If you're easily startled by the sudden, thunderous WHOMP of a golf ball hitting a virtual screen, maybe swallow that chicken wing before someone takes their backswing. It's like choking hazard, but make it sporty. Our server, Bradley, was exceptional. Attentive without hovering, impeccable timing, and always seemingly appearing right when we needed something. His service was a hole-in-one. Lol. Food-wise, the menu plays a straightforward game. Nothing creative or groundbreaking; the entrees are reliable but don't quite deliver the nostalgic comfort-food. Fortunately, the prices are refreshingly affordable, so your wallet won't be screaming "fore!" by the time the check arrives. Although, the roasted Brussels sprouts were the undisputed MVP. If the rest of the menu is playing a casual nine holes, those Brussels sprouts are out here competing for the championship. Overall, Trade Street Social is affordable food, sports, golf, and a lively atmosphere.

I told her we won't be able to sit here because the kids will literally fall over the chairs and she got an attitude and sat us at a booth and stormed off. We ordered our food and my husband ordered a steak burrito. They gave him a chicken burrito. We waited for our server and she never came back after almost 10 mins. We told her and she just said "sorry" and walked off. My husband went to the bathroom and she came to the table and took his plate without asking. I was distracted feeding my child til I realized his plate was gone. I asked her where his food went and she said she took it. She was like oh well sorry. My food was burnt and disgusting. I will not be back. Horrible service and food. Another turn off is the menu said only one basket of chips per table! Crazy especially since we ordered cheese dip.

Close second are 4 Locos Tacos and Mextizo in third. I had two pollo and two pastor with cilantro, onions, tomato and cheese on each. Outstanding. The conclusion here is that the tortilla and preparation itself is the winner for Greer Taco, and it is a corn tortilla. It just occurred to me that the other two placeholders in this quest actually ask if I prefer corn or flour and I alway...always...always get the corn tortilla. So, it really did not hit me until this review that at GT, this is a given. They are well cooked, but not falling apart and not a hint of dryness that may be found in other corn tortillas. This is not a fancy place, it is in the flea market, for crying out loud, but that is a great place for it to be, and business is good. Quesadilla, tamale and burrito are other options, but go with the tacos. Footnote: I am not including any "fancy tacos" in this quest, so you will not see any bang bang taco or kimchi taco or such that other places may have because that is a different quest of a different thing (looking at you Willie Taco, White Duck Taco and Tipsy Taco).

The bartender bursting with Southern personality stands behind the rich, wood-worn bar, confident and radiant. Her sleeves are rolled up, a few loose strands of hair catching the daylight as she moves with effortless rhythm. A warm, knowing smile spreads across her face as she happily serves a jug of the house-made egg nog. Soon after, she prepares a crafty Old Fashioned--measuring the bourbon, stirring clear ice in a heavy rocks glass, perfectly embodying the brewery's quirky southern soul and big-hearted attitude. There's a lived-in comfort to the space: scuffed wood that tells stories, sunlight pooling across tables, and small-town pride in every detail. The atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious, equal parts gathering place and second home. It's where locals come not just for the beer or cocktails, but for the familiarity--the nods, the shared jokes, the sense of belonging that keeps them hanging around long after the glass is empty.
