The ribs are fantastic! We were a group of 14 people. Ordering was efficient. Food quality was excellent. Highly recommend!

They ask you if you want butter on your baked potato, but it's not butter. It's margarine. When the bill comes, the amount of the dinner is more than the price on the menu. When we inquired why there was a difference we were told there is a 4% charge for using a credit card. If you use cash, they take the 4% off. They assume you are using a credit card. Friendly and efficient staff who worked together beautifully in seeing to a large gathering next to us, while seeing to the other individual tables without missing a beat. We noticed your professionalism and your positive energy! Our steak and chicken fajitas were perfect! Another local place that use to be good. They have changed a lot in the last year. If you came here for the bread and beans before your meal it's no longer given. Now you can pay for chips and salsa. The prices have just gotten to be a lot here for what you get. I wouldn't mind the prices if you still got the beans and bread but you're not. Last time we went our bill was almost $150 for four people. Nothing special was ordered. No liquor, appetizers or desserts. read more

Tried this restaurant last night for the first time and I will not be back. Lots of empty tables but "no tables available and 2 tables in front of you so might be a while." No actual time frame provided. We opted to wait. No one left but about 30 minutes later there was magically a table for all of us waiting. Hmm. Now on to the review: Entrees: 1. My Ribeye was not cooked properly. I ordered Medium and I received well (around the outside) and mid well in the middle. The mid well pieces were cold. Something tells me they put a frozen steak in the microwave to "thaw" it a bit and then threw it on the grill to "cook" it. Didn't notice the sour meat smell until it was too late. Paying for that miss today since I now have a stomach ache. 2. Dad's Sirloin and Ribs were missing the Ribs.... The Waitress failed to tell him that they did not have any more ribs, instead she just changed to order to a Sirloin. Sides: 1. Corn was good. However it was cold. BUT, is it possible to screw up corn? Lol 2. Mashed Potatoes - Dad -serving size was small but, ok. 3. Beans - Dad likes beans no matter how they taste. Only exception would be if they tasted like dirt. So, ok. 4. Salad - The one part of my meal I enjoyed. Ala Carte order 1. Onion Rings - Good but, expected more than 4 for the price. Service: The waitress we got was slow and had poor communication. My Dad would have gotten a different menu item if she had told him there were no ribs. When she came to bus our table we asked for the check. She seemed upset that we didn't allow her to offer dessert but, that was the fastest she moved when she got our check. The hostess was indifferent when my Dad complained about the lack of ribs on his "steak and ribs" meal and had to be asked to check the receipt to make sure he wasn't charged. All in all a crap experience. I had high hopes for the food here and was let down. If you are going to spend $30 per plate, find someplace else to give your money to. read more

So-So Restaraunt nothing special Staff was not very nice whatsoever and unknowledgeable about their dishes and . food was mediocre and one of my dishes had to be sent back, but they removed it from the check with no problem whatsoever. We ate dinner here with some friends. We were promptly greeted and seated, and our friendly and efficient server took our drink orders. The Prickly Pear Margarita was a hit at the table. We skipped appetizers and ordered our meal. I had the NY Steak with baked potato and salad. The salad was nice and fresh and was a good size. The steak was cooked as ordered (medium rare), but it wasn't the highest quality of cut and had some gristle. It could have used some more seasoning. My wife's ribeye looked to be a better cut of meat, and she enjoyed the steak. The baked potato came out nice and hot. For dessert we enjoyed a nice slice of Pecan pie. Tried this during the week in the early afternoon. I found the restaraunt to be clean. and the waitstaff was attentive. It had a nice looking bar. Pablo's proves that you don't need to go to a big city to get a fantastic steak. And even if you do, it may not be better than Pablo's! I saw pictures of the steak on YELP, and they looked pretty enticing, so I figured I'd go. And It was even better than I expected! Phenomenal! I ordered the ribeye, which was cooked perfectIy. Seared awesome on the outside, it had lots of flavor, and was super tender. I also ordered the caramelized onions, mushrooms, and gravy on the side. And that was the perfect complement for the steak, which was cooked with a lot of Gusto! Yeah!! And beforehand, I had a loaded baked potato soup. And guess what? That was phenomenal, too! My server Bri, was not only a sweetheart, but also a fast and hard worker--moving about quickly to take care of a bit of a rush of diners. This used to be my wife's favorite restaurant in Benson. The experience today was especially disappointing. The entree was overcooked and dry. The side portions were smaller, while prices were higher. This restaurant used to be packed all day long, but there were a lot more empty tables today. read more

