Experience did not go well. I realize that they just recently opened, but leaving the only ordering car in the Drive-through for 10 minutes after taking a simplistic order seems fairly unacceptable. #1- this place doesn't accept online ordering which is QUITE annoying for a vegetarian. Using the app, I can make all sorts of meals for myself. When I have to order the substitutions at the drive in, it's always all messed up. It's 2021 and absurd that they don't accept online ordering. Get it together. #2- I ordered a bean burrito and it is positively tiny. There is maybe 2 tablespoons of beans and giant flaps of tortilla. How expensive are refried beans?! You really have to skimp this bad on beans? I couldn't even get it replaced because I got right back on the road before I opened the bag. #3- the inside of the burrito is SO DRY! There's no sauce and almost no cheese. What in the world? This is the easiest thing to make on the menu. This location needs to step up its game. I am genuinely annoyed. Oh my god, this is anything but fast food. It took them only about 30 seconds to get to taking our order, but about 15 minutes to actually get us our food. Everyone seemed to be lost. There were three people standing around in back looking like they were trying to figure out how to operate equipment. The woman running the counter kept shouting out things she needed made. It was just chaos and confusion. We weren't the only ones waiting. There were about four orders in front of us. We went here to get something quick and it was totally disappointing. A few of the tables were also really dirty so we were glad we weren't staying. They were also out of mild sauce when we asked for some. To compensate us for our wait the manager gave us a couple of free sodas. After we filled our cups, we tried to find some place to throw the wrappers from our straws. All the trash bins we're turned to face the wall and the only option was a trash can outside. When we got around to eating our food the Mexican Pizza I ordered was completely different that Mexican Pizzas I've ordered before at other locations and it was packaged completely different. We don't eat a lot of fast food, but necessity gave us few choices today. So we tried this combined KFC/Taco Bell just off the Interstate. I wouldn't come back here if they fed me for free. I should have known when I came in what we wee in for. Let me list them. However, I blame management. Here they are: (1) long line for service; don't they put two people on counter at dinner time? There were plenty of other people in the back. (2) tired and highly unmotivated server--she responded to my complaints by saying "I just work here" (really) (3) complex and hard to read wall menu--small letters, multiple choices etc. (4) incomplete menu and supplies--even things advertised by a poster in the entrance (pot pies, e.g.) are stocked out; they also had heavy advertising for nacho fries--but I was told they would only start serving them "tomorrow" (5) food is tasteless (burrito) or undercooked (fries). I asked to talk to the manager, but was told he was out with sick kids. Maybe they ate at Taco Bell in Benson? Worst Taco Bell Ever! Stay away! Inside it is FILTHY! It looks like the floors are never cleaned, there is trash and food all over, bugs, the counters are dirty, and the employee's uniforms looks like they're never washed. We ordered 3 things and 2 out of 3 were correct in the receipt but made wrong. One I asked to have corrected and it was made incorrectly TWICE before they could get it right. It was a Beef Gordita Supreme and they made a cheesy gordita crunch 3 times! I had to tell the person in the kitchen that it doesn't have a taco inside it. The staff was not friendly at all. Did not greet us and did not apologize when the food was made incorrectly. Save yourself the aggravation and go to McDonald's if you're going to eat in the area. Horrible service - never even ate there after having waited for a really long time and then had to wait as the cashier searched for the button for our order -- then he called another guy over to search for the right button -- all to no avail. This place is horrible. Living in a small town you do not have a lot of options. You would expect to have better service and fresh food ... at this Taco Bell/KFC you do not get either. The prices are higher than what is advertised on TV and at other locations. The torillas, taco shells and the biscuits are never fresh. They have been stale everytime i have gone there. This location has both a KFC and Taco Bell. Besides having half the menu of a normal taco bell, the restaurant is clean but outdated. The Pepsi fountain is probably older then me, the decor and interior is old and outdated, very worn. The cashier wasn't even aware of the huge promo on the menu stating a large drink was $1 with the purchase of an XXL Nacho and overcharged me. The service was fast and friendly, but going at lunch was a mistake. Their was 100 senior citizens at the KFC buffet was is horribly located next to the order counter. I am a Taco Bell regular and this is by far the worst one I've ever been to. If I could give it zero stars, I would. I ate there once a few years ago and was disappointed in their food quality. Heading home from a recent long road-trip to New Mexico for work, I stopped here hoping things had improved. What a mistake! The beans in the burritos were not fully reconstituted, so hard, dry beans almost shattered a tooth as I was eating. This location is combined with a KFC, can't speak for the quality there as I've not been able to convince myself to try it. Their menu is limited and higher priced than any of the Tucson locations. I recommend starving for another 30 minutes to wait until Tucson if heading west on I-10 past Benson. If you're heading east...well, just keep driving. BTW McDonald's is next door! read more

We waited in line forever, as the only cashier kept walking away from the register for extended periods of time and wandering around picking up trays or talking to the the staff. I've eaten here numerous times since this had been open. Every time I go with the hope that things have changed. Literally, EVERY single time I have gone here there was something wrong with my order. I have been charged the wrong amount, given the wrong order, shorted on my order, given chicken that was still raw in the middle, found hair in my food and been told to wait for an order and forgotten about! Honestly, this place is a bit of a joke. They prioritize the KFC food over Taco Bell food so if you order Taco Bell, expect people that have ordered after you to get their food first. I've seen them completely run out of 2 different kinds of soda for the day.They have forgetten to give items and then demand a receipt when one wasn't given. Stopped here because I thought the restrooms would be cleaner than the gas station's next door. WRONG. Temperature outside is 101 degrees and their AC is not working. No one was at the counter, and it took them about 3 minutes to even acknowledge my presence, and same with a different customer who even had to ask if they were open. Only one of the restroom stalls was working and it was filthy. Paper towel dispenser dispenser was empty. When I sat down to eat there were several flies trying to get to my food, tables had crumbs all over. The trash bin was so full I couldn't even open the swinging door to throw my trash out. I actually won't go here anymore. The restaurant could be empty and you still sit in the drive thru for at least 20 minutes just to get the wrong order......everytime. I also have inside informaton that an employee that works there, has a home that is so infested with cockroaches that this informant stated that he watched a roach crawling on this womans neck with no reaction from her, as if it was a normal everyday thing. Also this same unsanitary person, i witnessed inside the restaurant got fed up with customers asking for more chicken in the buffet, because it kept running out. we stopped twice this past weekend ... once after our visit to kartchner caverns and once on our way home after our visit to the chiricahuas. we did drive thru both times, and both times service was quick and competent. prices were marginally higher than my local phoenix taco bell, but based on the freeway location it is to be expected. our food was fine the first time, and a little less than fine the second time. one interesting note: they don't use the "standard" taco bell chips in the nachos, which was disappointing. and yes, i do realize that it is pathetic i am aware of what the "standard" taco bell chip should be. this is a fine taco bell ... i say give it a shot if you need your fast-food fix in benson. read more

Today I witnessed one of the most disrespectful things I've ever seen. In the drive thru was a car with 6 young Marines. They were sharing a video when the order taker told them to stop recording her. They explained they were not videoing her she called them liars then refused to let them pay from the window. She made them come in to pay and get their food. The Marine in charge asked to speak with the manager. The manager turned out to be the one at the window that had called them liars. She came around the corner screaming that they were lying and told them she didn't care. The Marine told her he would report the incident to corporate, she screamed back she would call her manager and say they were lying. I stood at the counter and watched in disbelief as the store manager made continued to be disrespectful while the young marines were cool, collected and professional. That manager need to find a new place to work as I'm sure Taco Bell would never tolerate this behavior. read more
