This was the best Taco Bell experience I've ever had!! After moving to Pittsburgh, I often find the fast food workers are definitely engaging in "minimum wage minimum effort" which frankly, I understand and support but it's gone a little into the the "my food is stale and also my order is wrong" so getting my Taco Bell fix has been a journey. At this location however, I've never had a bad experience! The workers are always so nice and polite, and always willing to have a conversation :) One time I went, I told them how much I love the diablo sauce and asked if I could get a heaping handful and the workers handed me a bag totally filled with diablo!! It was the best day of my life. I put it on everything and the bottles in stores just aren't the same. They were so fun and sweet and it truly made my day. I needed a quick lunch while holiday shopping. Hadn't planned on eating out and ended up at Taco Bell. I can't remember the last time I had Taco Bell, let alone ate in one of their locations. I am truly impressed by their dining room. Modern, clean, comfortable and stylish. A much needed upgrade from the days I used to eat here when I was in college. You know what hasn't changed... their tacos. The soft potato taco is exactly what I remember; fried potato nuggets, spicy sauce and fresh lettuce, tomato and cheese. And under 200 calories. This Taco Bell is normally pretty good food wise. However, the people working in this franchise need to learn how to communicate with people respectfully. I came into this restaurant 30 minutes later than what my mobile order time said my food was supposed to be ready by. Safe to say, my order was still not ready. Young staff were dropping F bombs with kids inside the lobby. Someone even said something about this and the staff memeber replied back "I don't care." Employees were screaming at each other. Not one person was greeted who walked in. I understand working in fast food is frustrating, but we all been there. Not once have I talked to someone in this way. YOU pick your job. Nobody else. I had to complain to even be recognized by someone to receive my order that was almost an hour late. This is fast food. If I wanted to wait 45 minutes for food I would have went inside Texas Roadhouse and gotten a nice steak dinner. Do better. As someone who worked in fast food, this is TOTALLY unacceptable read more

Every time I come to this Taco Bell at night, it's the same frustrating experience -- they are severely understaffed. Even when I've called in my order ahead of time, I end up waiting 45 minutes or longer just to get my food. This is completely unacceptable for fast food. The management really needs to stop being so cheap and hire enough employees to handle the evening rush. Customers shouldn't have to waste nearly an hour for something that should take only a few minutes. read more

Decided to try Taco Bell again since it's been over a year, and now remember why it had been that long. Tacos aren't bad, but don't get anything else unless you're in for a gut buster. Took my daughter and grandson for lunch. Disgusting. my grandson went to the bathroom and Said he was traumitized, Hes ten years old. I asked what was up and he took me in a stall that had an enormous turd in it. we tried to flush but no way. Went out and sat down to eat but garbage all over and a roach on the wall kinda lookin at our food turned us off. left our food on the table and got out of there. never going back. hell I was traumitized. Passing by, I noticed this new kid on the corner. Literally. On the corner. It's at the intersection of Costco and Southerland Drives and Park Manor Boulevard (across from Aldi, diagonally across from Azteca). I'm not wild about fast food chains, especially in a busy location on a Sunday afternoon. However, this is a brand new location, and they had this really nice sunny room overlooking the ever so lovely, busy intersection. So, in I went. I have the app on my phone, because Daughter is in love with Taco Bell. The app offers 2 deals: one for 15% off any order and the other for a free drink with any purchase. I went for the free drink with any purchase. However, I was told by the manager I would have to order off the app in order to use that offer. Okay no problem. Yep. There was a problem. Apparently, since they just opened & weren't on the app map, I couldn't order off the app. Okay, still no problem; it's just a drink. I ordered the shredded chicken burrito and an apple empanada. The burrito came with shredded chicken, lettuce, cheese, and avocado. The Empanada was golden brown, was brimming with warm apple filling. I'm not a fan of fried food, especially deep fried food, but this wasn't greasy at all. I would order both again. This is a huge restaurant. Nice and bright and airy inside. Spacious too. It's not like Nicky's downtown, where your elbow is touching your neighbor's elbow. And they're sitting at another table! Of course, their food is nowhere near Nicky's caliber. Still, it's standard Taco Bell fair, served by friendly, smiling employees. My food was hot and served in record time, considering they were really busy. My only beef here is there was only one cashier and they were really busy. They have a drive thru, and possibly outdoor seating in warm weather. They're in a good location; close to both Robinson Mall and Robinson Towne Center. The corner is very busy. There's only one entrance / exit; you have to wait your turn while people stream into/out of Aldi and Costco. So plan to trot out your very best patience. Still, this is a very nice restaurant, with nice employees. And I'm optimistic that this will last. read more

