Love their Asada street tacos! Flavorful and hardy. They have a salsa bar to top them with more sauces and pickles onions. I've been full and satisfied every time I go there. You order at the counter and they are pretty quick to get it to you. I like to be able to get in and out quickly. The atmosphere is casual but clean and bright. I have already recommended this place to friends and family. Check it out if you're in the area. read more

My wife saw good reviews on this and we wanted to try something new.. ordered 2 combo meals with chips and queso online and went to pick up. They didn't have my cups ready to pick up and I had to ask for them. The topping at the toppings bar did not fit in the containers they had next to them. And when we got home 15 minutes away to eat our food the carne asada tacos my wife got had only meat and tortilla. I called them to ask for a refund and they answered but I could not hear the person on the phone it sounded like she was covering the microphone the whole time. When I asked for a refund for the tacos she became very short with me and said her manager might be calling me or just send me a refund.. which has not happened. Will not be going back here and do not recommend as you might still have to take a trip to the grocery store and finish their job for them. Plus the philly tacos were just sausage and a couple soggy peppers mixed in (not very good ) read more

My soft opening dine-in lunch experience was very good, with tasty tacos, reasonable prices, a nice dining area and first-rate service. My two tacos with a side of beans (total $11.00) were made to order with fresh, made-in-house 5" tortillas and served 15 minutes after I ordered at the counter, where the service from the owner was helpful and friendly. The grilled chicken and grilled steak tacos had good amounts of tasty, moist, diced meat and a guacamole topping. I also made a visit to the toppings bar, which included three salsas (hot dark red, medium yellow and mild red), diced onions, limes, pico de gallo and more. Labels would have been helpful. The dining area was clean and new with three nice murals and two large TVs tuned to sports channels. Background music is coming soon. They currently offer bottled beer and margaritas are coming soon. Overall, very nice. read more

This is a new taco joint that just recently opened up. We had a chance to try it and we were blown away from the cute & spacious venue, friendly staff and tasty meals. You can tell that everything's made in-house with the freshest ingredients. They offer a variety on their menu from burritos, tacos, quesabirras, fiesta bowls & snacks. Plus, they handcraft their own tortillas. Even Horchata is made in house too! What we order: Al Pastor Tacos (so tender and juicy) Carne Asada Tacos (packed with flavors) Birria Tacos (consomé chef's kiss) Chicken Quesadilla (plenty to share) Mushroom Tacos (smoked Portobello) Elotes (soooo good and fresh, they grilled it) Horchata (smooth and creamy, perfect with ice) Paleta from Frutopia (a nice sweet dessert to end our meal) Don't forget their Taco Tuesday deal too. We can't wait to go back and tried their burritos and their fish tacos next time. read more

Service, food and atmosphere 5/5. We ordered 4 carne asada with gauc, 4 pastor, the birria tacos (it comes as a 4 pack), chips, queso and guac on the side. They were all delicious. All the tacos come with onion and cilantro on it. If you don't like it, make sure to say something. Birria tacos were crispy and flavorful. The asada tacos were perfect. The pastor tacos were a bit salty. The bar has pickled onions, jalapeños, pico, limes and a bunch of different salsas. The service was quick. We sat to eat and were out within 35 minutes. We will be back! read more

It may be "unassuming" on the outside but I've yet to have a bad bite of food here on 2 occasions. I don't normally order chicken at these type of places but their Pollo Asado is amazing, one of the best chicken taco, nacho, burrito (whatever format you choose) I've had. The Al Pastor is also great, with so much flavor. Add in the salsa bar with and this is a hidden gem of "authentic Mexican food." You won't be disappointed (unless all you like is Tex-mex, then steer clear). read more

AMAZING!!! Came for lunch on a Tuesday and the special was 3 tacos and a soda for $10. I got the fried fish, grilled shrimp and carne asada and my daughter got the fried fish, carne asada and al pastor. We also got chips and guac which is a good deal for $6 because it is a big, delicious bowl of guac. My favorite taco was probably the carne asada but the shrimp was great too. The fried fish would be amazing if it had a chipotle mayo or some sort of creamy sauce on it. My daughter's favorite was the al pastor. This is a taco shop so it isn't fancy but the food it great and they are literally making the tortillas right as they fill them. read more

Service was fast and restaurant was clean. The person who took our order also checked on us and you could tell he really care about our experience. The bar with taco toppings had everything you need including a delicious smoky, mildly spicy crema sauce. We didn't indulge but they had a nice selection of Mexican popsicles. My only complaint is the mexican sodas...keep them at 4.00 if you must to stay in business but 2.75-3.00 would keep me buying them. We will definitely be back! read more

I stopped by for lunch at Tacos Borrachos and enjoyed my food. It did get very busy at lunch and it was hard to find seating. I had the carne asada quesadilla. This was very filling and tasted really good. They included plenty of meat and cheese in the quesadilla. I would order this again. The chips and guacamole were also good. The art of the walls are fun and I liked the space. I plan on returning for lunch again to try something different. read more

