The cookies themselves were so delicious. In fact, I just ate one almost 2 weeks after the party and it tasted just as fresh as it did when I received it. She does require a deposit of half the total amount to secure your date, but with all of her wonderful yelp reviews, I did not hesitate to send it. You will not be disappointed if you order from her. I don't even know where to start…read more So I'll start at the beginning, we live about 45-60 mins away from Buena Park and I was throwing a party there so I needed to source local vendors. I came across Ashley and sent her a few text about what I wanted and no joke - I sent her like 2 photos with a few details and she absolutely hit it out of the park! I even sent her my daughter's dress so that she got an idea of what colors I wanted (I did send it to her like the day before so it was a bit late). However, when I saw the cake on the day of I was like " omg omg omg! It's so unbelievably exquisite!" My daughter was SO surprised and stoked because she thought she was just getting cupcakes and she was thrilled that the cake was everything she likes (sparkles, unicorn, rainbows). I opted for a white cake with white filling and fresh strawberries. Our guests liked the cake, however I found it a bit too sweet - but to be fair I'm actually not a cake person. I think next time if I'm throwing a party in OC again and use HellooCakess again I'm going to request a little less sugar on the cake (I do this typically with most cakes anyway.) We picked the up the day before the event and they tasted just as fresh after being in the fridge overnight. Pickup was super easy and they were very kind! They even gave us a small sample box so we could try the macarons and confirm that they were delicious before serving them to guests. The full order was given to us in a box, but we ordered a tower tray on Amazon to display them for the party. We ordered four flavors: chocolate, vanilla, Oreo, and salted caramel. The flavor comes from the filling, which was great because then we were able to select colors for the cookies that matched the party's color palette.
