Good food and service is always. The barbecue bacon chicken was smarter than barbecue sauce, which is what I like. I made the mistake of upgrading the fries and drink and that was just too much for me. It is a little strange how you walked past the door to the main entrance From the parking lot. Interior is always spotless.

My opening day drive-thru experience included the same friendly, efficient and professional staff and delicious food that I have come to expect from the highest rated fast food chain in America. This new location offers two covered drive-thru order lanes with two covered pickup lanes (the first time I've seen that) and a patio. The dining area remains closed until they can fully staff up. I hope this new location will take some of the pressure off other nearby locations, which always seem to have long drive-thru lines during lunch. Very nice.

I stopped by early morning to grab some breakfast! I ordered an egg white chicken sandwich and a yogurt parfait. The total for both items was over $10. I was extremely disappointed with portion sizes. For a nearly $5 yogurt parfait it was not worth it at all- especially with TWO WHOLE BLUEBERRIES. No follow up either after calling. At least the sandwich was fresh.

There was a long ass hair in my bag. I got a 'spicy' chicken sandwich that was clearly microwaved(definitely not the first time microwaved).

The nostalgia hit me the moment I walked in, it genuinely felt like I was back in Korea, enjoying fried chicken with a cold beer in chilled glasses. From the atmosphere to the food and overall quality, everything felt authentic. We started with the onion rings ($8) with some beer and Diet Coke, followed by 10 garlic soy spicy wings ($12+) and the spicy pork rice topped with a fried egg ($16). The onion rings were perfectly fried, soooooo crispy, perfectly seasoned, and a great way to start the meal. The wings were outstanding and EXACTLY HOW TO GET THEM IN SEOUL: crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a flavorful garlic soy sauce with just the right amount of heat. The spicy pork rice was rich, savory, and packed with umami and the salad which came with it was extremely refreshing. It didn't taste overly spicy while I was eating it, but I noticed the heat afterward, lol. Overall, it was a great and satisfying meal. The service was excellent, and our server was incredibly kind. She patiently offered thoughtful recommendations, gave us plenty of time to decide, and kept the restaurant clean / managed it while we decided the order. If you are craving authentic Korean fried chicken and spicy bold, umami-packed flavors, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

Ordered the signature 10 piece wings - sweet chili & soy garlic. I thought there was a bit too much sweetness and much chili, but overall the crunch was nice and the chicken was super juicy! Got an avocado salad which was said to have arugula but was a basic lettuce tomato onion salad that wasn't too appetizing. Tried the honey mustard but it was too sweet. Got a teobokki to fill my belly. Ordered spice level 2 since the sweet chili was spice level 1 and not much spice noticed, but the spice level 2 was pretty spicy. The rice cakes were soft and chewy - tasty!

Keven greeted me and walked me through their spice levels - so on the side of using good judgement I went for a medium 2 strip dinner. Made fresh to order it took about 8 minutes to get my order but it was a lovely change from the slightly warm chicken generally found at a fast food restaurant. These chicken strips were huge! And they've been crusted with the flavor - not drenched in sauce. The chicken was moist and delicious as were the seasoned fries. This will become a go to spot for chicken - winning out over any of the more well known places for me!

Overall, it gives the restaurant a modern street style feel with the bold colors and graffiti around. We bought 2 - one tender and one slider combos $14 each along with buffalo style Mac and cheese with three small chicken pieces $7 and the final bill including tip was $42. The tenders were packed with flavor - crispy and juicy chicken. It was perfectly fried and had the right amount of medium level spice on it. However the buffalo style Mac and cheese was cold and underwhelming - three pieces of chicken with hardly any actual Mac and cheese and fries - it was not what I expected. I definitely expected more Mac and cheese haha. Another downside for me was the pricing of the combos/food- it was high because if you look at the combo it's just two tenders with some bread and sauce. Portion wise it didn't really match the pricing for more of a fast food restaurant setup. The restaurant was clean otherwise and the service was decent - nothing amazing as such. Overall, good fast food with high pricing for what you get.

