It's an open area on the lower level of what used to be a mini-mall. There are offices and shops on the main floor and Los Amores is downstairs. If you have trouble with stairs, there is an elevator but you have to search for it. It's not immediately noticeable from the street level. This seems to be a family-run restaurant. Since it was so late for lunch there weren't many people there, but I heard one woman say she comes there every day for lunch. I got the shrimp tacos and added avocado slices. The tacos were very good! We also got fried ice cream and THAT was terrific. I would definitely come back. I didn't care for the complimentary chips and salsa. Don't know why, but that's just what I thought at the time. There was a sign saying they have Trivia Night and other events throughout the week.

Tucked away in a strip mall building, and at the back of a Mexican grocery lies the most authentic Mexican in Grant County. Not only is it a great lunch spot, but the grocery offers very unique treats and drinks for ppl like me who get tired of the having the same food all the time. Now the food is simple in presentation and variety, as Mexican food should be. No fiestaware or hand-painted tile floors--it doesn't need that. Can't go wrong with almost any of the tacos or burritos. On the other hand, pass on the battered chicken torta. Nothing special. The Horchata is TO DIE FOR. My roommate had it for the first time and said, "Where has this been my whole life?!?" Also, I never have boasted about anyone's complimentary chips and salsa, but jeez! Their corn chips are perfectly sweet and crunchy and their salsa verde is the such a great balance of spicy and flavorful. Bring a friend, or come alone. Either way, you'll be treated with respect and get to see a side of Marion worth knowing about.

My wife had the pork chop which comes with these amazing mashed potatoes with mustard seasoning that will blow your mind. She can never finish because it's so much food, which is OK with me because I help her out some. My favorite way to eat this is to mix a little mashed potato, mustard and pork chop together into one delicious bite.
