For a fast food joint (and historically not my favorite chain) it wasn't terrible. After being convinced by some teenagers to make a stop we ventured in for our culinary fine dining experience. It had been so long since I've been to a Taco Bell I did not know you literally stand at a monitor and place your own order. Cheaper? Faster? Not sure, but impersonal for sure. The only human contact made was with the employee who shouted my name when our meal was ready to be picked up at the counter. The positives: our order was correct, our food was hot, and I thought the free cheap holiday peppermints left on each table in the restaurant was a cheesy nice touch (hey, you don't see that often). Just one more vote for the worst Taco Bell in America. I've been to this location twice. Both visits were around 12:30pm, with virtually no drive through traffic and zero customers inside (should have been my clue). Both very small, basic orders took forever to complete. The first was about 21 minutes, the second was admittedly just under 10min but there appeared to only be one other customer at the location. But the second time, I chomped down on a 1/2 inch piece of a thick plastic bag inside a bean burrito. I spit it out and threw the rest of the food away. Probably the worst fast food experience I've ever had. I arrived at 5:22 PM on December 10th, I am writing this review at 5:58 PM and I have not seen my food yet. There are two orders ahead of me along with doordashers sitting waiting for their food. I don't know if they just hire the nearest looking homeless person off the street but no one in here is competent at their job. Fast food should not take more than 10 minutes to come out, and as I finish this review I will reach 40. There is more effort in this review than the employees show in their work. I've been coming to this location for about 8 years now. It goes through waves, sometimes it'll be good for awhile, then you'll have nothing but problems for awhile, probably a staffing/management issue. Lately, I've enjoyed the crew very much, they are friendly and competent. Service seems to have slowed a bit in the last few months, but I'll trade waiting an extra minute for getting home with a correct order and having the food be good quality (well, taco bell quality). read more

Lots of signs saying they are open for breakfast. I went there today at 7:30 (prime breakfast time) and waited to order at the drive through. I ordered a black bean burrito with potato and a seven layer burrito. Both items had serious flaws. The black bean burrito had no potatoes. I was charged for them but alas the burrito was spud-free. That was the less grievous of the crimes committed in my order. The seven layer burrito was an insult to everything culinary. There were only two layers, a sad smattering of refried beans and rice dumped in the midst. That is all. There are five layers that remain mysteriously lost. Forevermore. Really neat experience. Locked doors. Crazy lines in the drive through. This was my second trip to Taco Bell. About 10 years ago when we moved into the area I stopped by and ended up waiting in the drive through for about 20 minutes and there were only about 2 cars in front of me. This time the door the doors we locked and there were an insane amount of cars in the drive through. Another customer let us in and one of the teenage employees said that it was going to be a long wait because it was just two employees. I didn't stay. I emailed Taco Bell and was ignored. Always out of something. Whether it be ground beef more than 5 times in the last six months, more than one type of drink out at once or things specific to promotional items (tonight it was nachos). I ended up ordering a Crunchwrap meal and they didn't put nacho cheese sauce on it, and my taco had no cheese. Friendliness of staff is rare. They skimp on portions and they don't care about the appearance/ finished product . Literally the last 10 times I've been there they have been out of something. Ridiculous. I'm assuming my order was unacceptable tonight because I made a remark that they are always out of something and the girl just chose Pepsi for me to drink without asking and told me the total and I asked for a Gatorade. If I could give it no stars I would. I ordered through the app and when we arrived the front doors were locked..... at 7pm when their hours say they are open until 1 am. We had no way of knowing that they were trying to close and the order went through in the app so we went to the drive through. Sat there for 30 minutes and no one told us anything. Pulled up to the window and A women named Sydney proceeded to be extremely rude and told us to go to 87th street and said they "closed at 7" and when I asked why they were closed so early she responded aggressively that they "got authorization". Again there was no way for me to know that they were trying to close early and they appeared to have at least 5 employees minimum there. If you ask me I feel like the employees close when they want to and are completely incompetent. Alls it would have taken us for one of them to go outside and tell people they were trying to close, but instead they let people sit in their drive through for an hour, and then had proceeded to be extremely rude. And we didn't even get our food that we payed for. The other employees working there were nice but Sydney was the worst. Go to 87th street location, it's way better. read more

This location is by far the worst on the map for Taco Bell. What's also sad is that there are reviews dating back 4-5 years ago with the same exact experience that we had so you can tell they have worked really hard to improve...j/k. There were 3 cars in front of us in the drive thru so it shouldn't have taken that long to make it through, but we sat there for 35 minutes! 35 MINUTES! Once you're in line, there's no way to escape the ridiculousness either. When we finally made it to the window to pick up 2 of the new "Power Burritos", they were disgusting. Ideally, we paid for 2 cold tortillas wrapped with sour cream and some lettuce inside. I ordered chicken and my wife ordered steak. How neither one of them came with the meat is still a mystery to me or how in the world the employees think that this is how the food is to be prepared. We ended up tossing them out 2 bites in because they were absolutely awful. We will make sure to never visit this location ever again. read more