This was recommended by a local and I was super happy with the service, portion size, and great tasting salad and appetizer. The other things on the menu looked just as good as they were being served and I could tell these are returning customers. They even worked with me voluntarily on lowering the price of my salad due to not wanting any chicken on my Ceasar salad. I'm sorry but the steak wasnt worth $28 to me. I asked the waiter "please ask the kitchen to not hurry on this, ask the cook to let the steak rest and get it right". That tactic didn't work out and the not tender and the veggies cold. I couldn't even melt the butter on the mashed potatoes etc. The burgers there are decent but not award winning. The service is OK and the staff attentive if the restaurant isn't too busy. The beer and liquor prices are higher than I would expect also. read more

This place is still so yummy. The food is fresh and perfectly grilled. I always get their grilled chicken sandwich bc the chicken is juicy and the bun is buttery and toasted. The best part about this place is the NACHOS!! I'm sorry but I love nacho cheese, and the steak they put on top is delicious. We live in Tucson now and I was literally craving it!! Wow, just wow! I came here because I wanted a good meal since we have been in Arizona working and haven't had a real meal in a week. We came in and it was pretty full and warm, thank goodness. We were seated quickly and got our water but it took forever for them to take our order. After we ordered our salad and soup came rather quickly. The potato soup was perfect! After that, we waited and waited and waited... the tables that came after us ordered, ate, as and finished and we still hadn't received meal. I asked the server if they forgot us, she said they were just busy. When we got our steak and potato, it was cool exactly as we liked it. The potato was great and not over cooked or undercooked. It was well worth the wait although, I'd rather not wait so long. read more

Steak house, yep, line out the door and about a dozen folk waiting at 5pm. We were early. Service was friendly and polite but slow. Food took 30 plus minutes. Wife had bbq chicken breast with rice and corn. Corn big kernels and fresh. Enjoyed, chicken moist and flavorful. I enjoyed the grilled salmon with steamed mixed veggies. Veggies were fresh cooked aldente'. Salmon good portion and moist. Overall good food.$$ ambience was warm and inviting. Real down home family owned feel. We were a party of four. First time there. Two of us will not go back. My husband ordered a NY steak medium rare - it was well done but he didn't send it back. I asked the waitress when we were seated how many ribs were in a 1/4 rack. She had no idea. Then I asked were they baby back or full size and she said big. Nope baby back. The rolls she brought out were hard as a rock. Told her she said they were in a warmer and were the last ones. More were baking. Why bring hard rolls at all? Asked how many wings were in an order. I adore this place. The food is great, the service is good, and the prices are decent. I love their prickly pear margarita. I haven't tried anything else... I've had the fajitas and the pork tacos. Both are very good. But heed my warning. When the pork tacos say they are spicy, they are NOT kidding! The fajitas have a great flavor and the tortillas are fresh! My husband has had steal both times, and he didn't want to share. He said they were very well cooked. It's self-seat and the wait staff is quick. They also bring you bread and some beans. And those beans are dang good! The drink menu is good and happy hour deals are nice. This is a great option for dinner out in such a small town. Horrible place!! At 8:15 pm on a Friday night they refused to seat us because "the kitchen was closing soon (at 9pm)" and they "weren't sure they could get the food prepared in time". Seriously???
