An hour after I placed my order my driver called to say he's been waiting 20 minutes because the staff insisted they didn't receive my order even though he was showing him his Grubhub request. My main purpose for writing this review at the moment is mainly because I am perfectly appalled by the reviews posted prior, which do not paint a picture of the local Taco Bell I've come to know and love as MY Taco Bell. Every time I come here, I am greeted by courteous, professional staff that remember me and what I like to order. They genuinely care about what they're doing, even if this is a minimum wage job. Taco Bell in Seaford is in a completely new building. My breakfast visit found these positives: Clean dining room, clean kitchen as far as I could see. A good selection of breakfast items, including $1 specials. My waffle taco sausage was tasty, with good eggs. The previous building did not serve breakfast and did not offer hot beverages. Now, coffee is available (small at $1.49, minus 74 cent senior discount), but no decaf. The coffee was lukewarm. --- No other patron stopped in while I was there. I have no clue what's going on at this location! It is so bad, employees that do show up are rude, always run out of food and beverages. Not once, not twice, not even three times at least 10 times for me anyway. The food I got tonight Saturday 5/28 at 11:30pm was just thrown in the bag, had to return 3 times at the window, worker was legit fighting with customers in the store! Wow what a nightmare, they should just close this location until they get there act together. COVID isn't an excuse anymore either. My family has been doing Taco Bell for years now on Saturday nights, it was a tradition, but now I will choose another fast food restaurant that knows how to staff and run a business, shame on you corporate for letting this happen and not doing anything about it! Let's all be real, anyone who goes to Taco Bell loves Taco Bell. So why is this a 1 star? because the staff is garbage. I went here today, ordered a quesadilla (number 7). There are two questions you need to ask when someone orders this meal, the first is whether you would like steak or chicken in your quesadilla, and the second is whether you would like your side taco soft or hard shelled. How flipping hard is this? Apparently pretty difficult for the Taco Bell in Seaford NY. I was greeted by a worker with an enormous attitude, who made it clear she wanted nothing to do with speaking to you, or taking your order. Interestingly enough, after I had gotten my order, another customer had made a complaint to her that the seats were covered in taco sauce, and he did not want to sit on that. The worker took a wet rag, slopped it all over the seat, and said, "you'll have to wait until they are dry" and walked away. This customer then spoke to the manager and was very upset with how he was being treated. He had asked for the corporate information, and had explained his experience with the employee to the manager. Not to mention, the food took a relatively long time to get, and there wasn't that much of a line. The manager didn't really seem to internalize the issues that the customers were upset about, more of an "in one ear out the other" kind of look. I have to say... the only time I see this place extremely busy is 12pm till closing. AKA when all the drunk party-goers are coming home from a big night out and have the munchies. I LOVE Taco Bell! It's my go-to fast food place. Just not the one on Sunrise Highway in Seaford. This is the slowest moving drive-thru, kitchen ever. If you're bored and want to sit on. 20-30 minute drive thru line to get your order, then come to this one! I don't know what it is, if they're understaffed, the kitchen is too slow, or their kitchen staff is incompetent, but if I have to wait another 5 minutes AT THE WINDOW for a small order (chalupa, crunch wrap supreme, cheesy gordita crunch) after already waiting 15 minutes AFTER I place the order, that's a problem. The weird part is the food is already cold when I get it. The only thing this place has going for them is location.
