I really do not like being told to pull into a parking spot while in the drive thru. I go through the drive thru to drive thru, not stop and park obviously. I never understood why fast food restaurants with drive thrus do this? There was no line either. Besides the initial annoyance of being told to go around to park, the service was good, our food was brought out promptly by a friendly enough guy. The food was hot and fresh as can be for fast food. I was on the fence between 3-4 stars and what made me go with 4 stars is the good friendly customer service. My husband and I went to go get hamburgers for my son, and we were watching the cashier counting the drawer that was set upon the kiosk, where the hamburgers come out as he was counting all the money with his hands, he neglected to wash his hands while he handled all the food. Yes, they were busy and I understand that, but just knowing that he didn't even wash, his hands was thoroughly disgusting. As we received our hamburgers, I did tell the cashier that I want to catch up only there was cheese on them so they had to remake them. My husband did address the fact that he didn't wash his hands to the cashier. And the cashiers reply was "whatever dude." I was appalled. I could not believe that this worker was just so completely rude and disrespectful. This is not the first time we've had some bad interaction at this Carl's Jr., which I told my husband I will never go into again I'm done, but it is thoroughly filthy which the health department should come and take pay them a visit it is so filthy, and with the employees not washing their hands and handling food especially nowadays anytime for that matter but especially nowadays with all the crap that's going around. It just was really unsettling and it triggered me in a way that I just was not happy with the customer service at all and it's just so sad to me that customer service has gone down the toilet it really has. this guy had no right to talk to us the way he did. It was thoroughly upsetting. And I get it for everyone there's 10 more but that's not the way people should think about things. They really should do customer service and really be proud of their jobs not go and be nasty to customers and rude and spit in their food not wash their hands and just gross things going on . When I first walked in, I thought is was weird that there was nobody inside and that there were 4 employees behind the counter. When I went to get my drink, I could not believe the mess near the soda fountains. The small lids were completely gone. Every trash container was full, the salsa bar was empty and a mess and the benches to sit on had food all over them. Whoever hires these employees isn't reading all of these horrible reviews. While we were sitting eating we heard a huge belch and it wasn't another customer because there wasn't any! While we were leaving, we noticed some of the employees were outside in the back smoking. Usually, I've been rather pleased with this Carl's Jr compared with other locations. Today however, I come in, and I overheard the manager speaking with an employee about how slow the day has been. I ordered food for me and my family, and when we went to go choose a table... there were SO MANY that weren't wiped down! If things are so slow, why aren't you having your employees clean tables or push a broom?! This has been one of the grossest experiences I've had here. I went in to order dinner for my husband and I. Went to the bathroom first. No toilet paper in either stall and one toilet was clogged. Came out to order and tell about bathroom. A worker there said he was going to check the bathroom, so I didn't say anything. He was a young black man with braids and wore his pants down under his butt with his dirty panties showing. He walked in and came right out and said "bathrooms are good" . I guess clogged and flooded with no tp is good there. Well, whatever so I order. There are 2 tables in the restaurant, one has their food other is waiting, then me. Took 17 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers, fries? Also please see my picture of the ice tea canister. Best fast food hamburger. But a bunch of rude tweakers work here. Some are young people with already the emaciated faces of meth heads. They messed up our order 3xs, and got them mixed up w/ two other orders. Their was a total of 10 people in the restaurant. The restraint is also not as clean. Grease splotches on the walls. Dirty toilets, dirty salsa bar, dirty floors,dirty mirrors. If I am going to have fast food, it Carl's Jr., but w/ this crew.....I won't be returning to this one. Horrible service! I'm a very patient and understanding person but it shouldn't take more than 30mins to place an order and wait for your food while going through a FAST food drive-thru. I ended up waiting 15mins to get to the speaker box, then I waited another 5mins at the speaker box before anyone even said anything, then it was another 15mins just to pull to the window to get my food. There were no apologies or anything which made