I lived in LA for 20 years and this place is in the front runner for the best Mexican food I have ever had.

    Quesa Barria

The food is amazing!! Indescribably good. I have never eaten Mexican food that was anything close to as good as this.

    Seafood Soup

The Seafood Soup is life changing. When looking at the menu, don't skip over the soups.

I grew up in the L.A. area so I know good food and I know "hole in the wall" gems. We moved to this area about a month ago and we could not find a good Mexican restaurant until now. As you walk in, the smell gave off that L.A. Olvera Street vibe. their tamales are really good, they could use more filing but you won't be disappointed by the flavoring. I had their pastor and carnitas gordItas and it was really good. It also has a small market inside where you can pick up those hard to find Mexican items you won't find at Kroger or Meijer. The food is flavorful and the plating isn't fancy but who cares. I've had fancy plates but the food was terrible. The only thing I wish they had was homemade tortilla chips because that always takes salsa and chips up a notch for sure. But it's not a deal breaker for me. We will for sure be returning here.

The tacos are very good! We tried the Cabeza and the Baracoa tacos and they were so delicious!

True authentic Mexican food. You can go ahead and skip the American style Mexican food. Your palate will thank you.

Service was horrible, the waitress was dragging her feet, the food was even worse, it was so disgusting that I couldn't even finish it.

No need to try any other Mexican joint in town. Hands down best tacos in Kokomo! Staff are super nice and attentive!

Food is excellent - but really expensive for a Mexican restaurant in a grocery. 3 tamales and a beer $13.00!

Everything we have ordered has been top notch. We got hooked on the creme Brulé a couple of years ago and now it is a must do every time we go there. It's located in the old, refurbished RR depot and has that quaint atmosphere and ambiance we really enjoy. That time is almost here again and am trying to get reservations, which BTW, has to be done by phone even though they have been promising online reservations "coming soon" almost from day one in 2017. Get with it Marble! This is annoying.

The asparagus was too chunky and woody... it tasted like it was old. The crab (steak Oscar) was canned, but it was remarkably high quality for canned crab, and didn't detract from the dish. My girlfriend enjoyed her meal as well. We also ordered the "chocolate tower" which turned out to be an extremely large slice of chocolate cake. It didn't "tower" but rather was lying on the plate as one regularly would serve cake, so the name was confusing. The cake was okay, though tasted a little dry, like it had been hanging around in the fridge for too long. It was an overall good dining experience and we'll try it again sometime, but probably trying a different dessert.
