This is the new chips and cheese?

Note: this is a 2.5 star review. I was glad to see that this location was opening as it will be an option for some quick snaps when passing through the area. I ordered through the app, customizing my food. When I arrived to pick it up, they didn't even know which order was mine, as the receipt had disappeared period they asked me to tell them my order and they figured out which bag was mine. I got in the car, drove awaile and realized the customizations were incomplete. The chips and cheese were much smaller than usual and all my pizza beans were on one side. Weird. It tasted okay, but it was just odd.

Woah! I am actually surprised at the bad reviews. The cashier took my order right away, very nice and fast service. The whole store looks good and very clean. 1 Bean burrito done in like 5 mins. Excellent service. I could hang in here for a few hours if I had to or if I had to set a meeting with anyone.

Not a good look. I didn't have much of an issue when it came to ordering my food. Quick and easy. I was the only customer there and it took them some time to get my order together. 3 tacos and a soda. I figured with all that time spent, my tacos would be in good shape. They hardly had any beef in them. It was quite ridiculous actually. Also every taco was broken. I don't how how that managed to break every shell when there was hardly any filling to begin with. Also...all those tables and chairs and customers aren't allowed to sit and eat? Y'all know those tacos get soggy in minutes, so you have to eat them fresh. Disappointed.

How do you miss the beef on a Beefy Melt Burrito?

Ordered a power bowl and burrito supreme and got food poisoning. Only go here if you want to projectile vomit.

I don't recommend ordering through an app so that you can check to make sure you have all your items and can grab your own sauces.

It was still fairly busy inside, but it was mostly people grabbing to-go orders. After ordering I snagged a spot at the counter. There's extremely limited seating, so I wouldn't bank on eating at the restaurant when it's busy. Be prepared to take your food to go. I got the Nene's Deluxe, which comes with a taco, a mulita, and an empanada - all with Birria of course. It was all delicious. The mulita was at the bottom of the box and got completely soaked with Birria. It was extremely messy to eat. Get plenty of napkins. I also got a side of fries and nacho cheese, because it was a long week and I deserved it. They had a seasonal strawberry horchata as well. This was okay. I also think I might just not love horchata in general. This meal definitely hit the spot. The Birria and consommé were top notch. I would return in a heartbeat.

I tried something different than my usual and went with the Adobada Tacos (Pork Al Pastor). The meat itself was spicy and a little rough, which leads me to believe it was maybe old meat. Instead of cubed, the pineapple was shredded which offered a nice touch. Unfortunately the actual taco got soggy by the time I ate it so I just picked out the meats and pineapple. There is plenty of avocado green sauce placed on top, which moving forward, I will request to be on the side to prevent the taco from getting soggy. Overall I probably should just stick to what I know/like so I'm willing to give this location another shot!

Our reservation was for 8:30pm, but we arrived early and Alejandra, the hostess, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Even though she was ready to seat us, we decided to hang at the bar until the rest of our party arrived and that was the perfect move. Alkarys behind the bar was top-tier. She recommended the Siempre Reposado, and let me tell you... smooth, clean, dangerously good. If you're into tequila, that's a must. Now let's talk about the food. We ordered the quesadilla, rajas, tamales, tacos, and the queso fundido and every single dish hit. The queso fundido came out bubbling, rich, perfectly melted with that pull you want when you scoop it up. The tamales were moist and packed with flavor, wrapped beautifully and clearly made with care. The rajas had that perfect balance of roasted pepper sweetness and savory depth. The tacos? Authentic, well-seasoned, and layered with flavor, no shortcuts. Even the quesadilla stood out, crispy on the outside with that perfectly melted interior. Everything felt traditional, elevated but still true to its roots. You can taste the authenticity. Service was attentive without being overbearing, the ambiance was super casual and laid back, the kind of Brooklyn spot you pull up to for a real dinner experience, not just a quick bite. Highly recommend this place if you're out and about in Brooklyn. Definitely coming back for the tequila, the queso fundido, and round two of those tacos. I'm gonna try eating at the bar to check out the spot in the front of the house.
