It was a bit hot on Labor Day weekend when a friend and I wandered in after realizing our planned restaurant did not open until 11- and this was open already at 10:30 as we were hungry for our breakfast/lunch.
Service was lovely and very efficient with bring out fresh chips and pico de gallo and huge ice waters. The chips were perfectly fresh and that pico was good ! Love all the festive decor inside and out and it was not crowded until halfway through our meals.
I had the three queso Birria tacos and I have to say those were among best I have had. Says a lot when raised in Tucson where best Mexican food resides!! The cheese was plenty and all melted and gooey and shells cooked perfectly and the guac side I got plus the lime, parsley, etc on plate were delicious to add. My friend's tostada was tasty and she enjoyed too.