it more frustrating. Sunday afternoon, October 28, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Purchased four combo meals, three with milkshakes. (See photo) Told by manager this afternoon that because we didn't want whip cream that the milkshakes come like this. Barely half full. I've never seen anything like this before or heard about anything like this before. We were shorted milkshake, because we didn't want whip cream. I really like Carl's Jr. There food seems a little better quality than other fast food places. The restrooms and rest of the building are clean at this location. An experience I had a few weeks ago is what really gave this place five stars. I forgot my purse at the place and when I returned they had taken it into the back and saved it for me. They also don't take cards if the cardholder isn't present, which I think is great and probably helps cut down ID theft. I love Carls Jr. I have since I was a kid. I guess that's why I keep going back hoping that they will get my order correct. The drive through server is always polite and attentive. A little back story..... I have a pet peeve, unconnected to Carls Jr, that stems from childhood when I witnessed a cook spitting in a plate of food. When I told my father what I had seen, expecting him to raise a ruckus, his response was "thats what happens when you piss off the cook". So needless to say I have never returned a single meal at any establishment asking for the food to be re-cooked. Back to present day...... I, unfortunately for me, am allergic to onion. Onions being one of the most widely used vegetables in cooking, as well as many of its relatives like shallot, leek, chive, etc. Luckily not garlic (thank god). With as many different types of onions, and the endless ways that onions are used, my allergies manifest in an equal number of ways, we are just going to skip to the worst of the worst. One bite of raw white or yellow onion, if swallowed will be an immediate trip to the ER for an epinephrine and benadryl cocktail, to avoid anaphylaxis. If un swallowed I can get away with chewing up a few benadryl, and call it a night. I know this is long winded but there is a point to it. So obviously I am very careful about what I order at any establishment, and I always, no matter what, make sure to say that there is an onion allergy, and I ask the server to please pass that info along verbally. With all of that being said, this is in the hopes, all be it a slim chance, that the owner of this specific Carls Jr. reads this review. Now if i order a burger or sandwich somewhere and ask for no onion and during the process of making the item some onion is accidentally finds its way in and then is discovered and removed, I still can't eat it. Needless to say I am really good at sniffing out the accidents. Now we are getting to the point of this incredibly long review. So when I order a burger with no onions and I get the burger with onions on it, I am assed out. Considering that if I returned the burger most places would simply take off the onion, and re-serve me the same burger. If I were to insist on a new burger all together we then run into my childhood issue of seeing the cook spitting into the plate of food. With allllll of that being said this particular Carls Jr. has literally put onions on 28 out of 30, I always order two Superstar's with no onion and a large Coke ($18 and some change), fifteen orders in total. Keep in mind that this has been over at least a six month period of time. Maybe I am a slow learner but after doing the math, I have finally decided that I will never be visiting this particular Carls Jr. again. I have taken the incredible amount of time writing this review hoping that somehow the owner of this establishment realizes that they could be facing a huge lawsuit due to the level of gross negligence that their employees display on a regular basis. read more

I was at Carl's Jr the other day. The person who waited on me was a young lady with tattoos, nothing against the tats just a way to ID her. Another customer made mention of our President. Right away the young lady went into a tirade saying that president Trump should be killed. That she wished he was dead. This went on for about 3 minutes. First the girl who took our order forgot to make it while I was standing there waiting because she was too busy talking and giggling with another employee, and then my boyfriends order was a mess. He ordered a meal box with large fries and when we got it there was about 10 fries thrown on top of his burger, and the burger itself was sloppy and small. When we went back in to ask for more fries since we paid for a large they refused and said that's how they were trained to make it. We went back in again to tell them again we were dissatisfied and both the employees and the manager were talking smack about us coming back in. They are okay. Seem pretty clean most of the time. Only issue here is they can take a long time to get your order to you. Carls is the pricier fast food option so I expect it at least quickly.
