Went through the drive thru, ordered over $70 worth of food. All the food (15 items) came smashed in one bag, including 2 Mexican pizzas. No hot sauce, no sauce for the chicken nuggets, lemonade was mostly water, food was cold by the time we got home (12 minute drive... ) The cherry on top was the 2 taco supremes that were missing from our order, someone wont be getting dinner tonight :( Yet another reminder that fast food is no longer worth the price. If I could give this place a 0 Star I would. As a worker in the restaurant industry myself when it comes to my food being wrong and it not being fast I don't have a huge problem with it, but this time I decided to say something. For the past 3 times prior to this experience I've used the mobile app to place my order. I go up to the window I say my name and pull around. Wait a couple of minutes the woman hands me my food and I put it in my passenger seat and I drive away. A minute or two later I go to check the bag and there was a taco. Now I didn't order any tacos, I ordered a fry bowl and a 2 piece Cinnabon delight with a Baja blast. At this point I'm just frustrated. I have an hour drive to work and I cannot just stop and go back to replace the order or anything so I call. So I call the store ask to speak to the on duty manager and she had said it was she, so therefore I had said " Hi so I just ordered through the mobile app and went through the drive thru and completely did not get my order." She said " yeah because you said your name was Riley". Mind you how in world would I know the name of more online orders that had been placed. So I said " No ma'am I said my name then was told to pull around, was handed my food and was told to have a nice day." Of course I let her know I was disappointed that I didn't get my food but I also didn't want a refund or was looking for free food in any way just because I know how things can be in a restaurant where mistakes just happen. So with that being said she said " Okay well I was upset remaking all of those tacos that you took". LIKE WHAT HOW WOULD THAT BE MY FAULT!!! I understand in some aspects that I should have verified my food, but in the same breath how am I supposed to be yelled at for grabbing a bag that was handed to me??? Even if I had realized when I grabbed the bag that it wasn't my food it's not like they can take the bag back and give it to the person that it was supposed to go to because it had already touched my hands. She then explained that the whole situation was my fault and that I didn't communicate correctly. Again I don't understand why because I said my name in the speaker to begin with. I am still extremely upset over the way I was talked to by the MANAGER at this location because being a MANAGER myself I would never talk to my guests the way that this woman spoke to me. Needless to say I really hope they get their staff and managers under control because otherwise this place will be nothing but a building if it keeps going in the direction that it is seeming to go to. Just wanted to stop in and grab a quick snack as opposed to a lunch to hold us over till dinner. For being in Tennessee this staff was the rudest people I think we met in all our trips. I was standing in line observing the restaurant and the kitchen was filthy, dining room filthy and staff just hanging around. I actually feel bad for whoever owns this franchise. Taco Bell used to be good, but everything comes out of a bag now. Hardly anything is really fresh or made in the store. My daughters like TB, but to me it's highly uninteresting. I don't want to be a complainer, I try to find something positive about everyplace. The bottled water was cold. That is good. But the guacamole sauce tasted like freshly mowed grass. The sauce packets are good, my youngest likes to drink the mild sauce (gross). My suggestion is eat here if you have to, this particular TB is on fast food row right behind the Tesla charging stations across from the Walmart. This Taco Bell is awful!!! We stopped here at 6:30 PM after driving 9 hrs with 2 to go. The two manager asked if we had been helped. We said "No" and they proceeded to walk outside together to leave a few high school kids to make all the food, while several customers entered the building. The food took 20 mins to make and several people got their order before me. I ran out because we were in a hurry and realized that they forgot an item. Night shift is TERRIBLE! There is a girl working there who ALWAYS sounds flirty with the customers, my boyfriend went thru drive through tonight to get food, all was well till she asked how he was, to which he simply replied with, "I have an order." only because he has a daughter to get home to. She replied in a completely different tone meaning stone cold. When he got his food, he pulled up to the plaza and opened the bag, EVERYTHING had been tossed in, resulting in things spilling. The inside is great during the day, but at night? No. I give it a 1 star for this as customers shouldn't be treated differently because YOU want to flirt with every man. Had placed an online order get to the store 15 minutes later and they told me they didn't have the order I asked for a refund and they told me I would have to do it on the app which you can't do so I asked for their regional managers number and they told me they didn't have one at the moment so I asked for any management above store level and they said they didn't have any because it was a franchise imo they gave my food to family or friends so that they could have free food I would recommend driving an extra half hour to a taco bell that has honest employees read more

This is the 2nd time I've been here lately and it has been okay at best. The first of those times the lady at the drive through gave me a list of items they were out of before I could even order, including burritos and quesadillas. Today, the staff acted as if it was an inconvenience to take my order. The restaurant is messy and looks like it most likely wasnt cleaned up before closing last night, the trash cans are full and there is food all over the floor (as I am writing this at 9:21 am). You know I didn't think it was possible to have a moist crunchy taco that was chewer than a well done steak till I ate here. Not only that but it was obvious they were short staff so like I'm sure cutting corners is normal sense they can't afford to take any extra time. This was so bad. We went in because we are traveling and wanted food so we ordered our regular food. One of the things we got was a chicken quesadilla which we paid for sour cream and to take off hot sauce. They didn't do that but still charged us. Another meal was a combo wasn't even all of it. Normally I don't eat fast food but I've been working outside and was starving. I ordered a spicy tostado and cheesy gordita crunch. I took it home to eat which is only 4 miles from my house. He also asked how he could specialize our food when we ordered and he was very courteous in introducing himself to us. He deserves recognition but definitely deserves a raise as well. Pass this location by and wait until you get to the next Taco Bell. This Taco Bell used to be the best restaurant in Kimball. People often commented on how it was one of only a couple of chains to move into the area that hadn't turned into a disappointment. Then it changed hands (or at least that is the rumor). Now, it is one of the biggest rip offs in the County. THE GOOD: The employees are friendly enough but when dealing with an issue, you can tell most of them have the old "thousand yard stare" going on. Still, for the most part, the workers are friendly. It is a decently clean restaurant. I am not sure what its health scores are but I have never been exposed to any unspeakable nastiness. THE BAD: If you are dining in, your order will usually be correct. If you are going through the drive thru then it is about a 50/50 shot that you order will be correct and have all of the items that you ordered. Portions are also hit and miss. Go through once and that XXL burrito lives up to its name. The next time that XXL burrito is a glorified soft shelled taco rolled over on itself. I have literally gotten multiple tacos from here with no meat on them. THE MAIN REASON YOU SHOULD AVOID IT: This location has seriously raised prices. Those $1 Nacho Fries? They are $1.29 here. That New $2 Duo Deal? It's $2.99 here. The $5 Boxes? Nope, you are going to pay $5.99 at this location. I could make my peace with that if they were paying higher wages or the orders were always up to portion and correct but NONE of that is true. They pay no more than any other local restaurant and as mentioned above, order accuracy and portions are hit and miss at best. FINAL THOUGHT: If you are craving Taco Bell and your life will end if you don't get it or have to wait a couple of exits longer to get it... then it is your only option. My advice, check out some of the other local restaurants and make a "Run For The Border" somewhere on down the road. read more
