Dinner Steak Fajita, Chips & Salsa.

Coworkers and I were in the area for business...we went to this restaurant several times in the same week. The staff was friendly and the food was AMAZING every time! We always had leftovers. If you like hot, fresh food with flavor...you will not be disappointed!

I was planning to travel to the area and came upon this place after some research. Unfortunately we arrived near closing, but they were still extremely friendly and served us amazing food. I'm talking some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long time and I've have a lifetime of it. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area or even if you are not, but want good food and better service then most

As fearful as I was about getting Mexican food in Indiana, Casa Brava's pics, menu, and beer list pulled me in. "But it's in a Starbucks parking lot," said my sister. I peeked in, said "doce" in Spanish to the host, and two lovely ladies got busy putting tables together and quickly equipping them with warm chips and fresh salsa. Being Indiana, I still played it safe and went with asada tacos, complete with thinly-shaved onion, cilantro, and juicy limes just like back home. The meat was fully marinated and dripping with flavor. My side of frijoles, just like they are at every Sonora spot in my neighborhood. The 24-oz Modelo was fresh and went down way too easy. They were even nice enough to snap some group photos. If you want a little taste of Mexico while in Marion, Indiana, Casa Brava is your spot.

I'm sitting here writing the review, listening to yelling louder than anything I've heard in any restaurant before. VERY large chunks of bell pepper and onion in my burrito. Not fun to eat around.

The restaurant was a lot more kitschy than I was expecting, which I loved. Our waitress had a wonderful energy. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. The menu had several unique items. I ordered a Scottish soda called IRN BRU. I love trying food and drinks from around the world. It tasted like an Orange Crush soda. Our waitress said they were known for their Cauliflower soup. It was cold outside so soup sounded perfect. I also got a pepper jack grilled cheese. The soup came in a huge bowl. The combo of the soup and grilled cheese was very filling. My friends ordered the sticky pudding. I had a bite and it was delicious. I cant believe it's taken me so long to eat here. I throughly enjoyed it and cant wait for my next road trip.

It's a few minutes off the highway, but certainly doesn't feel like you're in Gas City, IN. It looks like they added on an outdoor space recently. Nothing too extravagant, but nice enough for lunch. A nice younger man took care of us on the patio. The menu was quite eclectic and unique. The tortilla chips and cold bean dip was a great way to start. Both our soups were fantastic....cheddar cheese for one and leek soup the other. Fish and chips hit the spot and apparently a fan favorite. My wife had the club sandwich of GF bread. Great little local spot if you're ever in the area.
