I had hoped not to return to Yelp during my Lakeport visit. But Papa Murphy's failed. We have been ordering pizza every couple nights while doing our construction project. Papa Murphy's has been our go to. Fair price, good pizza, good customer service... Until tonight. I ordered the pizza I ordered 2 days ago - the All Meat Pizza. But I substituted pineapple for the hamburger. This time, I wanted more substitutions, however, when the cashier totaled me out, my pizza was almost $20 instead of the $12 I spent the day before. I didn't argue, but asked why? He said because you got a different pizza. Mind you, the day prior they didn't charge me for my substitution. I walked out. Seems inconsistent. read more

Can't say enough about this pizza place. The manager is exceptionally polite, professional and treats the customer right ALWAYS!!! If I am correct her name is Kristie. She has prompt and courteous service. I recently had a minor concern and the manager went above and beyond!!! I have not mentioned the fact that the pizzas are done quickly, fresh and made well. 3 strikes and your out. I have always liked Papa Murphy's in particular for the Chicken Bacon Artichoke Delite. 'Delite' being the key word here. Per their menu, that means, "crispy thin crust". I was thrilled when they opened a place in Lakeport. I went in to order a pizza shortly after they opened to order my favorite. The place was a mad house but I waited in line, got my pizza and took it home. The pizza was a total disappointment but I chalked it up to being brand new. I tried it again a few months later and again was disappointed. Do these people not know what 'Delite' means? It's their term. The crust was normal thickness for a 'regular' pizza and certainly not what I expected. I figured 'it's I ever went back I would let them know I wanted a thin crust. Last night on my way home from out of town, I called to order a my favorite pizza. I figured that they have been open for quite a while now and must have it down. I was willing to give them another chance.i called at 7:40. Larry answered the phone. I told him I wanted to order a pizza. He said, We close at 8. Seriously! It takes what, 5 minutes to lay out a pre-made crust and put the toppings on and wrap it? He said he only had 1 other person working with him. Apparently they don't want to work past their closing time or they aren't there to sell pizza. I gave them 3 chances. I will not go back. I will order when I'm out of town and just bring it home from wherever I am. read more

Sloppy pizza. They had sauce under the cardboard, so it was hard to get the pizza off the tray. They keep the receipt so you can't make a review on the Company website, because you no longer have the store number! They are getting worse and worse. We tend to order frequently. Last pizza was extremely soggy in the middle. This week the employee who was making the pizza doesn't cover her nose with her mask! Plan to report them to the health dept! read more

As is with most places in Lake County, they start off great and with time slowly fall apart. The last 2 times I've gone in the customer service is the worst. I dont know what happened to all the nice people that they hired when they opened, but the people that work in there now at the opening hour are not friendly.....I have celiac disease and usually they are on it and knowledgeable. The last 2 times they just said, "uhh...we will do what we can". Ok, thanks, will be taking my business somewhere else. read more

Sauce. Means. A. Lot. To. Me. I ordered a large pizza half cowboy; extra sauce, and half chicken bacon artichoke; extra sauce. When I asked for extra sauce...THEY GAVE ME EXTRA SAUCE.... We are so happy that Papa Murphy's Take and Bake pizza came to Lakeport. Now we don't have to go to Santa Rosa for great pizza. The Lakeport store is clean, and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The pizza is great, and you get to watch them prepare it. Best of all is the $12 large pizza special on Tuesday - what a deal ! We get our favorite - the stuffed Big Murphy, full of meats and veggies. read more

I just discovered Papa Murphy's on Christmas Eve. I was able to order online and the pizza was ready when I arrived. In the last two weeks, I've ordered from them 4 times and only had one minor issue. The owner was quick to respond and emailed me. They have the best pizza in Lake County if you don't mind cooking it at home. read more