Literally watched the guy on his phone refuse to respond or answer. It's the only thing open at this time. Pretty upsetting. The restaurant should advertise that they close earlier if their staff closes an hour early and doesn't work. I'd totally understand 10-15 minutes. It's an hour though. There is a hotel nearby. They paved paradise (Chick-fil-A) and put up a parking lot (this Taco Hell). Too cheap to remodel properly, but what did you expect from a place that makes you intestines quiver for only 99 cents. I was wondering who was going to be brave enough to follow Chick-fil-A in this location. Chick-fil-A was super duper busy when they were down here at this location. When I saw that they were moving I was curious what would come of this location. It's kind of hard to get into and out of. The traffic at the red light on Costco Drive is intense. But anyways we're not talking about Chick-fil-A or the traffic light. We're talking about Taco Bell! I personally think of all the Taco Bells in the area that I have been to that this is the nicest one. Friendly staff, quick service at the drive-thru the food wasn't half bad. I have been to this location twice since they have opened. But I have not gone inside. I do know that the playground that once existed there is no longer there. If they did offer the playground I might visit this location where often. read more

Took over 5 mins to be greeted. The "lead" was nasty and unwilling to accommodate. Wanted nachos (to go) but no drinks. She got so nasty towards me (you know, the one giving money to keep the business going to get her pay) absolutely INSISTING they cannot do anything & had to order the combo. Then got an attitude because i didn't want to give my name (was so mad at that point i was shaking). Then when my order came up suspiciously fast- she slid 2 boxes at me and was like see ya. No bag, said the boxes can't be stacked. No napkins no sauces no nothing. I demanded a bag. BY THE MIRACLE BLESSED BY GOD HIMSELF, not only did the boxes not "crush" there wasn't even a tiny dent. But that sweet child the owners made a "lead" did a FANTASTIC job of making our nachos. She made sure she used the crushed pieces from the bottom of the bin to make them. No wonder why there's never more than 2 cars in the drive thru and 3 tables inside. read more

I am writing this review because I had the worst service ever from this Taco Bell on Costco Drive. Please don't order from this place. I ordered a beef burrito supreme, a Mountain Dew drink, and two orders of cinnamon twists. This is what I received from these dumbells. A burrito with nothing but beef and nothing else. The Mountain Dew came as pure soda water and i was shorted on one cinnamon twist. I called the store and complained about the order. I got someone who seemed to be disinterested in my dilemma and kept telling me to take my problem to Grub Hub. I have been out dollars because the order was inedible. Don't order from this location. I have always loved and defended Taco Bell when people trashed it. Well I am done. I got a bean burrito and a Mexican pizza today at the drive thru. Omg it was the most rancid horrible Mexican pizza (my go to) I ever had. The burrito tasted like the smell from the steamer. Weird taste and not good. The pizza, however was so awful. I kept eating it since I was starving. I'm so sorry I did. I feel so sick now. I read about the tostados going bad. I never had this. Maybe drive thru is where they dump the old stuff. Awful!!!! This location is not very good. Have been their a few times and service has progressively gotten worse. Waited over a half hour today to get a $5 box consisting of 3 tacos. The self service kiosks aren't user friendly and never seem to get the orders right. Ask for chicken and get beef and don't even try to change anything on the order cause it either isn't reported to the people making the order or they just don't care to follow instructions. Can't say I'd recommend going there if your in a rush or have any desire to eat what you order. read more
