It took everything I had not to say something right then. People with Down syndrome deserve the same dignity, respect, and kindness as everyone else. There is no excuse for humiliating or making fun of someone because of a disability--especially while you're at work representing a business. Again, Kaydee was wonderful, but the bartender's behavior left such a bad impression that it overshadowed what otherwise could have been a great experience.
