    Meatloaf egg breakfast and burger

Very cute little restaurant, indoor and outdoor seating. Everything is made to order but food didn't take too long, and was super fresh. Possibly best meatloaf I've ever had and the burger was also a solid choice.

Last day in Benson we decided to go out to eat. We heard of this place called the Farmhouse Restaurant and are so happy we went. It was so good! We split the farmers hash and the eggs Benedict. I took most of the fruit and dad got the cantaloupe. Everything was so fresh and delicious.

Stopped here with family and sat outside on their patio cause we had my grandmas dog with us and they don't allow dogs inside (for anyone pet owners curious). It was cold but we brought blankets. Staff was nice and gave great service. I ordered the slam breakfast special with bacon, eggs, sausage, and pancakes and it was good!

I had the best Philly Steak Sandwich I think I've ever had today!! I asked for a side of au jus which was also absolutely delicious as well. The coffee was strong. The waitress was attentive and clearly well loved by the local patrons. Everything came out quickly despite the sign stating "Slow down, live longer. Everything is made to order" on the wall. I will absolutely come back if I'm ever in the Benson area again. This place had the absolute best food I've had in a while and all at a reasonable price.

Breakfast with biscuit and gravy. Pretty good.

Cute, small little restaurant with eclectic decor. Our server was busy but very nice. We wanted some home cooked food instead of fast food on the way to Tombstone. My hubbies breakfast was really good. The vegetable soup is a bit odd but the cornbread muffin was amazing! My chicken cordon bleu was delicious! Crispy chicken with plenty of ham and cheese. Yum! Very reasonable prices. A solid four stars. Check it out.

Great little restaurant in Benson. We arrived on Saturday morning and were seated right away. Only one server was working, so it took a little time as the restaurant got busier. Standard home cooked breakfast options. What surprised us most was the fresh squeezed orange juice served in frosted mugs. So amazing! Omelettes were smaller than I expected but still a good size and delicious. The fruit salad totally stood out with so many kinds of fruit, way better than the standard melons and grapes. Our server was kind and totally understood gluten free. The kitchen was good about being careful. But they don't have any GF bread/toast or anything. Bummer.

The yellow house on the main drag.

Yummy breakfast at Benson's very own Farm House!! Everything Phil does is so good! Homemade pastries, some of the best homemade apple butter you'll ever have, great soups, and world-class hamburgers. Much better than the fast food joints in town. Fine country fried beef steak and country fried pork steak! So good! Biscuits and gravy... with homemade biscuits! Real biscuits! Do you have a hankering for real homemade, down home food? The Farmhouse is the place!

Ask the Community - Farmhouse Restaurant

Sounds like they are like the Horseshoe restaurant not ADA compliant?

Probably not. i never used the bathroom so I can't be positive. But the space is cramped and I've never seen a person in a wheelchair.

The guy working there was just plain nice and awesome personality. I ordered to go. Unfortunately my ribs looked like rubber way overcooked and the food was cold this was my first time trying this food it smelled great from outside the restaurant. Beans were spicy I liked them but had some kick so those be aware of it if you're not into spicy hot foods. Brisket was tender but cold for $50.00 I expect some quality food from a bbq place. I don't think I'll be stoping back on the way back I'm from California on a road trip to New Orleans. Very disappointed we had a 5 family members they all complained how bad their food was too. The positions were very small too 3 bites for the one slice of brisket you get. I actually excepted a bit more of a serving when you see the pictures of the order on the main menu. When you receive it looks nothing like you ordered it gets very upsetting and hurts your pocket book. We did not have time to return or get a new order as it was a quick stop and go. We had long drive to our hotel in El Paso Texas. The guy helping us was great no complaints about him. Food gets a -10 guy helping us gets a +10

Between the live music and the old historic vibe, I think it's one of the coolest experiences in town! The history behind the place is also really interesting. It's the second-oldest restaurant in Arizona and opened in 1880. The building used to be the Grand Hotel before it burned down in 1882 & was rebuilt, and there's a lot of history connected to it. The food isn't luxury dining, but I've never been disappointed with a burger or sandwich with some onion rings (really tasty btw). My girlfriend also loves the Macho Nachos. Overall it's just a fun spot with good prices, good service, and a Wild West-sized load of character

Even on a Tuesday afternoon in mid-April, this joint was bustling with live music, servers rushing about in their period costumes, and the chatter of happy patrons enjoying themselves and taking it all in. Whether a lover of frontier history, western cinema, or just plain ol' drinking in a genuine saloon, Big Nose Kate's screams, "WELCOME TO THE TOWN TOO TOUGH TO DIE!" Upon entering, our party was seated in a raised section above the main floor near the front windows. It was an excellent spot to see all the action (including a monitor playing the movie Tombstone, BTW) as we perused the menu of appetizers, entrees, and libations. The selection of specialty drinks was impressive, though I opted for a simple "Big Ass" draft pilsner (flavorful and locally brewed). My wife did order a Cowboy Sangria - and it appears wimpy drinks "don't go around here, Law Dog," because she thought it was good but a bit too strong. I actually had to finish it for her. (Such a chivalrous sacrifice!) But don't assume that Kate's is just a drinking establishment; there's quite a variety of eats, as well. Good-sized, tasty looking burgers and sandwiches passed by our table, which were tempting; however, not being overly hungry, we decided to sample a few of their appetizers as we moved on to another round of beers. The Buffalo Wings were good but nothing really special. The Soft Pretzel Basket - actually one HUGE pretzel served with cheese and mustard sauces - was warm, salty, and much bigger than anyone anticipated. It was enjoyed by our entire table. When visiting, don't neglect a trip to the gift shop, which can be accessed from a spiral staircase right in the center of the dining area. Their menu recounts that a part of this underground area was once the abode of the saloon's swamper, and you can even view his living cubby and mining tunnel when below. Of course, there's lots of branded swag available for sale down there, too! Big Nose Kate's Saloon is a must-see stop for Tombstone visitors. Priced aren't exorbitant, portions are generous, and the food and drinks are pretty darned good, as was evident from the satisfied looks of the diners and drinkers around us . You may even be approached by Steve, who offers FREE photos (from your personal camera or phone) with props and piano-top poses - now how can you beat that value? Make it a point to come on in, belly up to the bar, and enjoy the saloon's hospitality.

It was hard to have a conversation or even hear the server at times because of the live music out in the common area of the space. The music was good, it was just rather loud. Otherwise the vibe of the space if enjoyable with its nostalgia and stuff. In the past I've ranked my experience five stars but I had to bring it down a notch. I had the meatloaf dinner and my husband had Copper(something) pasta dish. Both were lukewarm at best. The flavors were still good but it wasn't a hot dish by any means, and the meatloaf was a bit saltier than I remember. For the pasta dish, the warm bread was hotter than the pasta dish itself. We didn't send it back because I noticed the server was handling dishes returned to the kitchen at the next table, and our dishes weren't cold or anything, they were just warm. I still maintain they absolutely deserve four stars because I suspect the kitchen might have been having an off night and the food was very good (just the meatloaf was a tad salty). We really enjoyed the mushroom appetizer and the beer selection is excellent.
