My favorite is the veggie quesadilla, it is very different than the average quesadilla that is served at other Mexican restaurants. I always order the platter that comes with rice and beans, because both are excellent. The red sauce has heat but is very flavorful. I always order extra red sauce to take home. If you don't care for hot sauces but enjoy flavor you can mix a little sour cream into the red sauce to make it milder. Service is always friendly and helpful. Tortas Johann is the best reason to visit Kokomo!

I originally was going to get the taco combo plate, which comes with three tacos, Mexican rice, and beans, but the meat choices were chicken or beef, so instead I did three a la carte tacos with chicken, carnitas, and steak. The steak one was my favorite of the three. They were topped with raw onions and cilantro, and served with some grilled onions that were on the side. The tortillas themselves were traditional corn tortillas. My boyfriend got a burrito with steak and chicken, which was topped with shrimp and served with queso, and he said it was very good too. We also all split a pitcher of frozen margaritas which were good, and you can choose flavors too although we just did traditional lime. We did have to ask for glasses of water a few times, which is not a big deal. Overall the food and drinks here were tasty, though.
