We go to this spot regularly. Today was way off. What happened R&R. We arrived at 11:39 ordered the buffet. 2 pizzas on buffet and 5 in our party and 5 more eating buffet. Finally 3 pizzas came out. We had to ask for the chicken wings. They never brought them out. The soda fountain Co2 was out. Sodas flat. I said something to the guy and he said ok. 2 min. Later still flat soda until we said something to the cashier. Finally after we were done eating they fixed the soda. Salad bar was empty. No motivation to fix it until another customer got upset and said where is the salad. Never seen a dessert pizza and no more wings ever came out. What happened here. This is not the quality service we have always received. The usual manager/owner was not there today. The team working has no clue how to maintain a buffet when you have 15 people eating. First of all this is a very small town, so the pizza options are limited. If you've had world class pizza, you'll need to lower your standards. This won't compare. Between the two main competitors those being R&R and G&F your getting about the same thing. I think the sandwiches are better at G&F and I've had better pasta at R&R. Both have or had salad bars that are rarer to find anymore. Neither place is going to win any awards, but if you're hungry, neither place will disappoint. read more

the food was notttt the best let me just say that. i ordered a 20 piece boneless chicken wings and they weren't even shaped like chicken wings are normally shaped and the texture was like stringy but also chewy at the same time... idk the customer service isn't that bad i would just say when it comes to door dashing they are soooooo slow and they suck at packing their stuff its always a mess (ive worked in the food business i know its supposed to be a bit cleaned up at LEAST) and at the buffet they dont have too many options but i do like that they ask you what type of pizza you like because they'll make it, at least thats what they did when i went, it was pretty clean and quiet and i enjoyed that but over all i wouldnt go back or do it again read more

Coming from Louisiana on my way to California I stopped in Benson Arizona and got some fuel. My plan was to get Mexican food, but I saw this R&R pizza across from where I got my diesel. I had the senior buffet and chose the veggie pizza and a nice salad from the salad bar. The buffet includes a drink which makes it a very affordable meal. Would like more greens in the salad and more selections of add-ons to the bar like sliced olives and beets. The veggie pizza was very delicious and the other pizzas looked very good also. Very nice large high booths and many tables for large gatherings. I hope the community supports this business because it is something we need. read more

Service: 3/5, I ordered it on the phone and the lady was pretty nice. I walked up to the counter and asked for my order. The lady said "$7.65" and went to the back to get the pizza. Not the best greeting. I then payed and left. Location: 3/5, Once I got there the outside of the place looked weird, but don't be fooled, the inside is much better. Although everything was old and nothing seemed to be inviting. It is was very dark inside as well, I don't know what that was about. By the time my food was delivered, the pizza was cold. I'm thinking their version of Hawaiian pizza is very lackadaisical. Barely any pineapple, not much in the way of ham/bacon/pork. The garlic bread was cold. Garlic was barely detectable. The salad was horrible. Broccoli, iceberg lettuce, and bleached (oh, sorry, mini carrots) carrots. Glad I didn't order dessert. EDIT AFTER NASTY RESPONSE FROM PROPRIETOR: Apparently the owner didn't like what I have to say, didn't even offer an apology, as you can see. What a lousy attitude for the person responsible for my dinner failure. I will add, that my dinner was supposed to have been delivered in 45 minutes. Then somehow the garlic bread got burned. Then the delivery driver had to go elsewhere first. All told, an hour 15. Yelp might be for haters, as you say, but if you had an actual website I would have commented there. Benson has 2 locally owned pizza restaurants. Last night I went to R and R Pizza to give it a try. Walking up to the counter to order, we encountered an unwelcoming gentleman who barely acknowledged us. We ordered a large pizza ($15 for no toppings) and upgraded to "meat lovers" for an additional $5. The restaurant interior is dominated by kids video game machines and is somewhat "rustic". Arriving around 4:45, we had to search out a clean table even though there was just one other couple there. The pizza was brought to our table by the gentleman who took our order 15 minutes earlier. We had to get styrofoam plates and plastic utensils ourselves. It was an attractive pie, about the size of a large Little Caesars, with a medium amount of meat toppings and a tasty crust. We found the pizza to be "good", but question if it was $20 good considering the quality of the pizza combined with the location/ restaurant itself. Bottom line for me- I appreciate locally owned restaurants and want them to succeed, but I don't think I'll be returning due to price and quality of the pizza. It was ok, but I could have picked up a "5 Meat Feast" pizza that's the same size/quality at Little Caesar's down the street and saved $6. Suggestion- appreciate your customers with a welcoming greeting/smile and lower the price of your pizzas a couple dollars. It's too easy to go elsewhere. read more

The pizza here is really delicious and you can watch sports on 1 of there 5 tv's. They have a game room for the kids in the family. The waitress's are friendly and easy to talk with. My favorite is pizza a a pint. Every pizza is freshly made. Now I'm hungry. Enjoy! read more

Decent pizza but they are huge! We got a cheese pizza and bread sticks. The pizza was a little greasy for my preferences, but still very good. The bread sticks were great! The wait time was not very long. While we didn't get one, the salad bar looked like it had some good options. The place overall was fairly clean. I really liked all the train decor, but that does make sense with the whole name thing. Everyone was very nice. They also had lots of options for non-pizza foodstuffs. We drove over from Sierra Vista for the buffet. My son loves the bone in wings and when one of the employees heard that and that it was his birthday, he came over and asked what kind of wings we liked best. A few minutes later he brought them to our table. It made my son's day! We usually come over when the kids have a break from school and we enjoy it every time.
