Absolutely the best taco's around!!! If you've never been to el taco express you're definitely missing out!

Very cold service. Not even a hello, welcome, be with you in a minute. Dat down at a table and two walk outs were helped before he took my order. Ordered four different tacos (asada, Barbacoa, al pastor and asada con chorizo). Three tacos looks exactly the same, all four dry, and pastor didn't even come with pineapple as advertised on menu. Salsa does indeed come in bottles which is advantageous for pouring on tacos but disadvantage for chips....as you can't really dip the chip but able to put a limited amount. I would recommend La Charreada right next door. Better chips/salsa, service and food.

This was a super small place that Emily decided to take me because it is her favorite place in Marion. It did not disappoint. I was really hungry from a hard run earlier, and I definitely got my money's worth at El Taco Express! I ordered the chicken and bean burrito with Spanish rice, and it was all very tasty. One interesting thing about this restaurant is that they don't bring a bowl for your salsa. You actually squeeze the salsa from a bottle onto the chips. Very unique. I would definitely recommend this place if you are, for some reason, in Marion.

This is AUTHENTIC Mexican food. Be prepared for that before you go because if you are looking for the typical Mexican food establishments serve, you will be sorely disaapointed. NOW, if you are looking for authentic Mexican food...mostly tacos and such, this is your place in Marion! I had three tacos: chicken, shredded beef and fish. They come with just the meat and a dressing. If you want anything other than that, you need to order it, especially cheese. All three were very good. The tortillas are homemade and either corn or flour. I would definitely return for a 2nd visit.

El Taco Express is a hidden gem in Marion! Kind of a hole-in-the-wall location, but great service, very affordable, and delicious food.

As fearful as I was about getting Mexican food in Indiana, Casa Brava's pics, menu, and beer list pulled me in. "But it's in a Starbucks parking lot," said my sister. I peeked in, said "doce" in Spanish to the host, and two lovely ladies got busy putting tables together and quickly equipping them with warm chips and fresh salsa. Being Indiana, I still played it safe and went with asada tacos, complete with thinly-shaved onion, cilantro, and juicy limes just like back home. The meat was fully marinated and dripping with flavor. My side of frijoles, just like they are at every Sonora spot in my neighborhood. The 24-oz Modelo was fresh and went down way too easy. They were even nice enough to snap some group photos. If you want a little taste of Mexico while in Marion, Indiana, Casa Brava is your spot.

The restaurant was a lot more kitschy than I was expecting, which I loved. Our waitress had a wonderful energy. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. The menu had several unique items. I ordered a Scottish soda called IRN BRU. I love trying food and drinks from around the world. It tasted like an Orange Crush soda. Our waitress said they were known for their Cauliflower soup. It was cold outside so soup sounded perfect. I also got a pepper jack grilled cheese. The soup came in a huge bowl. The combo of the soup and grilled cheese was very filling. My friends ordered the sticky pudding. I had a bite and it was delicious. I cant believe it's taken me so long to eat here. I throughly enjoyed it and cant wait for my next road trip.

It's a few minutes off the highway, but certainly doesn't feel like you're in Gas City, IN. It looks like they added on an outdoor space recently. Nothing too extravagant, but nice enough for lunch. A nice younger man took care of us on the patio. The menu was quite eclectic and unique. The tortilla chips and cold bean dip was a great way to start. Both our soups were fantastic....cheddar cheese for one and leek soup the other. Fish and chips hit the spot and apparently a fan favorite. My wife had the club sandwich of GF bread. Great little local spot if you're ever in the area.
