Good deli sandwiches. Not cheap but worth the cost. Good service and nice surroundings.

We stumbled upon this place which is a bit further walk than the main part of town. If you head away from the main part (walk up the hill on the main street) you will see it on the right. It seemed to have better (earlier hours) than the other places in town. The sandwiches were surprisingly good. My wife had the Tuna Salad on Mixed Greens ($11.95) and was quite happy with it. I had one of their sandwich specials, which was the turkey, brie, gruyere, and bacon (with a mayo called "prickly pear jalapeno mayo) on excellent grilled focaccia bread. In fact, it was my favorite sandwich of the trip. We ate outside on the patio, which was nice. Although you order at the counter, they bring your food to your table (it was a bit slow) and you bus your table too.

Around 4pm my Family decided to eat here. It's called "Chef's Table inside. It's nice cozy restaurant you can either sit inside or outside , there also a little place in the middle where you can also dine inside. We first greeted by Raquel, Raquel helped us to be seated she was so sweet! Our waiter was Blaine, he asked us if we had any questions and we did. He answered them so beautifully! We ordered European Seabass mixed vegetables and rice, Norwegian Salmon broccoli, carrots and rice, Baked Atlantic Cod mixed vegetables and rice, Beef Stroganoff with broccoli and carrots. For dessert we got 3 lemons bars . Everything was super delicious! Blaine was super polite, sweet, kind, caring, super down to earth! Blaine has this super positive energy about himself that really radiates! As we were finishing up the Chef Harold came to our table so sweet & kind of him! He had asked if everything was ok? It wasn't ok! It's was spot on delicious, the dishes were so savory, we really enjoyed our meals!! Their price points are spot on & the portions are great too! I would like the Thank Tubac Market " Chef's Table" and Staff for wonderful visit! I would love to especially Thank Blaine & Chef Harold for making our visit so memorable! When we come out here again, we definitely will be back! I'll tell all my family & friend to come here !

On a beautifully cloudy, monsoon wknd with Tucson attractions largely hibernating from the July…read moreheat/humidity we opted to explore Sonoita's wine country. Wine tasting shouldn't be done on an empty stomach so the first planned stop was The Cafe... I guess as in THE Cafe, Lol. And it lives up to its namesake. We ordered everything listed on the Special-of-the-Day menu which included a grass-fed burger with brie and bacon and a blue-cheese and tomato bisque soup. We got an extra side of sweet potato fries. All portions were decently sized (see pic of burger/soup) and more than filled us up with the requisite protein and complex carbs to sustain us for an afternoon of wine tasting. Service was excellent and attentive. TIP: if you're splitting an entree they will charge $2 to cut it in half and merely bring an extra plate or they'll charge a whopping $5 extra to formally divide the meal and place them on two separate plates before bringing them out to the table. We opted to have neither done and simply shared all of our entrees and sides from the plates they came on (and were charged $0 :) Parking is ample but it's a dirt/gravel lot which can get muddy during monsoons. And they close AT 2pm!

Arriving at 1:15 there was a couple at the bar and we were the only ones at a table. The very friendly young lady server brought water and menus... but the menu was only one page and had a choice of one salad, three sandwiches and a burger. There was a special of the day ... a meatloaf sandwich that I ordered and it was quite good. I asked what happened to the huge menu we saw on line ... turns out they are now only open Saturdays from 11:30 until 2:30 and Friday evenings from 5 until 7 and that is by reservation. The dinner menu has a few more items listed and I will post the current menu. Very friendly, great service ... excellent food ... but very limited hours. Posting this as most of the reviews are quite old and this will be current information.
