We chose the Fish Tacos, Steak Quesadilla, and Southwest Spring Rolls, everything was good. Only thing I didn't like was the small portions of Beans and Rice. This was our second time here! It's Saturday night and we needed a table for 6. We were waiting and a couple walked in and went right to a 4 seat table. They were going to give us one of those tables to extend a 4 seater so Justin spoke with them and they left, but he did the right thing by us! We had Nick as our server and he was excellent. Thanked us for our patience and gave us excellent service. The food was outstanding, service was attentive, and overall we will be back. You can't go wrong here and the pricing is fair. This spot is a hidden gem. I first visit here with some coworkers and was pleasantly surprised. Second visit didn't disappoint either. Initially I assumed it was a franchise created by the Casa Migos Tequila people based on similarities with their logos. This newer Timonium tex-mex spot is definitely a nice competitor. The interior décor is beautiful for starters. Very bright and festive. I recommend their peach mojito, super delicious and efficient. I opted to try 3 different types of tacos (chicken, fish and shrimp) and the chicken was my favorite. The fish could have been better seasoned and the shrimp. If you are looking for some delicious tacos and drinks get over to Taco Bravo now! Tacos and tequila are my fave so when I saw this spot I knew I would be in there soon! I went on a Sunday night and they were at capacity (due to COVID regulations that is 50%). They were extremely friendly and served us well even with being short on staff. The environment was amazing, people laughing, eating, and just having a great time! Parking is a general lot as this restaurant is in a shopping center! They have a pretty big bar but with flat screen TVs but we sat in a booth as a preference for the evening. I ordered 3 tacos (al pastor, carnitas, and lamb) and they were flavorful, tender, and unforgettable! The tortilla was so light and fluffy not stiff like some I've experienced. The guacamole was delicious as fresh. The salsa and chips were so good! The chips were light and crisp to perfection! My boyfriend got the steak burrito with extra cheese and he loved it. That came with shoestring fries and I normally don't like that cut of fries but these were so good! For desert I got the churros. These things were fluffy on the inside and fried deliciousness On the outside. I want to go back and get something different every time until I've eaten the entire menu. The drinks!!!! We got the Cabo Wabo flight (as suggested by our waitress). It came with a blanco, reposado and anejo. This was an experience that taught me that I still love reposado the best lolll but we took them and poured them into our Strawberry crush drinks (that already is a mixed drink) for some extra kick. In Baltimore to visit with my daughter, and met her crew here for music bingo on Saturday night. Won't be making the same mistake ever again, nor will the 4 other people in our party. I had the chorizo taco meal with black beans and rice, with an ice-cold Dos Equis Amber, all of which were excellent. The service, however, was atrocious. Server often disappeared and wasn't available, and requests took forever to fulfill. The kicker was at the end of dinner. As there were 5 of us, and 4 individual parties, separate checks were requested. We were informed by our server that she couldn't split the checks, but she could take separate payments from each party. The restaurant adds a mandatory gratuity to any parties of 6 or more, and to any check over $100. I tend to believe that the added gratuity was the reason our check wasn't split, as the service was such that the tip wouldn't have been nearly as much if we had tipped on our own checks. Found out shortly after we left that checks could have been easily split, which simply confirms this. Taco Bravo has lost 4 local and one intermittent customers. read more

Rating 7/10. Taco Bravo is a great spot with great food and drinks. Despite the lack of service, I would have given the place an 8/10. When I arrived at the restaurant, it took forever to be seated. Keep in mind that the Taco Bravo was pretty empty on this particular rainy night. Nevertheless, it took 10-15 minutes to get a table and another 15 minutes for the waitress to bring water and utensils. Unfortunately, the waitress never offered us free salsa and chips, which should have been provided, until I brought it to her attention. Yet, everyone else was offered the free salsa and chips. Anyway, I didn't let it ruin my night because I was excited to try a new restaurant in my area and was hungry. Despite the slow/poor customer service, I guess I would recommend Taco Braco, especially for happy hour (only because the burrito was delicious). The prices are reasonable with a decent amount of food and great drinks. My son and I went there yesterday for some dinner and sat by the window. We didn't have the best experience. This restaurant is a bit over priced in my opinion for the type of cuisine that they serve. They charge $6 for a taco and they were mediocre at best. It cost my son and I $46 to eat, which is absurd for Mexican food. El Salto blows this place out of the water. The portions are small and not generous for the cost. They barely gave me any rice and beans. Their guacamole was decent, but not authentic. I ordered sour cream, which did not come with the entree size taco dinner and it came out in a tiny ramekin and it was warm. They only give you a small container of green sauce with your three tacos. That's part of the experience in drinking. This place serves Mexican cuisine AND is a Tequila Bar... They could at least invest in traditional glasses. But.... the Margarita was good! Next i ordered Quacamole and chips. Now here's where this place starts to shine. The quac was seasoned well and was a good portion. It looked homemade so that was a plus. The quac i would get again. Next up was the fried fish tacos. I got 3 of them with black beans and rice. Let me just start off by saying I was not expecting to see such huge pieces of fish! They were ginormous fish tacos! Whitefish, dry cabbage, and a house sauce. I was thankful that the sauce was sparingly added. Some places slather it on, too messy. The fish tacos were a winner! Definitely getting them again. Not a lot of batter, not greasy, and plenty of white meat fish. Everyone working there was friendly and very attentive. I felt welcome there and not rushed to leave. Always wanted to see what the buzz was about so I stopped in for some evening drinks. This spot though tiny is huge. If wasn't as packed when I came in so got a seat at the bar. It has wonderful decor great clientele all having a good time. Server was wonderful in explaining the menu and the specials. Chips and dip were ahmazing!!! Spice from afar and hot chips. They have tequila specials and their meals are yummeeee! I had a chicken burrito. After some time it started rolling with customers and by the time I was leaving, it was packed. Birthday party at the corner, bar fully packed and multiple groups here and there. Their bathrooms are tucked in the back with no specifics gents or ladies just several general restrooms which were clean and fresh smelling. Well, I used to like this place. Probably 5th time I've been there. Service is always slow but the food is usually decent enough. Tonight there was a $6 charge on my bill for PPE. I asked about it and was told it's because they are using paper plates and plastic forks. I get that it is a bit more expensive for these items, but that's ridiculous. I could go to the warehouse store around the corner and buy a days worth of paper plates and plastic forks for $6. I hope the $6 was worth it. I will not be back. read more
