This Taco Bell is one of the better ones around and serves some pretty decent fast food with service being usually pretty quick and somewhat efficient ( for a T.B.). They get the job done when I'm in the mood for fast tacos especially the late night trips to the drive thru window. I definitely get my Munch on here.

And the bean burrito Technically gets 2 thumbs up... but the other thumb is taking the picture! Warm & gooey cheese, soft & seasoned beans!

I literally cum every time I am in the presence of a cheesy gordita crunch, a beefy 5 layer burrito or a crunch wrap supreme.

There is a full bar which is huge and can make any drink you wish. They have some excellent specialty cocktails. We ordered the guacamole and chips before ordering delicious entrees. We also got the corn and split it so we had room for dinner. I had the rib eye special with a chimichurri sauce, spinach mashed potatoes, and veggies. The steak was perfectly medium rare and the sauce was perfection. I never had spinach mash before but felt good about getting some extra iron in my carbs. I didn't love the zucchini, (weird taste) but the other veggies were fine. My friend picked the burger and fries to satisfy their beef craving. The fries were crispy and perfect while my friend said her burger was excellent. Other friend went for the salmon and veggies, she enjoyed it and had to bring some home because it was a big serving. Last friend got the chicken rice bowl special and opted for grilled chicken instead of fried. They were super accommodating about making changes so we had exactly what we wanted. Again, big portion so she is excited to have lunch tomorrow. The music is very lively and the service is excellent. Be sure to stop in but do make reservations. We decided to grab dessert and had the lemon raspberry cake plus some of the homemade sorbet. One cappuccino and a cup of tea made us all happy and we enjoyed a nice leisurely meal. My friends had not been here before and we all plan on coming back soon. There was valet parking, so be aware and bring some cash for tips if you are so inclined.

Our food came out good, but shrimp in tacos was bland, add on chicken in Cesar salad over salted (on a bed of halves of whole romaine lettuce). Drinks were fine. Reasonable prices.

I've been recommended this place more times that I can count, so I finally made my way to Fresco…read moreMexican and was not disappointed. Food: I ordered their Cajun chicken quesadillas, which not only felt strangely authentic because of the style preparation, but it's the first time I've ever seen someone season the tortilla which I loved. Aesthetic: lots of seating both inside and outside, pretty simple set up. Service: having multiple people come to the table and help grab things, give us water, and provide us with the food was nice. Felt like a well oiled machine.

My wife and I found ourselves with nothing to do on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, so we ventured to…read morenearby Chester to get some Mexican. Our regular "go to" places are either Don Jose in Netcong, or the Chapala Grill in Hopatcong. Both are great, with the latter being the upscale and expensive option. On this day, we tried Fresco as we had heard a lot about it. Upon arrival, I was immediately disappointed that we didn't bring our little Chihuahua, as it is pet friendly and a family of four were dining with their chi resting in a stroller on the outside porch seating area. Should we return, we will bring ours. We started with a Queso appetizer ($11.95), and of course they brought the usual complimentary chips and salsa. I liked that they had three sauces to offer, one being more of a pico with fresh chunks of onion and tomatoes, the other two thin sauces with one of them being hot. Very hot, I liked it. The chips were interesting, not your usual larger thin chips, these were thicker and smaller wedge style. They were okay, but I prefer the traditional. I"m not certain I can confirm that they were baked on premises, they didn't seem to have that quality. The queso dip was quite good, thick and creamy when hot, and spread nicely over the tortillas that accompanied it. This establishment uses corn tortillas, probably because I believe they are more authentic to true Mexican cuisine. My own personal preference is flour tortillas for both flavor and texture. As a side note, before anything arrived, our server placed a dish on our table and walked away. It looked to be some type of avocado dish, but wasn't sure. I didn't pay full attention to what my wife ordered, so I dug in and grabbed a piece. It was then that the waiter came back, I think he realized that he put the wrong dish on the table, and took it away noting a piece missing. They brought it back to the kitchen area, NOT to the other table....but still. In my 35 years of dining experience, they should have owned that error and simply left it as it was touched by a customer. To take it back and (perhaps) throw it away was bad form, in my opinion. Our meals arrived quickly, she ordered a chimichanga ($15.95) and I ordered the steak fajitas ($21.95). I should have known what to expect when the server never asked me how I like my steak, which is a consistent question in the other two venues I referenced earlier. The strips of meat were very thin, and very well done as opposed to the medium rare I prefer. Accompanied by traditional onions and peppers, but they were not served on a sizzling plate which is always a nice presentation. They were surrounded by a more than ample serving of yellow rice and refried beans. Again, corn tortillas were presented and not enough of them. They never include enough to fully stock the other ingredients provided. My wife didn't care for her chimi, and I didn't either as I reheated it at home the next day. She asked for it sans beans, so perhaps that was the issue but it was overly stuffed with way too much rice to meat ratio, and the meat included was rather bland ground beef. The outside should have shown evidence of being deep fried, but it was softer and the color was off...like it never saw the oil. That's what a Chimi is, basically...a deep fried burrito. It was off, not a great first representation. The young servers were just great, no complaints about service beyond removing that one incorrect dish. They do offer a better price for cash, but it's really a removal of the service charge placed on the bill should you use a card. Jury is out if we would return. If we did, I would bring my dog and a pack of flour tortillas! It is BYOB, which is nice.