This place just recently opened up and so glad we had a chance to try it. We tried several different tacos including Al pastor, carne asada, mushroom tacos, and birria! The Birria tacos were easily one of my favorites but they were all so delicious! We also had a chicken quesadilla which was also very flavorful. Super fresh ingredients as well! They also have a sauce station with several different sauces and heat levels so you can spice up your taco any way you like. Their elote is also fantastic! Great flavor with the tajin and cojita cheese! It was a good way to end our meal. Check this place out if you're in the area. It's worth it! Not to mention the staff are all super friendly and I love the unique Kansas City artwork on the inside and out! read more

Really loved the grilled fish tacos, they are open a little later than most, can't wait to try other delectables on the menu

"Taco Nirvana: Where Salsa Meets Seoul" If you think you know tacos, think again -- because this little spot just flipped the whole game on its tortilla. This isn't your average carne-asada-and-a-squeeze-of-lime joint. No, this place is where Mexican street food takes a wild, delicious detour through Asia -- and the results are nothing short of mind-blowing. First off, the salsa bar? Absolute gold. Fresh, vibrant, and stacked with options that'll have you questioning why you ever accepted those sad, pre-packaged salsas anywhere else. Mango habanero? Roasted tomatillo? Kimchi pico de gallo? Yes, yes, and absolutely yes. But the real magic happens in the tacos. Imagine perfectly grilled bulgogi beef tucked into a warm tortilla, drizzled with gochujang aioli and topped with crunchy slaw. Or crispy tempura shrimp with a spicy-sweet Thai chili glaze. Every bite feels like a culture clash in your mouth -- and somehow, it all works perfectly. The vibe here is casual, like your cool friend's backyard cookout -- but with way better food. The staff? Laid-back but sharp, happy to guide you toward the taco combo you didn't know you needed in your life. If you leave without trying at least three different tacos and making a complete mess of your hands at the salsa bar, you did it wrong. This place doesn't just serve tacos -- it delivers full-on flavor bombs disguised as handheld snacks. Pro tip: Come hungry, stay messy, and don't sleep on the salsa bar. You'll be dreaming about these tacos for days. read more

Great first visit! I was a little skeptical in a town with so many Mexican restaurants owned by native Mexicans, what could the ABC Cafe team bring to that niche? Quite a lot, actually! I went there tonight with my boyfriend. First impression was the space was very clean and attractively decorated. A young woman greeted us from the order counter as we walked in. We asked for her recommendations. I ended up getting the al pastor (which you can see cooking on a spit) and the fried shrimp tacos. My boyfriend also got the al pastor, chicken tinga, and fish tacos. I also ordered guacamole for us to share. They make their tortillas in house and they were delicious! I was blown away. Everything was extremely well-seasoned, we got all the sauces from the salsa bar. Both the tacos I had were SO good. I would order either of them again, but I was wishing I'd had 2 al pastor tacos, if that means anything. Guacamole was really tasty though I wish the chips had been warm - that was my only real complaint but easily remedied and didn't affect my dining experience, inasmuch as everything else was amazing and the chips were solidly good, because they weren't warm. Also didn't love the tiny water cups. I get water is free and they may not want to spend extra me for the cups, but an 8 oz cup is a little small. But truly my only criticism but in no way would they keep me from going again. I look forward to trying burritos next time! read more

Five of us stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for the first time. Surprised by how spacious it is inside. Plenty of tables and was very clean. We ordered a bowl, two burritos, street tacos, cheese quesadilla, chips, queso and guacamole. Oh and French fries, everything was delicious, they have a nice salsa bar available, all were tasty. Prices are reasonable, for the quality and amount of food we got. Give this place a try. read more

The rating is mostly about the food. Went for lunch. Order @ he counter, carne asada & pollo asado tacos & charro beans. Salsa bar is nice. The place is well appointed & clean. The staff was great. The taco meat was very dry & flavorless. They were plenty loaded but no flavor. Beans were the same. After adding copious amounts of salsa still nothing. When you charge $4 for a taco it should be good. This was not. read more

We had high hopes for this place since it's pretty close to our house. We were disappointed. We ordered to go and nothing caught our attention. It also took a while to get our food. Every item lacked seasoning. The carne asada specifically was lifeless. The rice was as bland as it gets. The guac was way too limey. The pastor tasted nice but had no seasoning. These tacos are also small and expensive for how much you get. I probably wont be back. Which is disappointing because I had high hopes for this place. read more

Not good. Meat is cooked and then reheated on flattop making it dry and stringy. Pico on the salsa bar tasted like it was frozen previously, plus it was 60% jalapeños. Service was good though read more

They clearly don't want to stay open for very long. I was excited to try this place after reading the reviews. I tried to call ahead for a to go order and no one responded. So then I went there and saw two workers sitting on their phone not even looking up for mins. I finally made a noise and then they saw me and got up but continued to not say anything and say on their phones. I then just walked out and left. I can't speak to the food since I wasn't given the opportunity to try it due to their terrible service. If you want to make it, please don't treat customers like this or get workers who have basic people skills. read more

10/10 recommend, great service, super clean and the food was great! Did not take long to receive our food either.

No lo recomiendo. read more
