Hey Zaxby's Management... What is going on over there? Ordering was quick. The staff was friendly. And the food was good. But, the place was not very clean, and nothing was stocked ( I got the last straw). Also, what was the deal with the fries? Is that just poor judgment on the fry person's department, or is this to be a cost-saving measure? Please take a good look at the meal I ordered. Which was to be chicken tossed in sauce, with fries, coleslaw, and toast. This meal cost almost $15. Does that look like it has that kind of value? The little box half full of fries was what came with my girlfriend's chicken sandwich. Again, half full. The food tastes good. And you had an amazing store. You can tell from the comments that something here has just plain slipped. I ask you to fix this as for Fast Food Chicken, Zaxby's is one of the TOP! Ordered for drive through pickup, with 5 cars in front of me it took 30 minutes to get to the speaker. Another 5 minutes waiting to be helped at the speaker. Given that I'd arrived a few minutes before my food was supposed to be ready, I was eventually given a bag of cold food. Added bonus was the screaming toddler in my backseat. First time at this Zaxby's. My youngest wanted the Mr Beast Box meal. The service was very good. The staff is attentive and friendly. Very quick to help. The soda fountain area was a little messy and the tables needed some cleaning. Overall the restaurant was very clean. My meal was very salty though. Didn't really enjoy it. They are really gone down over the years. Their food is great but i doordashed a milkshake and they no longer give straws with milkshakes.

I found this chicken place by accident and decided it was destined to be a lunch stop. I have never heard of Zaxby's before I stumbled into the wrong parking lot. Ordering was pretty difficult since the person behind the counter could not simplify orders from 4 pieces to 2 pieces. I originally asked for the torch chicken sandwich and ended up receiving a 4 piece meal with coleslaw. Instead of arguing and making the server feel awkward, I ended up eating the chicken meal. Actually, it was probably the better choice than the sandwich combination order. Service to the table was quick and the only reason for the 3 stars was due to the inexperienced counter person who could not accurately provide the order. This has to be the twin sister (yet maybe not as popular) of raising canes. The staff was very helpful in helping me decide what to order.. I stuck with a tried and true number 1. This is a hearty meal of three chicken tenders, fries, and Texas toast.. Plenty for one person. The chicken was pretty good and the fries were tasty. I also liked the Zax sauce. I like it better than Cane's for a few reasons (and I really like Cane's) primarly the chicken is a spicier blend. If you go with the Chicken Finger basket its the same frozen crinkle cut fries and Texas toast, but the chicken is different enough to make a big difference to me. Maybe a little on the salty side, but still really good. My wife got a salad with chopped up fried chicken on stop that looked fantastic and a great way to get started on my first heart attack. Luckily there aren't any in the Twin Cities or I'd be in trouble. read more

Had lunch with a friend here for the first time, It was good! I was just expecting a fast food restaurant, but they had a greeter, that was nice. You order and then they bring the food to you. So service was great. I got the wing meal, which had 5 wings and 3 chicken strips and fries. It was pretty good. We ordered at 12:56pm and as I type this it is 1:20pm and we are still waiting Employees (kids) standing around talking while 1 of the 2 registers are open and the line waiting to order gets longer. Greatly appreciated the time he took to do that. Staff was not very friendly. I was helping an elderly couple with the pop machine since it was spraying all over the place (apparently the nozzle wasn't placed in). I went up to the counter and was met with a very irritated employee. She looked up at me and said "WHAT" in a very annoyed tone. As I told her what happened to the pop machine, she continued to do what she was doing behind the counter until other customers tried to tell her that the nozzle was out of the machine. Really disappointed with the food and service. Went through the drive through, the employee taking our order sounded like she hated life. I couldn't make out anything she was saying through the crappy speaker either. This was our first time trying this place and we ordered a sandwich combo and the 5 pc boneless wings. The wings were the most pathetic things I've ever seen. For $6.50 you get 5 wings that maybe equal one total chicken finger, it doesn't come with fries or a drink. It was incredibly disappointing to get home and find that we were totally ripped off. Additionally, they decided that the best place to put the ranch dipping sauce for the wings, was in the container with the baby sized chicken wings so it was absolutely covered in sticky sauce... couldn't just put the sauce in the to go bag itself, that would have made too much sense. I really couldn't believe how sad that meal was. You can get a good full sized chicken sandwich with fries and a drink for the same price that you get a pathetic 5 pc baby wings from this place. Nice combos!! Try that wings and things with either traditional (bone in) or boneless. You get a ranch and Zac sauce with it. It have your wings tossed in a sauce. The nuclear sauce wasn't that extreme and would suggest the combo of nuclear and sweet and spicy! I would say overall the place is legit for quick wings however I was sadly disappointed with the staff integrity. The wait for the food can be a bit - as we sat waiting for our food we witness a staff member drop another customers bread on the floor. The fries where ok, Texas toast was good but the best part was the dipping sauce. Tongue torch sauce is their most popular sauce, and I can see why. The tongue torch sauce is extra peppery with a little tang. Great place for chicken, try it! read more

Asked for 1 unsweetened and 2 sweetened. I reconfirmed at the window. Received my drinks and got 2 unsweetened and baby drink was sweet tea. They had us pull up front to wait. 10 minutes went by and I walked in. All the employees were confused on who was getting drive through orders. Stopped here between soccer games over the weekend and am struggling to find a positive. The staff was not welcoming or even personable. The ice machine in the Coke dispenser was empty, the ice machine next to it had an out of order sign on it. None of the empty tables were cleans, so I found the sanitizer bucket on top of one of the trash bins and clean a table and booth so we had a clean table to eat at. Bathrooms were filthy and the men's room had no paper towels to dry your hands. Chicken fingers were plump, meaty, juicy with the right amount of seasoning. I've become a big fan of their fries. Crinkle cut with a hint of seasoning salt. There was a bit of a wait ordering inside but, my food was very fresh so, no complaints there. My husband and I split a 10 piece strip and side of fries. 2-3 decent servings with a drink for $15. Wish she would have been a little more helpful with provided additional info as she should of known from my questions that I was new to Zaxby's. I ordered the 3 piece combo with crinkle fries & a drink. It came with their Zaxby's sauce. I wasn't impressed with the sauce & would recommended to request one to your liking. The fries needed to be cooked more to be crispier as oppose to mushy. Our food took about 10 min to be brought to our table - seems to be the norm. My strips & fries were very hot. I've only been through the drive-thru here. Food is usually good, although they pack in Styrofoam containers that turn your fries into mush. Every once in awhile I'll have a problem where they leave something off my order or I order two meals and they only ring up one, etc. At times the drive-thru line can be long, but they do a great job of moving it quickly. I have been coming here since this restaurant opened. I have never seen it so dirty from the customer self service area to the bathroom. There are a few people standing around just search the internet or whatever on their phone. Normally when you order to eat here someone brings your meal out to you. Today some guy picked up my food and returned it to the counter. If I hadn't said something they would have given me that food. Today isn't the service I normally receive here. As soon as I pulled up to the drive thru it was obvious that taking out order wasn't friendly. She immediately went to what can i get you in a rude and unwelcoming tone of voice. She had a rude tone of voice and kept interrupting me by saying "anything else". When we got to the window they took my card and didn't say anything.