We had to wash one down before we could even put her in it. During a rush where table turnover is high, this is totally understandable, but there was one other family in the restaurant and plenty of staff available. I ordered the three piece meal with mashed potatoes and gravy. The potatoes and gravy were both cold and unedible. So why the 4 stars? Because the chicken is SO good. I got it with their ranch and also mango habanero sauce. The mango habanero sauce was a like a spicy sweet and sour, but I really liked it.

I'd been seeing the Nashville Hot Chicken Shack (NHCS) as an option of Door Dash for a few weeks and decided to give it t a try, but rather than order for delivery, I wanted to find out if there was a dine in option. When I searched the address I was directed to Fox & Hound, a pub/grill I'd seen many times. Thinking perhaps they'd had COVID related business issues, I decided to call, but having dialed the number twice, I got recordings that the number was out of order. At this point I was jonesing pretty bad for hot chicken and decided to take the chance and drive a few miles to check it out. I grabbed some buddies from work and took off. On arrival we learned that there is no storefront for The Nashville Hot Chicken Shack, but rather that it was a "Virtual Kitchen" functioning out of Fox & Hound's facility. ("American Grilled Cheese Company" is another VK in the same facility. It was a strategy to increase business and keep the restaurant afloat during the pandemic.) I was disappointed to learn that my friends and I couldn't place an order for the menu items from NHCS. The only menus available were for Fox & Hound. The server was super nice about it, but simply couldn't accommodate our request. That's when I pulled out my phone and placed a pickup order through Door Dash for Hot Chicken and sides, and my friends and I sat in the restaurant, sipped on soft drinks, and waited for our takeout. We got back to the office and unpacked the bag. Our orders were correct and contained everything we expected. The chicken was not sauced as I expected it to be. We all ordered Medium heat... I would have bumped it up to hot if I'd had a point of reference, but it was appropriately spiced for medium. The chicken itself was nothing special. It wasn't bad... it was just "meh." For my two sides I chose mac & cheese and collard greens. The mac was very loose... soupy in fact. I was not a fan. The greens, however were OUTSTANDING. (I say that as a Southerner who loves greens. These were GREAT.) On it's own, the meal would have held its three star rating, but it was the price point that took it down for me. I REALLY wanted this meal to be wonderful, but the simple fact is that it was mediocre at best, and certainly not worth the price. I'd drive up in to the metro for hot chicken at a competitor before I'd order from Nashville Hot Chicken Shack again. I don't like writing negative reviews, and I want to be clear, this rating has NOTHING to do with the service I received. (In fact, I gave the waitress who brought our soft drinks a $10 tip.) I just can't recommend this food at this price point.

I might have been given some significant discounts on food during her employment if you know what I mean?! Since the statute of limitations has expired and said female now lives in Florida, I think it's time to come clean some 45 years later, and yes we are still friends. In fact she was the first person that I sent photos of my weekend meal. I was actually surprised to see that Taco Via still existed and made a dash out to Overland Park on a soggy Sunday to see if the food lived up to what my memories hold. I ordered a Nacho w/ jalapeños, a Sancho, and "The Thing". The Nacho is one of the metro's simple pleasures - a corn tortilla covered in melted cheese with a spiral design of the best taco sauce in America and a splattering of diced jalapeños. Simple and simply irresistible. The Sancho is a messy beast with it's soft flour tortilla packed to the brim with everything that you would find in a burrito - taco meat, lettuce, cheese, tomato, and sauce. "The Thing" is a beautiful thing! It is basically a tostado topped with ground beef, onion sauce and a mountain of melty cheese. All three of these menu items would be 5 stars even if you were forced to eat them with Taco Bell sauce, but Taco Via has their own sauce that you can dispense from a pump at the drink station. I found myself sipping the sauce between bites and realized then that I must buy a container to take home with me. I plan on using liberal amounts of it on a taco salad at home tomorrow evening. I hope you forgive me and especially my female friend that forced those "discounted" tacos and sodas upon me Two Score and Five Years ago. With to-go sauce, meal, tax and tip, I spent $25+, I'm giving a well deserved 5 star review and I promise to come back and spend even more money... I hope this starts the reconciliation process, and the forgiveness of juvenile misdemeanors.
