They wrote down my order (I got 4 different flavors) and I was set to pick up. I also noticed they gave me a wrong flavor (I ordered chocolate whiskey and they gave me caramel something instead). And I had to spell it out for her and say "take these caramel ones out and replace them with the ones I ordered" and had to point and all and the cashier just said "oh okay." For custom cakes, they require a deposit, and then the rest of the payment can be made near or on the pick-up date. They also go over their policy with you over the phone. My sister was very particular of how she wanted her birthday cake. She specified that she wanted a carrot cake with cream-cheese frosting, heart-shaped, baby-blue in color with sparkles, and have black bows. The bakery doesn't make any non-edible add-ons so I had to provide the black bows, and it turned out absolutely beautiful that we didn't want to eat it! Carrot cake was delicious, we all enjoyed it.
