The only. Way that it got one star is because it wouldn't let me leave a rating without leaving something. 2 times in 1 week, I've been at this particular Taco Bell.And ordered food and both times my order has been shirt items. A n d the order was wrong both times. The staff is extremely rude and unaccommodating. A person claiming to be the manager even step forward and was no help. After the first employee (the one who made the order) walked off the floor and not to return, the next 2 weren't any better. It's a shame that a simple request of bagging the individual meals separate turned into an issue and left off items that we PAID for both times. Very Bad service. Ordered a burrito, it was cold!, Gave it back to the attendant he threw it away and fixed me another one. It also was cold! If I could give it zero stars, I would. Staff is extremely rude. Order is ALWAYS wrong. Don't get me wrong, I eat here about once every couple of months. Who doesn't love tacos?!?! For fast food its taco bell for sure. As far as they go this one is clean and people are friendly. Its right by Austin park so take it to go and ait on the water!! The place was nice and clean. We are vegetarians so they were very helpful with letting us know what we should get and what to substitute and omit. Wow! We stopped by this taco bell while spending a couple days at Clear Lake. I have to say I have been to hundreds of taco bells in my day all over the country and this had to be the slowest one that I have ever been to. We placed our order and I went and sat down at a table, while he stood and waited for our number to be called. Literally 20 minutes or more passed before our number was called. The "new and improved" Clearlake taco bell is a total joke. Before the remodel it was slow but the food was good. But now last nite I was there in the drive thru #7 in line with 6 cars behind me when we got to the window, oh I forgot the part where we waited for 35 minutes before I got to the window and finally @ the window and they didn't make 2 of the 4 burritos ordered, then another 5 minutes for that and those two were absolutely horrible But the dogs loved them. Last week my husband walked inside and waited 30 minutes there. This place is anything but fast food. I AM SOOO disappointed as are a lot of others. I see the other reviews from years past talk about how slow the service is, so I thought, since the just re-opened, all shiny and new, that maybe they had gotten new staff and TRAINING! I WAS TOTALLY WRONG!! We waited for 20 mins then went to see why our number was not called, there was a huge crowd waiting by the counter by this time, and then they started asking for everyone's reciepts! Apparently the orders were not going back to the kitchen on the POS system and they only figured it out after 20 mins!! We were number 31 and they had not served no 17 yet!! We got our money back, and had to take $1.59 of our change in dimes because they ran out of change.. it was ridiculous. I will never go here again and I live in Hidden Valley so this is by far the closest Taco Bell. It appears there is no training, and to top it off they hired complete idiots because how they could not have noticed that the orders were not going out for over 20 mins is beyond me.. especially with the crowd waiting at the counter!!!!! Went to Jack in the Box instead and got great service and true fast food! Actually one of the best JIB I've been too. so lesson learned.. read more
